No matter how old it gets, No matter how much people hate it, But it’s always be my personal favourite ❤️
I want to run away,
With someone in the middle of the night,
And go on adventures,
And see the world,
And eat at cheap truck shops,
And sit on top of the car,
And look at the stars,
And just be somewhere other than here...

Book:
This story is based on protagonist named Will Traynor, a successful, passionate, adventurous and sporty person who loves travelling and do anything which pushes him to the verge which makes his life more amazing. Its 2007, when he’s leaving for his office and the rain was pouring heavily and while he was crossing the road to hail a cab then bam a bike lost its control and hit him. That accident made Will quadriplegic. The story starts two years after that accident. Louisa Clark, a bubbly and chirpy girl, who belongs to the middle class family and trying her best to feed her family. It’s the time of recession and Louisa is one of those people who loses her job. Then she tries her luck in different job but couldn’t get along with any. Then she finds the job as a carer at Traynor’s house that are paying hourly wage. Her parents push her to try for this job. The job based on the contract of six-months to take care or somehow entertain Will Traynor. At first the job seems to her pretty boring because the way Will talks to her made her blood boil. Soon after they become good friends and Will tries to pursue her to do those things which she thinks are not her cup of tea.
I like it when Will try to pushes Louisa to an edge where she has done anything which is extreme for her like tattoo making, scuba diving, etc. things she only dreamt about but never wanted to take a risk of getting out of her comfort zone. On the other hand, Louisa is trying her best for Will to change his mind and never go to Switzerland. They both fell in love but Will knows that it’s not good for both of them to be like this forever. The story ends with Louisa sitting in Paris reading the letter that Will has written for her before his death. It’s Will wish that Louisa should see the world and do everything which makes her happy and he’ll be there for her.
I can’t forget about the letter, each words are still resonate in my ear and it’s like he’s written that for me I know it sound stupid because I cry for that like an idiot and I can’t help it.
Movie:
As soon as I finished reading the book, I started watching movie. Well, talking about movie it’s not that much good but the fact is they can’t put whole book in just 1:30-2:00 hours. But it is not that bad, a must watch movie along with Ed Sheeran songs in it. Besides, most of the dialogues are taken from the book. I like Emilia Clarke’s acting, but still it’s funny to see how “mother of dragons” go crazy over stripy-tights as a present on her birthday (just kidding). The voice of Sam Claflin is so mesmerising, I can listen to him all day, why doesn’t he become a radio jockey (another bad joke, sorry for that).
While watching the movie, I remembered Bollywood movie named Guzaarish (2010). The movie revolves around the magician named Ethan Mascarenhas (Hritik Roshan) who is quadriplegic since 14 years and files the petition in court asking for ending his life. But the court rejects his plea. Sofia D’Souza (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) his caretaker who’s been with him since twelve years after his accident and was married to a man who’s abusive to her. Later on Sofia gets divorce from her former husband and confess her love to Ethan. Ethan on other hand loves her too. In the end of the movie Ethan invites all of his closest people and says that he will be dying a happy man with no regrets and a heart full of Sofia’s love and bids all goodbye.
The story in this book (Me Before You) talks about the people who have lost control over their body due to severe spinal injury caused by accident. There are mainly four types of paralysis, namely, Quadriplegic (is a paralysis below the neck), monoplegia (is a paralysis of single part of the body), hemiplegia (paralysis of one side of the body) and paraplegia (is the paralysis below the waist). Though sometimes paralysis can be temporary and can be cured with proper treatment. But the fact is if it’s happen once then the chances are it can come back again. Because paralysis effects the spinal cord and spinal cord connects brain to the nerves throughout the body. Unfortunately, in many cases paralysis isn’t curable. Though medical scientist are trying their best to find the solution for curing it. In the year 2016, there was a news claiming for a treatment of quadriplegic patient. Neuroscientist treated quadriplegic with stem cells and that patient had substantially recovered the functions of his upper body within two months into the process. You can read the whole article here.
There is a non-profit organisation named Dignitas in Switzerland, which provide assistance/accompanied suicide to those people who are suffering from long-time terminal/severe physical/ or mental illness with support from qualified Swiss doctors. Doctors check the person’s previous treatment report and ask them whether it’s their wish to die or they’re coerced to do so. Though the method is a bit costly but some people prefer it to die peacefully. Dignitas is mentioned in book as well as in movie where Will has gone to end his life.
When I finished reading I was thinking what if Will listened to Louisa and never have gone to Switzerland? Will that make his life more miserable and painful or better?
At the end, this story reminds me that not every person are meant to stay in our life forever, no matter how hard we try to stop them to go, but eventually they play vital role to change our life for better.
If I could fly,
I would fly to the mountains,
To taste the charm of peace and serenity,
To know how people feel,
When they are climbing to the highest point,
I heard that the mountains sing,
I would love to listen to those songs,
And dance in tranquillity ❤️

Life is never just for everyone, We all suffer it differently, And for a little amount of time, We find solace in the support others provide to us, We start to think that maybe we are all same, In suffering, bearing, and all the torturous efforts of life, But that's never the case, Indeed, we all endure, But everyone has their own set of sufferings, We might be sailing on the same boat, But our destinations are indeed different...
No matter what people have promised to you,
No matter how they have treated you,
Remember that, at the end of the day,
It will always be you collecting your broken pieces and making them afresh and workable
No one is coming to help, but only YOU will!

Life is an amazing thing we ever get from God... It gave us so many challenges,so many exams... But it is us who have to choose about rights and wrongs of life :) This decision can make our life worse or can make our life better than ever
One Day
We will meet one day
Under the starry light
In a field full of blooming wildflowers
Surrounded by legends and fairies
Me, in a fiery gown
You, in a crisp tuxedo
Both yearn to be found by each other
Eyes wandering surreptitiously in the crowd
To get just a glimpse, maybe
Or maybe to touch and feel that you’re real and alive
To feel the essence of your skin
Will it be warm?
Like sultry winter sunlight
Will it be cold?
Like summery ice
Though it deems unattainable
Feels like the end of the world
In between the impossibles
We will find each other one day

It happened once again. She saw that dream again, though not an actual dream but a terrible nightmare. She found herself at the same place, debilitating. Where nothing was visible, only darkness prevailing at everything. She was crying and screaming for help, but nobody came to rescue her.
She heard that people often help girls if they are in need of it, but nobody came for her. Why? Was it because she was not beautiful? Or maybe because she was not fair as a girl should be? She cried over and over again, wandering everywhere on the streets, reaching for myriads of people, asking them to help her, but nobody gave a damn about her. She was devastated, yet hoping that she would be alright like all the happy people used to be. Days had passed, but her situation was getting worse than before. Nothing good was happening to her.
Maybe because she was so irreparable that no solution seemed reasonable to her. But one fine day, she met a few people. People who suffered a lot in their life. Instead of lamentation, they were living their lives like a hero, believing they had won battles. Battles, that made them the great people they wanted to be. Those moments exchanged with them gave her hope to deal with her pain. With each passing day, she was becoming more powerful, both mentally and physically. A new believer, acknowledging that everything would be okay if only she learned how to fight like a warrior. Then one fine day, she saw herself standing in front of a door. A door she had never seen before. Never in any dream or in a nightmare. Surprisingly, she did not remember how she reached there. A door which was shining brighter than anything she had ever seen in her life. She was striding ahead to reach the doorknob. As she opened the door, it became impossible to see what was lying there. But suddenly the light was starting to get fainter, and then she finally saw that that light was coming from a mirror. A beautifully carved mirror that she once saw in an antique shop.
As soon as she touched it, that mirror evolved into HER. It was impossible to believe for the human eye, but that mirror started to speak. It said, “Beauty always resides in you. It does not matter whether you are rich or poor, dark or fair, tall or short. Remember that you are precious. What you have, nobody else has ever had. Be who you are. If you ever try to be like someone else, then you will lose the charm you have. People are depressing themselves with the things they can never have. It is better for you to be happy with what you have right now. If you cry for the things you never had, how will you enjoy and cherish the things to have? Life is a mixture of appreciating small moments that stay with us till we die. Live your life to the fullest, not just drag your days to death. You never know when death will take you. Work hard, have faith and achieve anything, and everything good in life.”
