Some great movies got made in the 80s. And the best ones starred Arnold Schwarzenegger. 😅 They're not always the best at predicting the future. But they got some of this one right. #guesswhatmovieimwatching #thebutcherofbakersfield #fuckimold https://www.instagram.com/p/CBMRM6EBMU4MVEv3s8-HR1TgJ9eYeaK-sE_j740/?igshid=1h2o4ej8vsc2v

Here's a view of my city I haven't had in oh, 25 years. #citytransit #buspeople #nothavingwheelsmustreallysuck https://www.instagram.com/p/BzgcEDvBoHSPaqmZwNKnsfZe5ImbqebfLNVNK00/?igshid=1mlomxabdc2sw
I received a good reminder about where the best place to live is earlier. Thought I'd share. #liveinthemoment #anxietyhelp #depressionhelp #mentalhealthadvocate https://www.instagram.com/p/CWdhDLDrxuc/?utm_medium=tumblr

It's cold and winter's just starting But the view ain't bad at least. With a weekend finally here, I'd like to just stay right where I am until Monday if I could. No anxiety; just warm covers, grey skies and a hot cup of tea. https://www.instagram.com/p/CIaupcpBQAhoL7u0Ks41b1hkOsVha_Nt5YlirQ0/?igshid=esp9vvuphfml
Omw to pick up my young Avenger and head to #FANEXPOCanada I've been taking her for years and it's one of the things we both love doing together. In spite of all the things we lug around in our bags of hammers, maybe (just maybe) sometimes all it takes is a fingersnap, and some gratitude for the good things. @officialfxc #fanexpocanada2019 #fanexpo #gratitude https://www.instagram.com/p/B1gd5YLBMcp/?igshid=2xiwkyhijzfk
Little Friday afternoon office rivalry where we're being asked to choose between one great thing and ear-garbage. I chose not to vote but instead let Grumpy Cat speak for me. https://www.instagram.com/p/BrYSgA3gXxO5z8-wjckjY5h_BN6hAEBDgMFQ8k0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1aqy6ttedskgk
It's been a long time since I've owned a copy of this album. It's beat up af, and I don't know who the hell Butterworth is. Even so. I can't wait to play this... #darksideofthemoon #vinylsoundsbetter https://www.instagram.com/p/BwH4-CZBXfeGEn9RGEn9nuKQ5XJJf5p9QgavlI0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1rlk7poze03ip
I'm really not smart enough to be reading this book. But given that he was probably the smartest man to be alive at the same time as us, I can probably be forgiven if some/most/all of it goes over my head. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bp50_azAjOLN_NvKg8ApmXP8flXzE2hR12F8Qo0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1wzn3mcks2nsu
Before the beginning of last year, I came across an idea about documenting positive experiences over a year by jotting down little notes of 'Good Things' that take place, so that at a future point, you can look back, maybe when you need to see the positives, or to gain perspective. I call the various things I have to deal with my "bag of hammers". (Not my idea. I stole it from Michael J. Fox.) We all carry one of these bags around with us; it's just the contents that differ between each of us. At the moment, my bag of hammers is heavier than usual, and I thought this would be a good time to review my list of 'Good Things', and begin anew. I wanted to share this in case any of you like the idea and wanted to try it out yourself. And to say out loud that it's ok to talk about the things in each of our bags of hammers, and ok for us to have to carry them. As I look through my list from last year, I am strengthened, and am able to find gratitude for all of the things, large and small that I have to be thankful for. #practicinggratitudehelps #affirmationshelp #itsoktoneedhelp https://www.instagram.com/p/BtN_menBhJBOikj480tO2ukiSYpYTl452ZpBaI0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=dtiwvfuh10hl
