In response to your last post about selfshipping! I absolutely do that with my self-ships too! I make my s/i a minor like 99% of the time, and on the occasion that I feel like it, I'll make my romantic f/o a familial f/o as well, or vice-verse, usually as a form of coping with my trauma as well! Selfshipping that way is 100% valid, cause you aren't really hurting anybody! There really is no correct or incorrect way to self-ship, and you shouldn't let anybody try to tell you otherwise! - @touchstarved-syrup-selfships

hi! replying to your last post (the one about trauma-related selfshipping), although my selfships aren't like that (I'm lucky enough for not having experienced anything like that irl), I've certainly seen at least a few people in the community who've also experienced family-related trauma do the same thing as you do, which is a great coping mechanism btw (if it works for you, of course)!! hope you have a nice day/night! and your f/os love you regardless of your dynamic, of course! :D

Proship has always been and will always be valid! Proshipping existed well before the discourse became a thing! Back when people shipped sebaciel without batting an eye and read whatever the hell they wanted without the fear of being a 'bad person'. When everyone knew that finding these topics interesting in fiction didn't correlate to their views irl. When people knew to block what they didn't like, and didn't threaten real people over their own dislikes. These things have always existed in fandom spaces, and though it's valid to hate certain dynamics and topics in fiction it doesn't mean anyone deserves to be threatened and harassed if they do like those fictional ideas! I love you proshippers and you are always welcome here!

I'm unsure of if you have an issue because I'm non-sharing with them or if it's because I'm proship but whatever issue you have with me you can always just block me. I'm going to assume the issue is the non-sharing aspect since you pointed that out, I feel like if it were a proship issue you'd have said this about all of my f/os lol, but I have no ill will in any way shape or form towards others who selfship with them. I support their relationship existing I just don't want to see it. I hold no attraction to real people, I'm just attracted to fictional characters or whatever so Jumin and Caleb feel like a real relationship to me if you get what I mean. I've loved Jumin since mysmes first came out (2016, almost 9 years now, of course there's an attachment) and Caleb just hit me hard even before he came out as a love interest, so I mean. Yeah. I think they want to be with me 😭 But it's not like a selfshipper needs to have some deeper reason for being non-sharing, if they're non-sharing then they're non-sharing and that's that. ive truly always wondered how antis could say that proshipping is bad and it reflects your morals yet agree that if, for say, youre a lesbian yet you like a fictional character that is a male, then that doesnt inherently reflect your sexuality, does that make sense? its the same concept 😭
