tbh ive been neutral on the whole proship antiship discourse for a long while now but seeing how you handle anti asks and your explanation on the most recent one is making me consider downright saying im proship. i never thought of it as dolls, but when you said it it clicked in my mind because its true? either way ive never been someone who harassed people. thank you for this blog op.

Hi anon, proship has always been anti-harassment especially towards fictional ships, just like profiction is the broader term for being anti-harassment with all things fictional. Basically, ship and let ship, don't like don't look, blocking instead of harassing, things of this nature. So if your views align with this, you're probably proship, BUT It's totally fine to not want to label yourself, you don't need to call yourself proship even if your views are adjacent to the label. Not everyone wants to be actively involved in communities or use labels. But if you are wanting to be apart of the community or call yourself proship, we're glad to have you! I just came across ur post and r u srs proship is just anitharassment,,, I kept hearing it was only problematic ships from antis (-_-') m not deeply involved in the discourse so I didnt know but antis tell ppl proship is problematic ship so much I thought thats what it was too,,, I never thought that was good reason to harass ppl becuz it is just fiction right? Hi anon, I'm sorry you were misinformed oh no 😭 Yes, proship is anti-harassment and anti-censorship especially for fictional ships. I assume you're referring to my post explaining the whole 'It's darkship not proship' situation, and as I mentioned in that post people can be a darkshipper and still not be a proshipper, because proship is just the whole anti-harassment part. You aren't obligated to like anything being a proshipper, it's just your actions towards other real, living people that determine if you're proship or antiship. Hi proship darkshippers who struggle with moral OCD, just wanted to remind you that your fictional ships and interests do NOT make you a bad person what-so-ever. You are still a good person and the fact you don't go out of your way to harass people over their own fictional interests, the fact you don't wish harm on real people, is just one of many reasons why you ARE in fact a good person! It's okay to like dark media, it's okay to want to explore said media through art and writing and etc, your interest in these fictional ideas does not reflect your morals in real life situations. Repeat after me: You aren't harming anyone, you are not hurting any real, living person, by being interested in dark media. It's okay, you're okay, I promise. <3

I'm actually thriving with Love and DeepSpace, Caleb is so perfect ahhh <3 He was definitely made for the ones who prefer just a pinch 🤏🏻 of darker romance. But it also opened my eyes a little about just how sensitive anti's morals are? There are so many Love and DeepSpace players who can't enjoy Caleb's character AT ALL because he's a little bit possessive and obsessive, he borders on yandere but he really doesn't either? He won't kill just any regular person, he will really only kill/hurt people who harm MC. So even if they WERE ogling at her, that wouldn't prompt him to kill them, but he has many of the other yandere traits! And also, theyre childhood friends, who seemed to have a sort've brotherly-sisterly bond. Caleb never thought of it that way but he always kept his feelings hidden for the sake of making her happy! Though his character runs much, much deeper than that, the fandom makes it where you have to validate enjoying Caleb's character or else you're a freak weirdo who likes pseudo-incest, you do NOT need to validate enjoying his character omg 😭!! And so what if they do enjoy making them have a step-sibling bond while he's a love interest, I think of it that way sometimes myself, and I self-ship with him too 😭 People will act like if you can't 'validate' liking him based on their morals then you're p0rn addicted and an awful person, no!! There's so many sweet moments with him too, I ADORE all the sappy, romantic, tender and sweet moments, just because he's abit of a darker character, or just because he's a character whose much easier to use for darker dynamics, doesn't mean anything omgg 😭 Someone said 'So many people started playing the game because of the fact Caleb was like a brotherly figure who turned into a L/I and that's really concerning' no it isn't 😭 as long as those people aren't participating in those things IRL there is no issue, let them enjoy their fictional interests. There are FAR worse characters in media, in otome games in general, and no that doesn't mean you should bash those characters or their enjoyers, but it should open your eyes about just how common and OKAY it is to see people put their fictional interests into practice in their writing and art.

First of all, for those of you who didn't know, I don't ship anything besides mine and others selfships, I am just absolutely for every ship existing and being supported. Second of all any dark fictional concepts I enjoy is a reflection of my OWN trauma in some way or another and it helps me process and cope, though darkshipping is still valid even if it isn't for the sake of coping. Third of all I'm not attracted to real people like at all so getting with a man or anyone IRL is highly unlikely. Fourth of all trauma can't be gatekept, when people enjoy fictional darkships or dark scenarios I can assure you they more than likely are not sitting here like 'oh yeah this is this one persons trauma, I will incorporate it into a ship for the sole purpose of romanticizing this said persons trauma' like that just doesn't happen. Either they're coping with their OWN trauma or just find it interesting to explore in fiction. Fifth of all it's absolutely okay to hate or dislike me but interacting with me at all is breaking your own boundaries, boundaries have to be fulfilled by both parties and if you break your own boundary that isn't my fault. Sixth of all this sounds quite personal and emotional so I hope you have a good day and learn to respect your own boundaries so you don't cause yourself and anyone else any unnecessary distress. Hi ily proshippers who have demonized disorders, I don't care what the disorder is, there is no exception here. You are just as valued and accepted here as anyone else. No I do not think you're an evil person just for having the disorder, I think you're a human being like all of us are and just because you have that disorder doesn't mean you are any less of a human being.
