(I'm doing the anon because it's a lil embarrassing)
So my friend is a huge fob fan and it was her birthday recently and as one does I stalked her blog for present ideas. Well she reblogged your kintsugi kid comic and the line "and it feels like I'm fighting for something I've long forgotten how to believe in" stuck out to me. So I sketched up a broken teacup, plopped the lyrics on it and turned it into a sticker. I had /assumed/ that the lyrics were in the song (I listen to fob but haven't gotten around to listening to the entirety of the new album yet) but since she's already received a sticker pack I decided to post the final drawing online but I thought I should actually listen to the song before I post it, and the lyrics aren't there?! Like if you came up with that yourself good on ya. It sounds like something Patrick would sing.
But yeah I spent the last 45 minutes stress searching online for those exact lyrics and came up with nothing
(also I haven't posted the picture yet, I don't want to take credit for lyrics/poetry that you wrote)
hello anon!
i think it's very thoughtful of you to customize an fob sticker for your friend as a gift!! it's also very cool! i would have loved to receive something like that !!
also yeah omg the comic i made is basically me just filling in the blanks of kintsugi kid with my own brainrot and feelings lmao i'm very much in love with fob's lyricism so i guess that kinda seeps into my writing a lot. although i do have a lot of other writing influences,, fall out boy along with a bunch of other emo lyricists is probably among my biggest artistic influences,, so i suppose what you said would make sense-- that the thing i wrote kinda sounded like a convincing fob lyric lmao thats very nice to hear actually lol it validates me so much as an emo kid sksksk
feel free to post the sticker pic btw! i would love to see what you made !! you can just mention my username in the hashtags or in the caption either way is fine :)

im aight with drawing hands from memory but do you ever just... try to draw feet from memory and proceed to make the biggest embarassment out of your entire existence as an artist
i'll love you forever (hell, i've loved you all along)
