A Few Things Before You Read…
Keep in mind that this is a script, not a novel. There are certain structures and rules that would make it vastly different from writing a novel.
There was a 45-50 page limit.
This is a loose adaptation.
Because of that, the script will differ from the original content.
Any changes made to the original source material was done to better the narrative of the film.
Writing this was the best…and worst kind of mental, emotional and physical roller coaster. you could have when writing.
If you see a song mentioned playing over a scene, give it a listen while reading ;)
I cried multiple times while writing this.
Now, without further ado…
Enjoy!
I genuinely thought Lester Pocket was someone they'd introduced in like season one and was waiting for some context clues to remind me about him all the way up to the Harlan reveal where I realized that I am in fact very slow
worst part about not rewatching early seasons before a new one drops out it's bc i immediately accept whatever new information as something ive already seen before. the jennifer incident? harlan using lester instead of his own name? abigail??? i assumed all of that appeared on the first two seasons and moved on with my life.
