Monster Next Door
Honestly I’m loving it so far. As an introvert, this show is sooo relatable. I love how they’re acknowledging the differences and what scenarios are comfortable for different people. How people express themselves, the time needed to determine what they want to say, how certain scenarios can be overwhelming, et cetera. For me, I love socializing but I can’t handle people. By this I mean I can’t small talk or give the expected reactions to scenarios (talking is hard, talking in a more expressive way is difficult for me). Plus I tend to crash after social events. Anyway I’m excited for this show, seems fun so far. Have marvelous day/night!
Ah Between Us is so good! But I keep having flashbacks of Until We Meet Again and I am just crying inside. Ah I loved that show. I’m so giddy right now so imma just leave this little blurb here. There’s more shows for me to watch and ramble about so until we meet again, have a good day! 💕
Okay I got more things to ramble about now. Spoilers for ep 2 of 4 minutes the series.
When Tle and Great are fighting after the hospital scene, that camera angle felt so I guess intentional? Ah I can’t find the right word but it felt like they were being spied on, like a security camera or something. And the way it just kinda flew at them. What was that? I don’t know really anything about camera movements and stuffs but they’re soooo intriguing. Ahhh. What could it mean? I also love how every scene of the series feels off, like how the edges are blurred and the placing of the characters gives the scene an eerie (?) vibe (thank you tumblr users who talk about this stuff that explains it so well). Well that’s all I wanted to mention at this point in time. Can’t wait for the next episode. Anywho, have a wonderful day and have fun!
Okay okay I just watch Color Rush 2 and (spoilers included) hear me out.
Poly. That’s all I really want to say. What if, all three of them just start going out. I think it’d be fun. But also, I just, I don’t think the way they see colors would be like that. I don’t think seeing colors would automatically be euphoria or anything, like yes I enjoy colors but hearing about colors would probably make them sound fantasy like with how others would stress over how much better it is but it’s not like seeing in grayscale is bad. Like okay I’m sorry but I think it’d be way more overwhelming and headache inducing to suddenly see more colors. It’d be interesting but something someone has to get used to, and there’d be a disconnect for a while. Anyway, sorry I have a lot of thoughts about how the shock of being bombarded with differing visuals would take a toll (listen I know he faints the first few times but also like I don’t think seeing colors would automatically be magical. I think it’d be more nauseating for a while there.) ahem, okay yeah still love it I just, lots of what-ifs, you know (and it’s super interesting to me, these aspects)? Anyway yeah poly, I think it’d be cute. Do I think they’d all get along? No. I think they’d need to get used to it first but I would love to see how they would interact with each other. Yo I’m just imagining so many different scenarios. Clearly the first things that happens when (I don’t remember any of their names) the guy (the probe? one) shows back up without a mask and both the others faint. I just, man I think it’d fun. Okay I’m done rambling for now. I’ve got sooo much shit to do but this makes me feel happy so yeah. Have a good day/night!
Sleep is cruel. I go to bed before midnight, I wake up at midnight. I go to bed at midnight I wake up at 5am. I go to bed later than midnight I wake up at 2pm.
Random thoughts:
How do people recognize others? I rely heavily on hairstyles. I rely on hair a lot. After a while I’ll start to recognize faces but mainly it’s hair. I watched Scott Pilgrim versus the world the other day and it took me a good few minutes to recognize the ex’s boyfriend as the same actor as Adam from legends of tomorrow. Ah let me give another example, last twilight and vice versa have the same leading actors. I watched last twilight and then vice versa but I didn’t recognize either actor until a good way through the first episode. During the pandemic, if someone changed their hair I would have no idea who they were. For one, masks so I can’t even try to recognize facial features and for two, if the hair changes I don’t recognize them. I know facial blindness and other stuff exists. I wonder what all other stuff there is though. The more I see a person the easier it is to recognize them but still, the hair comes first in recognition and then the facial structure. Well that’s just what my brains thinking about tonight. Have a wonderful day/night!
Sometimes I’ll get feedback on a piece of work but the way it’s said feels like a diss. So eventually I take it as a challenge. Either a by heeding the advice or challenging it completely. Too childish? Too simple? Does that make it wrong? How does that affect the piece? Does it invalidate the piece? Can it add to the message? Essentially fuck you professor I’ll find a way to make it work and simultaneously piss you off.
I happen to like my professors it’s just sometimes I wonder why something is deemed wrong and want to find a workaround. I know they don’t mean it to be rude but anger is a motivation and I will find a way to make this work. Too simple? I’ll remake the piece but does simplicity make the original work bad? Or is it not realistic enough for this specific assignment? Just somethings I think about.
Random thoughts on 4 minutes the series. Spoilers for episode 5.
Just feeling this overwhelming sadness while watching 4 minutes the series. Cause the happiness feels like it’s gonna break so soon.
Ah, is that the happiness shattering? TvT
Going onto [insert random streaming service] to finish watching a show I started… only to find its no longer there. Removed with no warning, and I now I’m left to grasp at straws. TvT
Alas, why. Oh well, time to search for it on other streaming services I hopefully have
