@staff
these are all of the posts that I just sent in appeals for. I received NO email notification that they had been flagged and NONE of them showed up in my “review flagged posts” section.
Pages from my accordion-book sketchbook. Trying out paint markers (Posca and Molotow). Really liking them so far.

I rarely reblog my own posts unless there's a specific update, but that means I'm also not very good at promoting where you can actually purchase my art!
You can get three digital (PDF) versions of my comics, "Queer Code," "Emet," and "Seven Hundred and Seventy Eight Days," and two SECRET EXTRA COMICS here: LINK
(The secret extra comics are the "R. J. Hill: Therapist" comics and the "Naruto: The Last King, The Last Priest" comic.)
"Queer Code," "Emet," and "Seven Hundred and Seventy Eight Days" are available as individual PDFs.
"Act Well Your Part" and "Emet" are available in print.
I have a limited number of my risograph illustration collections "Slap Your Cheeks for Color" and "Step Out Into Your Short Shorts."
Currently, I don't sell prints of my paintings because -- in all honestly -- there's been little demand for them, even when they were available through a print on demand website. If enough people express serious interest in prints, I'd consider trying again in the future.
I'm also thinking of creating color covers for print versions of "Queer Code" and "Seven Hundred and Seventy Eight Days," but that's kind of a back-burner idea at the moment.

I was looking at a bunch of pictures of 'creepy cute' fashion and I was struck by how... un-creepy all of it was. It was the usual conventionally attractive, cisgender, able-bodied women wearing pastel-color clothes, with the occasional skull or drippy goo thrown in to be 'creepy.' When I saw an image of an ectrodactylic hand, I genuinely found it to be incredibly cute. The skin looked so soft and there were so many different colors in it. I wanted to paint it to show how cute it looked, how anything can be cute, even the bodies and people that others may find creepy or disturbing. Why can't this hand be cute? Why can't disabled or transgender or fat people be cute? I can assure you, they can feel cute and they can desire to be seen as cute by others. tl;dr fuck your fascist cuteness standards.

If you are 18+ and make, purchase, or enjoy artwork with nudity (especially depictions of "non-normative" bodies) or sexual activity, I encourage you to join this list.
SESTA/FOSTA and the restrictions of payment processors are the primary reasons that places like Tumblr, Instagram, Patreon, Squarespace, Gumroad and Etsy (with varying ways to get around the rules) will not sell products or even host images of nudity or sexual acts.
Since I started selling my own artwork online, almost 20 years ago, the number of sites where artists can post and sell anything that merely has a NIPPLE visible has been drastically reduced. If you're aware of the disparity in censorship on sites/apps like tumblr, insta, and tiktok -- all of which have documented trends of censoring images of visibly queer, fat, and/or disabled bodies, regardless of sexual content -- then you can understand how these additional limitations further restrict the arena for creative works by marginalized communities. And the ways you can directly, ethically support adult content creators/porn stars/sex workers.
Patreon, Squarespace, Gumroad. What do all these online spaces have in common? A monopolizing payment processor. My hand slipped and I contacted the ACLU, the FSC, and the MA Bar Association for legal assistance. If you’ve been fucked over by draconian nsfw bans please join my Mastercard Injury Mailing List.
charismaticoutcast said: These are really neat! Do you mind me asking how you put your artwork on shirts/other accessories like this? Is it silk screening? I tried doing this awhile back and failed miserablyXD
No problem!
I use a printing service -- society6. I size my images to their specifications and they print and ship the product for me. They use, at least for the cloth products, a "direct to fabric" printer. I've ordered shirts from them before, but only on white so I can't speak for the other shirt colors, and the images have always been well printed and pretty darn colorfast.
However, because they do the printing and shipping, I only get a portion of the payment. But, compared to other printing services, their prices are pretty good. At society6 a 21x28 inch print costs $35 and I earn $8.65. You can raise the prices on your prints so that you earn more, but I try not to price myself out. Compare that to the print services at DeviantArt where the standard cost of a 24x24 inch print is $45 and the artist earns $7.50.
I haven't done screenprinting before, but I have used linocuts and fabric ink. If I ever chose to sell those, other prints that I created myself, or original pieces, I would sell them somewhere like etsy or storenvy, where I would just pay for hosting on their website and would be able to set the product prices myself.

I’m so glad you like the comics and thank you for buying the digital copies!
I don’t have any ideas for more comics involving Bart, Chris, and Bobby. I do have an idea and some thumbnail sketches for a comic that takes place in the same “universe,” I guess? But it’s not high on my list of personal projects at the moment.
