I saw this on Instagram and went looking for this exact post in case there were updates. There were not.
this weatherman working from home has a cat and she's a little celebrity
Hooooooomygawd. This is exactly what I was ranting about in my last post! I should’ve been posted this, but of course everytime I try I get immediately distracted and start scrolling or completely forget and walk away doing something else 😅. BUT HEYYYYY IM HEREEEE, and I’ve decided this week’s spread is underfell based since that’s what most doodles I had were🌚. So let’s just jump right into it,,
1-4.)First off an Underfell! Papyrus spread cause I luv him and I wanted to have one to match his brother. I’ve been planning on doing spreads for each skeleton but obviously that’s going to take a little longer than planned lol! My underfell papyrus has no eye-lights, not because he’s blind but because I like it best aesthetically. I also hc he wakes up early to go to the store, but is still grumpy cause it’s 5 am…even though it’s his personal routine he did to himself🌚. Though! He wears sweats and that’s the ONLY time you’ll catch him in some sweats. His primary weapon is a sharp ended bone for easy access, he’s 6’6 with his heeled boots on, which are inspired by a certain someone. Finally, he has a stinky lazy cat named Doomfanger, I personally don’t like cats but I’d try for him,,
5,6,7.)HOO doggy I needs him😩 my uf!Gaster otherwise known as “Ego” n some background info for him and the boys when they were younger. He was the Royal Mad Scientist and very smart yet incredibly self centered, his experiments sons Sans and Papyrus stay home until he gets back after long hours and can be gone for days at a time. Though his oldest, Sans is very responsible they still wish he didn’t work his hours. Finally, before his disappearance into the core, his sons were both visiting before everything went down, Dr.Gaster, who after finally achieving SOMETHING within the core is faced with two incredibly difficult choices, he who is OBVIOUSLY MAD!!!!!??! Decides to instead leave his children in order to see the truth. This without a doubt is one of the first of many hardships young Sans and Payrus face.
8,9,10.)Last but not least a cat study page for Doomfanger since I found out I wanted to draw a cat without knowing how to draw a cat whatsoever, so I practiced!! Doomfanger is stinky cause he doesn’t like baths, lazy from lack of discipline (surprising but Edge can’t even yell at the poor thing.), and greedy from overeating, does this sound like someone we know?🌚 He has a scar across his left eye and half his fluffy tail is almost bare leaving only fluff at the end. Doomfanger doesn’t get along well with his uncle, which many find odd as they’re incredibly similar, too bad they don’t see it themselves. (Bonus Edge holding kitten Doomfanger, the beginning of a deadly friendship. And yes this one is noticeably newer than the others but it’s on the same page and fits the theme so let’s assume it was there from beginning 🌚😂)
I drew the minecraft parkour boys... but as cats!
I'm not quite satisfied with their designs though, so expect some more concrete designs in the future
Also the only reason Evbo is taller than EMF is because he's god so he got a size boost and star patterns on his fur, his champion form was smaller than EMF and he's rubbing the height difference in his face
Day 6; Things I’m Interested in!
I wanted to draw Gangle looking mischievous and Manly looking smug. No real reason.
Watching an "I Expect You To Die" playthrough and was just thinking about Mafia(Fell) Sans X Spy Reader. They were sent in to gather intel and, if possible, kill the Don. Maybe they were sent in by a rival Don, maybe there was a small subsect of a human resistance group trying to force monsters back out of their town. Maybe they were a spy for hire.
Either way, they end up finding a "conflict of interest" and either
A) Distance themselves to avoid hurting the people they love, leading to Sans thinking that he hurt them, only to find them one day beaten and almost dead because the group that hired them was pissed that they weren't getting further intel even though they were paying for a monthly salary. (They might've left a note coming clean and telling him that if they see him again, they'll be free from their contract and they can be together)
B) Delude themselves into thinking they can pull this off, only for it to blow up in their face when Sans finally finds out, and they're desperately trying to repair their relationship, telling him that they hadn't been told to become this attached to him, that they do love him. This could also lead to a situation similar to A, however instead it was Sans' henchmen attacking them and Reader asks them to give him a note where they apologize and promise to never put themselves in his line of sight again, but they did truly love him.
I can also imagine a mix of the two, where Reader is trying to warn Sans of the dangers ahead, and upon finding out, Sans kicks them out, telling them he wants nothing to do with them and never wants to see their face again. Cut out the last part because if I turn this into a fic, I don't want to spoil you guys.
Y'all ain't following for this shit but I'm gonna draw him trust 🙏
his name is spinjump
@yo00ru
Sans and Papyrus meet you, a TA, while picking up Frisk, and Sans suddenly understands the term "Meet-cute" that Alphys had always fawned over. Or was it "love at first sight?" The difference doesn't matter to him. All that matters is watching how your face crinkles as you giggle at a bad pun he made, and how your eyes fly open in shock with the classic "whoopee cushion in the hand" trick.
You spend more time around them and Sans is falling hard. You not only love space too, and love Grillby's (though you have no tab, fortunately for Grillby you were always on top of paying it), but you loved puzzles and were high energy, just like his brother.
The three of you were thick as thieves, with every home cooked meal and every late night on the phone because you couldn't sleep and every interaction making Sans fall even harder for you.
One day, during Frisk's birthday party, Sans overhears you, Alphys, Toriel, and Undyne (can it really be overhear when Undyne is only slightly quieter that Papyrus) talking. Something you said sounded like hot gossip, given the "oohs" coming from the group. Sans shortcuts slightly closer, feigning disinterest as he listens in.
He freezes when Alphys speaks.
"A crush, huh? Who's the lucky guy?"
"Or gal," Toriel interjects.
A crush? On who? His stomach twists at the though of some random guy sidling his way between the two of you and stealing you away.
"Ah, well," you start, sounding bashful. Sans doesn't even need to turn to know you're looking anywhere but at them. "You know him quite well. I'd even say you're friends with him."
Wait, really? Could it be?
"We have a lot in common, and uh..." you rush out the rest, almost too quiet for him to hear, but he was straining to hear you at this point. "He's a skeleton."
Undyne startles him with how loud her "WHAT" is, but Alphys, ever the saint, pulls her down and kisses her cheek. She's gotten bolder since surfacing. Meanwhile, Sans is on cloud nine.
He's good friends with Toriel and Alphys, even though he hasn't spoken to the latter in a while. And your shared love of bad jokes, greasy food, space, and science are definitely not lost on him. It must be him, right? A few minutes pass between you four before you finally give in, promising to confess during the Fall Festival. He's never felt like dressing up before a festival, but now he certainly does.
The festival rolls around, and he's excited. He put more effort that he usually does into his outfit, and even got you your favorite snack from Muffets and some fries from Grillby's. Despite Papyrus' complaints, his sigh was through a smile as your nerves from seeing the both of them dissipated around the sweet and salty foods.
The entire walk through the festival, Sans can't help the nervous excitement flowing through his veins. The question of when floods his system. Will you ask before the fireworks? During? Before you head home? He can't stop picturing each scenario, all of them ending with you leaning forward as you kissed him. He'd drown in your smell if he could.
Papyrus, meanwhile, had been winning carnival game after carnival game, all for the plushies your eyes lingered on for a second too long. He was so cool, Sans thought. It was great that you both got along. You both were discussing a puzzle you had bought for him, and how you had struggled with it for hours while it only took Papyrus a few minutes to solve.
Eventually, the three of you split off right before the fireworks start, and Sans is looking for you. He's finally decided that he should confess to you, before you lose the chance. He got you both caramel apples.
He spots you and Papyrus standing by the lake, sauntering over as he prepares an excuse to get Papyrus away for a few minutes.
Your hand was on Papyrus' upper arm as you told him something, turning away as you finished. He wondered what you told him.
...
Why was Papyrus leaning in so close.
Why weren't you leaning away.
...
Ah.
He stands there as he tells himself that he should be happy. His brother was so cool, and he wanted what was best for both of you. You always had more in common with Papyrus than him anyways. Papyrus would be able to keep up with you in ways Sans never could.
Sans was lazy and he never liked puzzles all that much, preferring the daily crossword over anything else. You went on runs with Papyrus, solved puzzles with him, baked with him, hell, your favorite food was spaghetti, for crying out loud. You two were made for each other.
He should be happy.
...So why was he crying?

Slapped this together after reading too many angsty romantic poems in one night and needed to get this out. Probably poorly written and for that I am sorry but the brainrot took hold.
But yeah, the idea is that Sans wants you but he loves you and Papyrus too much to even entertain the idea of breaking you two up.
Ok ok ok
Hear me out
One sided/unrequited Sans/Reader
But instead of Sans falling in love with Toriel
It’s Reader falling in love with Papyrus
I have a fanfic idea; Imagine if Y/N got turned into a monster like a cat or dog or some other animal. But Y/N is a huge furry, so this is essentially the greatest boon someone could have gotten. Bonus points if the animal Y/N gets turned into is the same species as her fursona and similar colors/ they dye their fur to match.
It could also add a unique spin on the whole "turned into a monster" trope, since then Y/N could use their new monstrous form in furry conventions, photo shoots, etc. They'd probably feel dysmorphia later too, after the "cool new body" phase passed.
This is just a loose idea that's been floating around in my head for a while.
I had to reread this 3 times before I understood what I was reading
glaze/nightshade users when the diffusion engine developers resize their artwork from 3000x3000 to 700x700 before putting it into the techno nightmare sawmill:
I was just reading "A Divorced Crybaby has Moved in Next Door" and I was thinking; what if someone wrote a fic where Reader is married to some big monster hater (who's also cheating on her because people that love to hurt people love to hurt people) and he's super neglectful and the skeleboys are lowkey making her swoon and spending all the time her husband should spend with her. Next door neighbors of course.
Like
Edge and Papyrus cooking for her and letting her cook little meals for them when her hubby is on a weeklong "business trip". (Them all cooking together??? Hello???)
Fell and Mutt unabashedly flirting with her in front of the other skeletons, making her feel attractive and desirable after her husband implies she's "let herself go" after getting married. She shuts their advances down with a simple "I'm married," but never implies she doesn't find them attractive.
Classic and Stretch telling her awful jokes while she's in the backyard, to the chagrin of the other housemates
Blue finds out where she works and escorts her home when work lets off late, lying and saying that her job is on the way to his anyways (It's 30 minutes further from their houses)
Black spending an exorbitant amount on clothes, jewelry, etc. because she's "a work of art and needs to be decorated as such", though the more visibly expensive stuff stays at his house so her husband doesn't catch on.
What if she has kids and sees the Sanses being good with kids??? Seeing Red's soft side with her 5 year old??? Blue making luncks for the kid to take to school??? Black buying them a Switch when he notices their love of Pokémon (Which, much like her clothes, has to stay at his house out of fear of their husband breaking it)???
Also imagine the sheer volume of MILF jokes Mutt and Stretch would make when she's not in the room.
And the angstiest part of them all Her husband finds out about her visits And the next time they see her over the fence
She has a fading bruise on her face and is missing a small chunk of hp.
I don't like the term 'Writer's Block' - not because it isn't real, but because the term is so vague that it's useless. Hundreds of issues all get lumped together under this one umbrella, making writer's block seem like this all-powerful boogeyman that's impossible to beat. Worse yet, it leaves people giving and receiving advice that is completely ineffective because people often don't realize they're talking about entirely different issues.
In my experience, the key to beating writer's block is figuring out what the block even is, so I put together a list of Actual Reasons why you may be struggling to write:
(note that any case of writer's block is usually a mix of two or more)
What it looks like:
You write one sentence and spend the next hour googling "synonyms for ___"
Write. Erase. Write. Rewrite. Erase.
Should I even start writing this scene when I haven't figured out this one specific detail yet?
I hate everything I write
Cringing while writing
My first draft must be perfect, or else I'm a terrible writer
Things that can help:
Give yourself permission to suck
Keep in mind that nothing you write is going to be perfect, especially your first draft
Think of writing your first/early drafts not as writing, but sketching out a loose foundation to build upon later
People write multiple drafts for a reason: write now, edit later
Stop googling synonyms and save that for editing
Write with a pen to reduce temptation to erase
Embrace leaving blank spaces in your writing when you can't think of the right word, name, or detail
It's okay if your writing sucks. We all suck at some point. Embrace the growth mindset, and focus on getting words on a page
What it looks like:
Head empty, no ideas
What do I even write about???
I don't have a plot, I just have an image
Want to write but no story to write
Things that can help:
Google writing prompts
If writing prompts aren't your thing, instead try thinking about what kind of tropes/genres/story elements you would like to try out
Instead of thinking about the story you would like to write, think about the story you would like to read, and write that
It's okay if you don't have a fully fleshed out story idea. Even if it's just an image or a line of dialogue, it's okay to write that. A story may or may not come out of it, but at least you got the creative juices flowing
Stop writing. Step away from your desk and let yourself naturally get inspired. Go for a walk, read a book, travel, play video games, research history, etc. Don't force ideas, but do open up your mind to them
If you're like me, world-building may come more naturally than plotting. Design the world first and let the story come later
What it looks like:
I know I should be writing but uugggghhhh I just can'tttttt
Writing words feels like pulling teeth
I started writing, but then I got bored/distracted
I enjoy the idea of writing, but the actual process makes me want to throw my laptop out the window
Things that can help:
Introduce stimulation: snacks, beverages, gum, music such as lo-fi, blankets, decorate your writing space, get a clickity-clackity keyboard, etc.
Add variety: write in a new location, try a new idea/different story for a day or so, switch up how you write (pen and paper vs. computer) or try voice recording or text-to-speech
Gamify writing: create an arbitrary challenge, such as trying to see how many words you can write in a set time and try to beat your high score
Find a writing buddy or join a writer's group
Give yourself a reward for every writing milestone, even if it's just writing a paragraph
Ask yourself whether this project you're working on is something you really want to be doing, and be honest with your answer
What it looks like:
I was feeling really motivated to write, but then I opened my laptop
I don't even know where to start
I love writing, but I can never seem to get started
I'll write tomorrow. I mean next week. Next month? Next month, I swear (doesn't write next month)
Can't find the time or energy
Unreasonable expectations (I should be able to write 10,000 words a day, right????)
Feeling discouraged and wondering why I'm even trying
Things that can help:
Follow the 2 min rule (or the 1 paragraph rule, which works better for me): whenever you sit down to write, tell yourself that you are only going to write for 2 minutes. If you feel like continuing once the 2 mins are up, go for it! Otherwise, stop. Force yourself to start but DO NOT force yourself to continue unless you feel like it. The more often you do this, the easier it will be to get started
Make getting started as easy as possible (i.e. minimize barriers: if getting up to get a notebook is stopping you from getting started, then write in the notes app of your phone)
Commit to a routine that will work for you. Baby steps are important here. Go with something that feels reasonable: every day, every other day, once a week, twice a week, and use cues to help you remember to start. If you chose a set time to write, just make sure that it's a time that feels natural to you- i.e. don't force yourself to writing at 9am every morning if you're not a morning person
Find a friend or a writing buddy you can trust and talk it out or share a piece of work you're proud of. Sometimes we just get a bit bogged down by criticism- either internal or external- and need a few words of encouragement
What it looks like:
I have no problems writing other scenes, it's just this scene
I started writing, but now I have no idea where I'm going
I don't think I'm doing this right
What's an outline?
Drowning in documents
This. Doesn't. Make. Sense. How do I get from this plot point to this one?!?!?! (this ColeyDoesThings quote lives in my head rent free cause BOY have I been there)
Things That Can Help:
Go back to the drawing board. Really try to get at the root of why a scene or story isn't working
A part of growing as a writer is learning when to kill your darlings. Sometimes you're trying to force an idea or scene that just doesn't work and you need to let it go
If you don't have an outline, write one
If you have an outline and it isn't working, rewrite it, or look up different ways to structure it
You may be trying to write as a pantser when you're really a plotter or vice versa. Experiment with different writing processes and see what feels most natural
Study story structures, starting with the three act structure. Even if you don't use them, you should know them
Check out Ellen Brock on YouTube. She's a professional novel editor who has a lot of advice on writing strategies for different types of writers
Also check out Savage Books on YouTube (another professional story editor) for advice on story structure and dialogue. Seriously, I cannot recommend this guy enough
What it looks like:
Everything in boredom/understimulation
Everything in intimidation/procrastination
You have been diagnosed with and/or have symptoms of ADHD/Autism
Things that can help:
If you haven't already, seek a diagnosis or professional treatment
Hire an ADHD coach or other specialist that can help you work with your brain (I use Shimmer; feel free to DM me for a referral)
Seek out neurodiverse and neurodiverse writing communities for advice and support
Try body doubling! There's lot's of free online body doubling websites out there for you to try. If social anxiety is a barrier, start out with writing streams such as katecavanaughwrites on Twitch
Be aware of any sensory barriers that may be getting in the way of you writing (such as an uncomfortable desk chair, harsh lighting, bad sounds)
What it looks like:
You have symptoms of burnout or depression
Struggling with all things, not just writing
It's more than a lack of motivation- the spark is just dead
Things that can help:
Forget writing for now. Focus on healing first.
Seek professional help
If you feel like it, use writing as a way to explore your feelings. It can take the form of journaling, poetry, an abstract reflection of your thoughts, narrative essays, or exploring what you're feeling through your fictional characters. The last two helped me rediscover my love of writing after I thought years of depression had killed it for good. Just don't force yourself to do so, and stop if it takes you to a darker place instead of feeling cathartic
