Highschool Fic update

No I haven’t started writing, I am currently writing an outline of what i want to happen but here are the ships I have planned. Also unless they are a musical only character I will be using the 1992 versions of the characters so if you haven’t seen that version you should.

Jack and David, but it’s like kinda slow burn

Jack and Kathrine, but by the start of the story they have broken up but stayed friends

Blink and Mush, obviously

Jack and Sarah, they did date prior to the story but non of Sarah’s family or the Newsies knew they were dating or that they knew each other, you’ll see how that works later

Sarah and Kathrine, we love the newsbians

Racetrack and Spot, again using the 92 versions only bc I’m a sucker for a good ‘92sies Sprace story (sorry Spralbert and Ralbert shippers)

Bumlets, Swifty, and Skittery, BUMSWIFTERY FOR LIFE

Snitch and Itey, there is no freaking way they aren’t dating they literally share a bed

Tommy Boy and Finch, don’t ask me why it’s just one of my favorites

Specs and Dutchy, yes 92 Specs this ship is so random but I love it so much

Elmer and Buttons, I LOVE THESE TWO AHH

Jojo and Mike, can’t have a story without these two

Sniper, Smalls, Hotshot, but all girls because we NEED girl power

Graves and York, gotta have some Brooklyn Newsies ofc

Newsies high school AU where they make Blood Drips as their TV Production/film club assignment and get suspended.

Modern Newsies HC’s for my AU Part: 4

Nights with the Newsies can either go two ways, everyone goes to sleep at around the same time, or just the younger Newsies then the rest are downstairs doing who knows what. Once everyone is asleep making a noise could be life or death, and by death I mean a pillow to the face or back of the head. They hate when people talk when they’re trying to sleep so if you walk through the Lodging House at night it’s dead silent and I mean dead silent. If you make a noise that isn’t controllable, like talking, many of the boys will throw pillows or mumble/yell to go back to sleep at the source of the sound. Some of them like snore or sleep talk (which is very rare but has happened) but they know who it is because of how used to it they are. Mornings aren’t any better, a lot of the boys are not morning people in the slightest.

I know this like doesn’t make any sense but it does in my head and will probably make more sense on paper.

can anyone help me find this post about how each of the newsies wake everyone up please i liked it not long ago but now i cant find it. if anyone knows what im talking about could they send it please youd be a life saver

Modern Newsies HC’s for my AU Part: 1

They all share clothes. Like dating or not they all share clothes. You’ll find like Boots wearing Snoddy’s hoodie because it’s baggy on him, or Romeo sleeping in Blink’s shirt because it’s comfortable. Unless they’ve specifically requested no one else wears it, it will be shared. Even more likely for people who share a bunk like Kid Blink and Racetrack or Jake and Snipeshooter to share clothes.

Modern Newsies HC’s for my AU Part: 5

Each Newsie has a mug that only they use. They have a cabinet in their kitchen specifically to store everyone’s mugs. Each cup is special/specific to each person, some made the one they use and others were given or bought theirs. Each mug is labeled at the bottom with the Newsies nickname and all the ones that aren’t labeled are for anyone to use.

(i thought of this while making hot chocolate and i grabbed my favorite mug and was like, huh hc time)

Snitch and Neville Longbottom look like long lost brothers and I am going to stand by it

You can’t tell me that modern day au’s of both fandoms compare the two to the movie counterparts. Specs saying Snitch looks like Neville and like George or Fred saying Neville looks like Snitch. Obviously in modern day au’s the two fandoms would be movies in the other universe.
