Wait, I just realized something

Dazai told Chuuya that he was the one who blew up his car and Chuuya responded with something like “Wait that was your doing??” and he sounded surprised.

So, if Chuuya didn’t think it was Dazai who blew up his car, who did he think did?

I find it so hard to believe that Chuuya didn't instantly suspect Dazai but everyone was like "no he left without a word, there's no way he took the time to blow up your car and nothing else" so he believed them until Dazai confirmed he was right after all.
