MC Twin AU - CALEB'S Spitfire [3]

Caleb kisses like a god.

His hands wrap around your waist firmly as his lips slide against your own, his tongue forces itself into your mouth making you blush heavily but moan softly.

Holy shit this man was wonderful at kissing! Though you couldn't help but feel a flare of jealousy rise up at the thought of him kissing other people. So you ask him, and he laughs with pure amusement. "Don't worry spitfire. You're my first and only."

If someone asks if your heart had started to beat faster at his words, you would push them into traffic.

When your sister had found out about your relationship, she had sighed and rubbed her forehead. "I owe Zayne so much money now."

"You betted against me!??"

"Well duh. Caleb literally liked, no, adored you! The only person who couldn't see it was you!"

You stared at her with confusion, nervously fiddling with your hands. "But. . . . . Aren't you mad? I thought you liked Caleb?"

A gentle smile bloomed on your sister's face and she leaned against you body, placing her head on your shoulder. "Caleb is my best friend. Nothing more alright? I'm really happy for you two! But...."

You freeze. "But what...?"

"If he hurts you and makes you cry. Best friend or not I will push him into incoming traffic."

A startled laugh escapes your lips. "Are you stealing my threats?"

MC shrugged. "They work perfectly fine."

"Make your own threats! Only I can push people into traffic!"

"Nuh uh."

"Yah uh!"

As days went by and Caleb continued to shower you with affection, and MC continued to giggle and tease the two of you, your guards began to slowly break and crumble down. Ok, you weren't the MC, but he still liked you! That was. . . . .that was amazing!

Every now and then you couldn't help but break out into giggles at the reminder that Caleb liked you. Not her, but you.

She could keep the other men, you wanted your red flag boyfriend!

Though, it might not just be him that's a red flag. You might be one as well? Did that bother you? A bit yes, but Caleb seemed to enjoy it a lot.

It happened on a typical winter day, the cold air making you shiver as you walked side by side with Caleb, who finally got some time off to visit you. He quickly wrapped his arms around your shoulder and dragged you closer to his warm body, making you smile. "You cold spitfire?"

"I hate winter." You mumble, pouting when you felt his chuckle. "Stop laughing at me or I won't kiss you ever again!"

"Oh nooo, can you ever forgive me?" He places a kiss on your forehead, and your face grows hot. "Look, we're at the cafe now. Let's head in and get you something warm." He guides you towards Destiny Cafe (when you realized the name, you had begun to cackle like a madwoman. So Destiny Cafe existed here and wasn't just a game mechanic!) and pushed the door open, the warm air making you let out a sigh of relief. "Good yeah?"

"Hmmmmm..." You hum, allowing him to guide your body to a seat. He ruffles your hair and sits across you, placing his chin on his palm as he gazes at you with so much affection that your face heats up even more. "What? What's on my face?"

"Beauty." He murmurs, and you squeak. "Pure beauty-"

"Hi! Welcome to Destiny Cafe! May I take your order?"

The moment is ruined by a high perky voice, and you turn your gaze to stare at a young girl with a huge smile on her face. She stares and Caleb and tucks some of her hair behind her ear, fluttering her eyebrows at him. "I'll be your server today, my name is May. So, may I take your order?"

Caleb turns to meet your gaze. "What would you like spitfire?"

You meet May's annoyed gaze head on and a small satisfied smirk forms on your lips. "Just some hot chocolate, that's all."

"I'll have the same." Caleb looks at May making her bloom. "Of course! I'll be right back!" She smiles at him and walks away, and your eyes catch the way her hips swayed with her movement, making your eye twitch.

When she finally is gone from your sight, you turn your gaze to Caleb and get up, pushing him to the edge of the booth so you could sit next to him. You drag him down by the back of his head into a kiss, and bite down on his lip, smiling when a bit of blood hits your taste buds. You know you shouldn't be jealous, Caleb had said time and time again that he liked you. But. . . . but you couldn't just help yourself.

"S-Spitfire-"

You snap back to reality and push him away, your face red. "Oh my goodness I'm so sorry! Did I bite you too hard!? Holy shit I don't know what got over me!"

You watch as he uses his thumb to wipe away some of the blood away from his lips, a smile on his face. "It's fine it's fine! In fact, I enjoyed it very much."

. . . . . Was he a masochist or something!?

You shouldn't be surprised though, this was Caleb you were talking about. Still, you dart you gaze away and mumble out a "Sorry..."

A hand cups your cheeks, and Caleb lifts your head to stare at him. "I said it's fine spitfire, really!" He leans down to kiss you himself, and your cheeks heat up as one of his hands moves down to slip underneath your skirt. The only reason why the two of you part away is because you hear footsteps come towards your booth. Still, you make sure you place a small kiss on your neck, your lipstick leaving a stain very visible on his skin.

You watch as May glances at your flushed faces, and at the lipstick mark on Caleb's neck, and your heart thrums with pride at the small scowl that she wasn't quick enough to wipe away. "Here are your drinks, enjoy yourself!" She says, then rushes away.

As the two of you eventually leave the cafe, you notice that Caleb wasn't wearing his scarf anymore. "Aren't you cold Mr Pilot?" You question, raising a brow at him as you walk together hand in hand.

He gives you a smirk and point at the lipstick stain. "I want everyone to see this. To show who my girlfriend is."

Your face heats up again, and you jerk your head away. Still, a small smile forms on your lips at his words. Oh goodness, you weren't going to let this boy leave.

Even when he fakes his death and becomes Colonel, you would find him and keep him by your side.

Many. . . . Ok only a few months to be honest, pass by, and the infamous explosion happens. You move in with MC finally, mainly to make sure she doesn't do anything stupid, and mainly because even when you knew he was alive, you missed Caleb, and she was the only one who understood your pain.

You stared at your phone every day, hoping that he would send an impromptu text, a 'Hey spitfire! I'm alive! Come find me :D'

But nothing. Nothing pops up.

One day after work though, you stroll around the city in the dark, one headphone in your ear and your phone in your hand. A sudden notification freezes you, and after a few seconds of silence, you rush to follow it's instructions.

"Spitfire, five blocks ahead of you, there's a black car with the license plate 367 LKN. Get in, and when you arrive at the airport, I'll be there waiting for you. Don't be late.

"Pretty Dragon, do you have a name?"

". . . Does it matter?"

"Well, since I'm officially a damsel in distress, I should at least know what my cager's name is no? It's only fair!"

The young woman gives the dragon a dopey smile, raising her legs up so she could place her chin on it as she watched him. The dragon's tail idly swayed behind him, until a somewhat familiar word left his lips. "Stayrus."

"Stayrus...." She murmured, allowing the familiar words to fill her mind for the first time in years. She hadn't heard that name since █████. "Stayrus....I like it." A soft sigh leaves her lips and she stretches her legs out. "It's a bit hard to pronounce though. Can I call you a nickname?"

The dragon rises, and his unseen wings stir up gusts around him. "Call me whatever you want. But don't expect me to respond."

A grin grew on her lips. "In that case, Sylus, can I play with the silver tiara I spotted back there?"

"If that's what you wish."

The next time you woke up, you found yourself on a bed.

A very, very, comfortable bed.

You blink up at the ceiling, confusion clouding your mind. What happened? You remember being kidnapped, you remember finding out that it was Luke and Kieran who had kidnapped you, you met Sylus.

. . . . Wait.

You met Sylus.

Meaning. . . . . . .you were currently at Onychinus's base.

You sit up in a panic, wide eyes glancing around the room. Black walls, dark bedsheets, a soft light shining down on you, was that a gun on your bedside???

Yep. This was definitely Sylus's room.

Holy shit, how did this happen?

You hum and place your hand underneath your chin in thought. Ok, so, what even happened before all this? You were on your way home, you wanted to get a little midnight snack, someone grabbed your arm in a flash, and boom you were kidnapped.

What in the cliche gods was this!?

You groan and fall back on the bed. Why you? Did Sylus kidnapping you mean you had an Aether Core in your heart? That didn't make any sense though, you didn't have a heart condition. . . . .last time you checked at least.

Wait. Didn't he say something before you passed out again?

"Hello, darling. I'm glad to see you again."

A giggle starts to bubble out of your lips, and a dopey smile forms on your face. He called you darling! He called you darling!!!

. . . Why? He said you had met before, when? You would have remembered meeting a stunning man like him before.

So . . . . what in the world was going on?

"Hello, darling."

"Holy FUCK-" you yelp, snapping your eyes open to sit up straight again, turning your head to stare at the white haired man who was leaning against the door. Ok, so you had a few options. Option 1, act scared and hope he leaves. Option 2, act like MC.

. . . . Option 2 was a bad idea, so never mind.

Option 3! . . . . Flirt with him.

Yes yes, option 3 also wasn't a good idea, but honestly, maybe it was because you knew so much about Sylus, that the scare factor has worn off the moment you realized where you were. Also, he couldn't even kill you because you were MC's twin! Yay sibling perks!

So you make a smirk grow on your face and give Sylus a wink. "Hello, handsome kidnapper~"

This will be an interesting interaction.

Shadow Milk wasn't sure how much time had passed.

Days? Weeks? Months? Years!?

He didn't care really. All he cared about was that He Was Tricked.

"How the fuck did he do it!?" The Beast Cookie mumbled, raking his hand through his hair, the eyes on his locks closing instinctively so he wouldn't poke them. "I . . . . I completely outsmarted him! I was the one in charge! Me, me , ME!"

He suddenly paused, more memories hitting his head. 'Sometimes, you need the darkness to see the light.' rang in his head as a picture of a card for an Awakened Pure Vanilla Cookie, literally identical to the cookie he had ran away from, flashed in his eyes, and a scream of pure rage escaped his mouth. "WITCH DAMM IT!"

So, everything he had experienced, everything he had faced, all of his ideas, all of his plans, capturing Pure Vanilla and watching as he turned into Truthless Recluse . . . It . . . Was. . . . All . . . . SCRIPTED OUT!????

"AGGGHHHHH! STUPID DEVELOPERS! STUPID WITCHES! STUPID BEASTS? STUPID ANCIENTS! STUPID FUCKING PURE VANILLA COOKIE!'"

Shadow Milk slowly blinked before a smile grew on his face. "I should write that down somewhere."

Back to his original thought, what could he do? Everything had played out the same way it did in game, so could he even do anything?

Shadow Milk hummed in thought and pushed himself to float in the air, then moved his body upside down as he closed his eyes. "Decisions decisions.....Ah! I got it!"

It was a beautiful plan! A marvelous plan!

With a wide grin on his face, Shadow Milk flipped his body right side up and allowed his feet to touch the ground, walking towards one of the few mirrors that didn't break. "Hmmm," he hummed, cupping his cheeks. "If I make my hair a little bit shorter....ah! This dress looks dashing on me? Oohh what about this eye shadow!"

A few minutes later, the female cookie twisted and turned as she appraised herself. "Beautiful! Well, off course I'm beautiful I'm well, me!" She proclaimed, placing her hands on her hips. "Silly Vanilly, did you really think I'll let you go? Never."

Apparently Lads players in CN are organizing to not spend the first 3 days of the banner. Not only for Sylus and Caleb, but also because Infold is separating the pulls rewards and being greedy, if player let this pass they will accept this as the fandom not caring about them separating cosmetics from outfits and making rewards more difficult to obtain in future banners.

For the upcoming banner (Tomorrow's catch-22), Infold separated the hair from the outfit so people need to pull more (85 for the first) for a cosmetic that should be included in the crate, like Caretaker banner with the butler outfit, ears and tail.

Imagine being Hitomi.

You love a strict but well off life with your parents, and rarely get as much freedom as your two best friends. Things are normal, you and your friend have a crush on the same boy, but you don't mention it so things don't feel awkward, but that's really the most notable thing that happens to you.

Until suddenly, you wake up in a factory surrounded by a bunch of strangers and told you were "sleepwalking".

Of course you think: "that's odd," but this probably supernatural experience has probably made you much more cognizant of how anything could happen, and you might as well confess your crush before something dangerous happens to you.

You muster all of you emotional maturity you can muster(You're a middle schooler) and have a serious talk with your friend about your crush, and even allow her to confess first cause you want to be fair.

Eventually, when your friend doesn't confess, you do, and he says yes! You're happy, but also a bit worried at how awkward things may be between you and your friend. But hey, it's just a boyfriend right? Surely you'll smooth things over when you see her tomorrow.

But she doesn't come to school.

Every day she's absent, you get more nervous. Did she run away from home? I'd she just sick? Why isn't my other friend who is much closer to her than me saying anything about it? Why is she so sad? Did something happen to her? Is it MY fault? But it couldn't be that bad right? It was just a crush. You handled everything with poise and grace and maturity, exactly as you were taught, so everything will be fine, right?

Then one day she turns up dead.

Obviously you start blaming yourself, cause of course you would. You start hating yourself, regretting even confessing in the first place. But now you're left with a boyfriend who you feel like you HAVE to be with no matter how unhappy you may be or neglectful he is of your feelings, cause you're best friend died for it, you know? If you break up, then she'd have died for nothing, right?

Idk, I just think Hitomi's situation is very sad in the show.

You couldn't believe it, but you had been kidnapped.

You weren't even scared. Okay, that was a lie. You were terrified, but you were also really annoyed.

And flattered.

Well, being kidnapped means you must mean a lot to someone, right? So much that your kidnapper would think to make that person panic, they would kidnap you. How sweet!

But still so annoying. Why you?! What could your kidnapper possibly gain from kidnapping you?

You weren't rich, nor did you have a rich friend or partner. Information? Sure, you knew this world was a video game, but that didn't mean you knew everything.

You pause your thoughts as your kidnapper removes the blindfold they had placed around your eyes. You blink, then deadpan. "You have got to be kidding me."

You couldn't believe it. Of all the people to have kidnapped you, it had to be the twins!?

Meaning, it had to be the boss of Onychinus!??

You stare at the twins in masks before you, then let out a long sigh. Now that you knew who had kidnapped you, you just couldn't find it within yourself to be scared at all. "Quick question." You begin, shifting in your chair and cocking your head to the side. "Did you mean to kidnap me, or did you mean to kidnap MC?"

The twins look at each other. " . . . . Are you not MC?" one of them, who you assume is Luke, asked, and a loud groan leaves you. "God. Damm it!"

Sometimes, you really hated the fact that you and the MC were identical twins, because sometimes you ended up in shitty situations like these!

Unbelievable! Truly unbelievable!

"Hey, are you not MC?"

"But she looks just likes her . . . . does that mean MC has a twin or something?"

"Why wouldn't the Boss Man tell us then?"

"Idiot, what if MC didn't tell Boss Man that she had a twin? So how would he know?"

What were you witnessing? Did they act like this in game? What the fuck was going on?

You couldn't help but watch with morbid fascination as the twins continued to argue back and forth with each other. Did all twins do this? Did you and MC do this? You probably did, but is this what it was like to experience it?

The three of you freeze as the door opens, and you watch a very familiar, very attractive man walk in. Deep red eyes, beautiful white hair, it was Sylus in the flesh, alright.

Ok [Name], breathe in, and breathe out. Sure, the man who made you actually focus on the game is before you. Sure, the man whose myth you sobbed over is breathing the same air as you. And sure, the man you wasted hours upon hours grinding to get all his cards is now walking towards you, but that didn't matter.

All that mattered was getting out of this place alive.

Because you weren't MC, who had half of his heart. You were [Name]. a simp who could probably die if you weren't careful. And quite frankly, even dying can be expensive.

Damm this shitty economy. You couldn't wait for Philos.

You shift in your chair as Sylus stops in front of you, his red gaze pinning you down. ". . . You're not MC," he murmurs, a smile forming on his lips.

You blink. "Holy shit you can tell."

"Wait, so MC actually has a twin?"

"Huh, so we aren't the only twins here anymore!"

"How cool is that?"

A dark chuckle leaves Sylus's lips, and he leans down to grasp your chin, bringing your face closer to his. "You look like her," he continues, his thumb rubbing your chin, "But there's a tiny little mole underneath your eye. Right . . . . there."

You could only stare up at Sylus with slightly wide eyes, trying to shove down the simping part of you. No! This was a serious moment! Down girl! Down! "What . . . . what are you - wait, who even are you!?"

He merely laughs. "Hello, darling. I'm glad to see you again."

You pause. What? What did he mean by that?

See you again?? Had the two of you met before?? The fuck??
