you know kaiser better than himself, and kaiser finally figures out that he knows you just as well
kaiser wakes like he’s gently being pulled out of water. he blinks a few times to rid himself of the drowsiness, though he can’t seem to move with the weight on his chest. you come into view through his half-lidded eyes, the outline of your form glowing with the light coming from the television. your arm is draped over his stomach to mindlessly trace the inked vines and thorns that climb up his skin, your touch so soft yet mildly electric.
“tickles,” he mumbles, shifting slightly to pull his other arm out from under you. it’s gone numb by now, and he briefly shakes it before setting it down on the top of your head.
you pull your attention away from the screen to look at him, smiling when his palm strokes down the back of your head and the length of your spine. “did you have a good nap?”
“was i out for long?” he says, voice still slightly hoarse.
you hum, the reverberations of your ribcage extending to his. as the sleepiness wears off, your glistening skin comes into focus. “i finished two episodes while you slept.”

"Ramen," You moan, face flush and nearly stumbling over yourself clumsily "Oh my god, I want ramen. And I wan' a popsicle. Fuck it's so cold."
Sae puts an arm out to keep you from stumbling, but you regain your strength before you notice. He sighs, as you confidently march down the sidewalks and turn into the nearest 7/11.
He hasn't seen you like this in the three years he's been under your management. You're a professional, and you always hold your drinks well. Tonight was one of his mandatory public events he needed to keep sponsorship, and you went as his plus one. He's back in Japan only for this, and he'll leave the day after tomorrow.
You were well-behaved for the entire night, but the minute you got in the limousine - your words were slurring asking the driver to take you to the closest bar so you could party.
Sae doesn't usually worry and fuss over people like this, except for Rin on the occasion. It's just that it's you, and he's never really seen you in this state. He's never going to claim being a good guy, but even he has enough of a conscious to do this. To stop you? No. But to make sure you don't get into anything you'd regret.
So, he's following you. He's still in his suit but he has his security nearby just in case and to make sure there's no paparazzi.
It's also a little funny seeing you drunk. There's an apathetic college student at the counter who doesn't even look up when you walk in. You don't seem to care though, rifling through the snack isles with a hazy look on your face and no awareness of your surroundings. Every few minutes you hiccup, remembering he's here.
"Do you want anythin'?" You say, only vaguely aware of what's going on. He stares at you.
"Can't."
"Fooey," You say, and Sae has to keep himself from laughing "Jus' a lil. I won't tell anyone. Scouts honor."
"Why do you want me to have some in the first place?"
"It's fun to share," You say, giving him a heart with both of your hands, ramen tucked under your arm "Don't wanna eat alone. Please."
"I've never seen you this drunk before."
"Don't usually drink a lot," You say, going to back to stare at snacks with a thoughtful look on your face "But. Ugh. Y'know?"
"Ugh?"
You nod emphatically.
"So super ugh. Anyway. Have ramen with me? It can be healthy if we get you an egg, I think."
"I'm not eating the pre-made eggs. But fine,"
"Yaayy. Thank you."
"And I'm paying for it." He says, not turning around to let you protest. You whine a little behind him, a quiet and thoughtful nooo that he has another good laugh at. He'd be amiss to let you pay, especially since he makes much more than you.
That and the fact he's trying to confess his feelings. It doesn't seem very romantic to do otherwise.
It doesn't take any effort to grab up the stuff you've secured in your arms. The cashier rings it out quietly, not paying much attention at all. He only makes an impressed face when Sae pulls out his black card.
When the ramen is finally paid for, he takes his out of the bag and hands it to you. And you scurry over to the hot-water station and microwave, where he follows suit. He looks away for one minute, and hears you yell. You've burned yourself slightly on the electric kettle.
He sighs, stepping in. He flicks your forehead with his thumb and forefinger.
"Oi. Go sit before you do something stupid."
You fumble, protesting for a minute about the fact you can do it but again - it doesn't take much effort to redirect you to your set. You rest your feet on the place for them on your stool, swishing back and forth. Sae reads the instructions, making each ramen and returning. He grabs your ice cream from the bag and places it in the nearby cooler so it doesn't melt.
He watches you stare at your ramen while it cooks, a pair of wooden chopsticks sitting ontop. He just barely stops himself from teasing you about being impatient. You place your elbows on the table in front, drowsy and huffing - glancing over at him until he tells you it's been enough time.
"Should be done. Don't burn your tongue."
"Woo!" You cheer, tearing off the top part off, chopsticks in hand. You look pleased as you eat, not hesitating to shovel as much as you can into your mouth.
Sae eats too, though probably a little less enthused. The ramen is good. It's not easy to find good instant stuff like this abroad and he hasn't had it in a long time.
"Oh, I feel better. Eating... it fixes everything,"
"What exactly were you feeling bad about?" He asks between bites. You open the soda you bought and drink it down, before wiping your mouth.
"Ma wants me to get married soon," You say, with all the annoyance. He stops chewing "Which is sooo stupid. Says she ain't getting any younger so I should start looking. Keeps setting me up on blind dates."
"...You don't want to get married?"
You sigh.
"Mm, no. 's not like that. Just that," You put your chopsticks down, elbows on the table - chin resting on your palms "Want it to happen a more naturally. You're gonna make funna me if I keep talkin"
"I won't this time."
You snort with laughter, before glancing over at him.
"If ya say so," You turn yourself slightly, looking around before giggling "I want it to be love. Stupid right? Least for me."
"Why would that be stupid? Isn't that pretty common?"
"Hn. Yeah, maybe. But I dunno. Who's out there to fall for me naturally, y'know. I don't wanna force it is all. Just want it happen without me havin' ta chase it," You say, thoughtfully, leaning back but not falling "I work hard for everythin'. Just one time, I thought - I wish it'd fall into my lap."
For a minute he sees your usual self. For a minute, Sae is shocked by the feelings he's experiencing. He's always known it. Felt it, lingering in the back of his mind. He knew it intrinsically like some kind of base instinct.
But hearing you talk, the usual smile and level eyes about something so important makes him really feel every extent. For a minute Sae thinks, he probably doesn't just like you.
It'd be nice, yknow. To see the look on your face when it does really just fall into your lap.
"Yeah, you're right. That's pretty stupid."
"Hey, c'mon. You just said—"
"Not wanting to work for it when you're married to your job is fair."
"Are you tryin' to console me? That's not—"
"So," He says, pausing to glance at you "Tell your mom you're seeing someone."
"I don't wanna lie to my Ma."
"It's not a lie." He says, straight-faced and finishing the last of his ramen before turning to you "Go out with me."
obsessed with bed.. i love bed. obsessed with pillows blankets and such literally love sleeping
hi guys. valentine’s day is coming up and i have no one. i’m gonna cry myself to sleep 😭😭 anywho today i thought a lot about rin. i’m starting to feel like a homie hopper 😭
no warnings, featuring rin
itoshi rin is a shitty boyfriend on the surface. he seldom gives you attention when he’s watching soccer matches, and he really just doesn’t spend time with you. but in truth he just gets so nervous around you that he can’t even talk to you sometimes.
itoshi rin who hugs you whenever you ask. although his eyes are glued on the tv while he’s studying the techniques of other players his arms are open for you. and if you bother him hard enough he’ll pause the video and give you a kiss, but it’s hard to get him annoyed because everything you do gets him nervous, not irritated.
itoshi rin who likes to call you by your first name, he thinks it holds more meaning but in reality he just can’t bring himself to call you ‘pookie-bear’ like you suggested. when he’s feeling super bold he calls you babe, but never out loud, he’d die of shame.
itoshi rin who likes to be held by you when you sleep together or nap. he feels secured by your presence and likes the feeling of being held. although sometimes he gets anxious and hugs you a bit too tight, but it’s hard to complain because he is often too busy with his own thoughts
itoshi rin who tries his hardest to make food for you. unlike his brother he has basic housewife skills, he can cook, clean, whatever but he can’t make elaborate dishes. they always turn out tone a little messy but you can tell he made them with love because even if it isn’t the best your pans are cleaner than they were the day before.
itoshi rin who likes to buy matching couple merch. matching hoodies, necklaces, bracelets, socks, even underwear if he can find it. he likes to match with you because while he’s away he finds comfort in having things that you have.
itoshi rin who tries to listen instead of offering solutions to your problems right away. he’s begun to pick up on how your mood is affected by his responses, he knows that you get more upset when he proposes solutions and that you’re more likely to calm down if he just listens instead.
itoshi rin who doesn’t like to waste his time willy nilly but lays around with you. if you don’t let him escape from bed on the weekends he’ll stay with you the whole day. he doesn’t mind it because in his head sometimes he has to put himself first and spend time with you.
itoshi rin who has a physical album of you in his room sandwiched between his mattress and the bed frame so you’ll never find it. he keeps all the pictures from your dates in there, as well as important information like anniversary dates or things you like.
itoshi rin who sends you pictures of his feet because one time you asked for toe pics as a joke and he sent them for real. so now he just sends you them whenever he feels like it.
itoshi rin who knows how to paint nails and do basic nail art because he knows you like to have pretty nails. sometimes he’ll match with you, but while you have a whole set he might only have it on his pinkie or thumb.
itoshi rin who is surprisingly patient with you when attempting to teach you how to play soccer because he wants fo share what he loves with you. he doesn’t yell at you when you completely miss the goalpost, nor does he mock you for being bad at dribbling, but if it does peeve him he’ll yell at the blue lock boys and never at you.
itoshi rin who keeps all his promises because he will not be a liar like a certain someone you both know. if he says he’ll be there, he will be there. although sometimes if he says he won’t be there he shows up anyway because who’s gonna stop him?
cozy taru…
okay but like what do we think about tutor!karasu who literally HATES being a tutor. like he hates it so much bc he thinks he’s too good for it 💀 is only in it because it’ll look good on his uni applications
he hates coming in every thursday so so much— one day though, they change his schedule and he has to come in on wednesday where he runs into you!! and he fucking hates you too 🤷♀️
you’re really smart, and you’re probably a bit smarter than him, so why are you even here? the answer he would expect is same as him, for job applications or whatever. but when he asks? you say it’s because you love tutoring. karasu is like.. pause.. what?
he doesn’t get it. he doesn’t get you. he’s so confused by why you willingly choose to surround yourself with idiots. it’s sickening and he thinks you deserve better— he thinks you should hang out with him instead
so karasu keeps coming in on wednesdays to tutor with you, consistently trying to convince you to quit— until one day he realises that for the first time, he’s actually looking forward to work

The summer heat slides in through every nook and creek making its way to your body, not even the summer uniform can help with this kind of day. You fan your shirt as the bell rings to signal for lunch break to commence. You and your friends sit together in the classroom, not bothering to find a seat outside. You all take turns to speak about various subjects like boys, girls, classes and home life.
“Can you believe it? We are already seniors” One of your friends says, making you nearly choke at the thought of it. Realization finally hits that next year you will start college and will have to get your life straight.
“(L/N) you okay?” They each ask as they see you stand up from your seat, lunch unfinished.
“Yeah, I just need a breather” you laugh nervously “keep on without me, I will be back.” You check the change in your pocket and decide to head for the vending machines for a nice refreshing drink. As soon as you pass the door to the outside you immediately regret your decision, pondering if a small cola could help with this blazing heat. As you decide on what to choose you remember that the football field is just right next to you. Your anxiety has been better taking into account that you didn't break into a fit of uneven breathing nearly needing to get taken to the hospital. You shake your head as you leave those thoughts of old days behind you and focus on getting your much deserved drink
“Bam!” A piercing sound jolts you awake as you look for the source of the sound. Someone was out on the football field, you don’t even need to guess who it might be. Tabito Karasu, the ace of your highschool, a football fanatic, is the kind of guy who will practice in the middle of his lunch break on the hottest day of summer. You have never spoken to him, too afraid to come across his fan club that he obviously has even though Karasu himself isn't really keen on it.
But you have been to his football games, they are always a fun meet up space for your friends and you to look at the boys and do some light hearted talking. None in your group, including you, know a thing about the sport, like rules and other things but it’s always fun to just cheer for your school and see the other school lose sometimes even five to zero. You come back to the present to see Karasu practicing his shots. A gush of cold wind bursts through your warm face as the player does a beautiful kick and you widen your eyes.
“Amazing…” You whisper barely audible to even yourself but it seems you accidentally said it quite loud, Karasu clearly notices it as he turns to you and winks, wiping the sweat off his forehead. You frown as heat takes over your cheeks, you hide on the side of the vending machine, hoping he didn't see, hear or winked at you. You hear him laugh and say something you can’t really comprehend as you grab your drink and start to crawl back to your class, too shy to show your face to him.
“(L/N)?” Two legs come to your view and you look up to see your friend looking a little distressed at you.
“Hey…” you show her a nervous smile.
“Seriously!” Your friend smacks her leg while laughing hysterically after hearing what just happened to you. She actually came down to the machines also wanting a drink and came across you crawling on the first floor and scaring the first years.
“It’s not that funny! I’m such an idiot!” you bury your hands in your face, now fully aware of your ridiculous reaction.
“God, I wish I was there to see it! Someone should've caught it on camera!” She continues laughing, grabbing her stomach this time since it started to hurt. To that you only whine wanting to crawl underneath a rock.
“Do you like him?” She finally calms down as she wipes a tear from her eye.
“No, I was just caught off guard” you say, not even needing to think about it, you know clearly that you do not have romantic feelings for Karasu. Your friend looks at you as she raises a brow and you smack her shoulder as you return to class when the bell rings.
When the final bell of the day rings you tell your friends to go on without you, giving the excuse that you forgot your pencil case. You carefully walk to the football field, making sure the team has already left and there is no one in sight. You look around as you start thinking this was a really stupid idea, you don’t even like football. However, just as you were thinking that, you spot a ball in the field and feel magnetized to it. You leave your bag on the benches as you slowly walk towards the object in a curiosity you never knew you had. You turn the ball a bit with your feet before taking it to the air.
“One, two, three, fo…”you whisper as you manage to hit the ball in the air three times but by the fourth it escapes your feet. You sigh, you could never get past three touches.
“So you're the cutie who was watching me during lunch” you hear a voice behind you causing you to nearly jump from fright. Karasu is right behind you, the question in your mind is how did you not notice his presence? “You have to move your other leg, you know that right?” You look down at your legs when you hear him say that, partly to hide the embarrassment from earlier in the day and that someone saw you try to do some football kicks.
“Let me” he takes the football from your feet and starts kicking it from one foot to the other and finishes with a ‘around the world’. You clap your hands amazed at his skills.
“That was really cool” you confess to him and he quirks a brow to you with a puzzled look.
“That was impressive to you?” You nod enthusiastically and he closes his eyes as if thinking for a while on what to say “go to the goal zone, stand where you want to” you do as he says, curious as to what he has up his sleeve.
“Here?” You ask him as you station yourself closer to the pole on the left than the one on the right.
“Yeah, however you want to, now where do you want me to score?” He asks as he takes the ball and dribbles a little to gain more distance from the goal.
“Here” you stretch one arm to touch the left pole and point to the area between your left arm and the floor, curious to see if he will actually fulfill your request. Karasu puts the ball on his desired spot before backing away a little. You were pretty calm but only when you saw Karasu run up to the ball do you immediately regret listening to him, you could end up really hurt if the sounds you heard before were anything to go by.
"Wait-!" You try stopping him but before your plea can reach Karasu's ears, the ball was shot to where you exactly pointed at. It actually takes you a full minute before moving your body. You blink slowly as you see the ball against the net behind you and turn to face Karasu who is approaching you with a cocky smile. You begin to clap yet again being left speechless entirely. This man's talent is something else and you can only watch from far away in awe.
"How was that?" He cranes his neck into a proud stand but you cannot reply, you are too blown away so you merely smile with a hint of happiness. Karasu seems to be a little confused, perhaps expecting a shower of compliments and praises. Which you do after gaining courage and the ability to do so.
"I have no words...that was..." you gesture with your hands vaguely as you start walking back to the benches to grab your bag and Karasu follows after you shortly.
"Amazing? Impressive? Jaw dropping?" He asks as he raises his head and you only nod extremely fast to all of the words he's saying as he releases a chuckle.
"Are you heading for the train station?" You ask shyly when you pass the school gates.
"Yeah, I need to go to the store before if you don't mind" to which you have no problem with, no offense to your friends, but sometimes hanging out with different people is good for you and you have missed out on getting to know someone. Laughing at Karasu's classmates' shenanigans and hearing him laugh as he calls you boring for your interests makes you feel some sort of way, even if it's unbridled rage, it's something you didn't know you needed. With the sun completely set, comes the night time as the street lamps light up and the stores turn on their luminous decoration to attract customers.
"Right here, wait for a bit" he stops you as he jumps on top of the elevated ground the store is on and you lean on a lamp pole with your bag in your hands as you wait for your new acquired friend. When you hear the buzzing of the door opening you look back and see Karasu with two popsicles in his hands.
"Which one, I didn't know what flavor you wanted" he gives you a cheeky grin as he shows you the options.
"Then, the strawberry one, please" you reach out for the ice cream and he hands it to you.
"Great, I like lemon better", he smiles as you both open the packages and hum in delight of the refreshing flavor to your warm bodies. The night air cooling you after a long day of school is exactly what you needed. Passing by the street vendors, you comment if you should buy something for him to pay him back for the ice cream.
“Next time, let’s go on a date and you will pay me back~” he grins showing you his teeth and you have to look away so as to not let your mind get clogged by such a sweet image.
“Then, how about an arcade?” you ask shyly, too afraid of rejection but not wanting to get this chance to go by.
“Sweet, I wanted to try a new game that came out” he agrees and you sigh in relief not sure if you could actually handle being rejected by one of the prettiest guys in school. You walk a little more before finally arriving at the station, popsicle sticks long discarded as the train arrives exactly on time. You sit on the bench a little tired from the day as Karasu sits next to you closing his eyes. You have been talking the entire time here and now that you both are finally quiet instead of being awkward it actually feels nice and comforting.
"One final question" he finally speaks up and you hum to acknowledge him "will you cheer me on for my next game?"
"Of course I will" you hide your face from him but you know he's grinning like a fool and you just have to close your eyes, hoping that image of him will fade away from your mind.
"Then," he gets up as the train starts to slow down, this must be his stop, even though you are a tad disappointed, you just knew he wouldn't be with you until forever "I'll see you then, cutie~."
"Bye" you wave at him, holding your laughter in as to what he just said, the next time you were with him you should definitely correct him so as to not call you such an absurd nickname. But barely did you know that Karasu had actually been scouted for a new football project and that his next game would change the course of sports’ history forever.
