How I Imagine Canon Hawks Vs. Fanon Hawks Would React To You Confessing Your Feelings To Them, But They

I'm about done with chapter 7 but I keep getting distracted, my friend decided to read some Wendy's fanfiction aloud while I was writing and now I'm so confused. Then they were talking about league of legends fanfics and now I'm invested in some of them. HELP?!?!

Hawks who isn't into sports, but some how knows everything about them. Turns out he is really good at Baseball with a world record fast ball that broke the batter's bat, and almost killed the umpire. Now Hawks is banned from playing pitcher whenever he is invited to join in Baseball events.

Imagine if when Hawks apologized about his name, father, and killing Twice, saying how he was forced to do so under the commission, as it was his task. The people instead of resenting him, felt bad for him because he was forced to do things he didn't want to do, and was forced to keep his true identity a secret from the public. From which we know, he loves his fans, and truely loves his job of being a hero, which all the more hurts him that he has to lie to the public and keep secrets from the people that rely and believe in him the most.

Where was I going with this post? Idk, just kinda Hawks-dumping rn.

F.Hawks: Oh come on, can't you forgive me just this once?

C.Hawks: You let Dabi escape.

F.Hawks: I don't see anything wrong with that.

C.Hawks: He is a villain. A murderer! He doesn't care for anyone other than himself!

F.Hawks: That's not true, he cares for some people

C.Hawks: Oh? And how would you know? Did you talk over a cup of tea and become friends?

F.Hawks: Yes, actually.

C.Hawks: What.

C.Hawks: Please tell me you were talking to Fanon Dabi, mistaking him for Canon Dabi?

F.Hawks: F.D. isn't usually up til noon. I had this conversation with Canon before I let him escape.

C.Hawks: I'm arresting you.

While taking out my dog and thinking about Hawks, I ended up fighting a tree.

Whenever I re-watch the 3rd MHA movie, I like to think that Hawks is fast, but like, inhumanely fast. So fast that he can dodge literal gunfire and take down the enemies with ease. BECAUSE HE FUCKING DOES! He moves so fast that he is unharmed as he fights on the ground and still keeps going. Without his wings btw, because his feathers are busy searching, so ye. Hawks is fast, but like, inhumanely fast that it's scary.

So if you read chapter 5, you know who he is.

I felt like drawing him, so I did. #Spoilers for chapter 5. And when I wrote that his hands are big, I wasn't joking. His talons are huge so to accommodate for that, his hands had to be as well. He has to be careful when he grabs things and digs around in his pockets for stuff. He does file his talons down on a weekly basis, but they grow back to full length in about 3 days if he doesn't. He is a gentle giant with terrible social skills. Will he reappear? I don't know, just wanted to add him in cuz I enjoyed his design and wanted to see how others feel about him.

if you like something, reblog it. Help the artist get their work out there in front of more people. Share the joy that it brought you. 

if you want more of it, support it. This can be via commissions, reblogs, recommending the artist to other people, shouting in the tags, or sending the artist asks/messages. 

if you hate it, keep scrolling. Keep the hate in a message window with a friend, not in the artist’s notes. 

if you want to use it, ask permission. Artwork is beautiful and you want to show it off. But please ask the artist before you throw it into your header or your icon. 

if you use it, give credit. And not just a post where you say “Do you like my new icon? X made it!”. Put it in your blog description, that way when someone rolls around your blog three months from now, they also know where your icon/header came from. 

Fanfic

if you like something, reblog it. Help the author get their work out there in front of more people. Share the joy that it brought you.

if you want more of it, support it. Kudos are fine, but if you want more of the thing you like, you should comment. Subscribe to the story or the author. Send them a message about how much you like what they wrote. 

if you read it, kudos it. Or give it a thumbs up. And this is just if you managed to get all the way to the end. If you finished the story and you actually liked it? Comment and reblog. 

don’t demand content. Be patient. Stories take time. You can encourage without being demanding. Show your love for what’s there without telling them to post more often. 

be gentle with criticism. Some people want it and some people run away from it. If you don’t know what type of person the author is, it’s best not to go there. “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything.”

Fandom

ship and let ship. You love your ship and other people love theirs. No one needs to “win” when we’re all going to end up in tears anyway. 

if you hate it, stay out of the tag. This has two meanings: 1) don’t deliberately put hateful commentary in a tag and 2) if you  hate a tag, don’t go and read through that tag just to make yourself angry

if someone makes you something, appreciate it. Read and comment the fic. Like and reblog the artwork. Pimp it out and tell them how much you loved it. It’s a gift, treat it like one. 

if it’s a gift, put some effort into it. You signed up for that exchange three months ago and now it’s a week before you have to send the gift and you don’t have the time or the inclination to do the thing. Well too bad. Someone out there has been working hard in your gift, so you should do the same for them. 

none of us are “better” than anyone else. We’re all trash for our particular show/film/book/ship/artist/what-have-you. My fave is no better than yours and yours is no better than mine. 

actors are not their characters. They are people. Treat them like people. 

My favorite head canon is Mera and Keigo, having a father/son dynamic and Mera being the one taking care of Keigo as his 'handler'. Whenever another commission worker tries to push Keigo past his limit, and even after seeing him clearly struggle, Mera will step in and berate the other workers, reminding him that he is still a kid. Mera is just overprotective over Keigo and still sees him as a person rather than the next commission hero.
