Ah yes the universal experience for players of Pentiment (I think, or maybe I’m just delusional and talk and freak out to myself whenever I play the game and making dialogue choices)

The Pentiment experience so far

As Election Day begins in the U.S. there will be a huge rush of anxiety and emotions for many of us. This is an incredibly difficult time to be hopeful and resilient, but we must. This election will matter, but what will matter the most is the human resiliency and compassion that overcomes the greatest of obstacles. Think today about how you can strengthen your heart or honor and fight for those who need it most. Election Day will pass, and whatever the outcome we will continue to live in a world filled with people of kind hearts and hard working hands. Don’t fall for despair, prepare to roll up your sleeves and do what you can. All is easier said than done, so start by taking a deep breath, think of something you love, and carry on on step at a time.

So I guess I’m using Wednesday as an excuse to post on here. That, or I’m obsessed with new Pentiment brainrot but I need to spread out my Tumblr postings so I save it till Wednesday each week…

for lineart: i've found that the lineart brush doesn't really matter—i just use what's most comfortable. for the conclave drawings i used the RSCO dry fountain pen, and for bavarian miku i think it was a kraftone inker. if you want to imitate the pentiment style, the more important thing is going back over the lineart to get an aged, distressed look; i do this by erasing/coloring bits of lineart with the RSCO pouncer brush (but i'm sure any spotty, textured brush will do).

for coloring: default water brush in procreate 👍🏻

the david zwirner gallery and the felix gonzalez torres foundation in the smithsonian removed the descriptive plaque for portrait of ross in la by felix gonzalez-torres. the old plaque explained portrait for ross' origins as the artist's partner's aids related death, and replaced it with a plaque with absolutely no information about the piece itself, who ross was, or who gonzalez-torres was either. portrait of ross was also reeranged to lay on the floor long ways instead of in a pile as it typically is situated, and the plaque outside the exhibition FOR GONZALEZ-TORRES omits his sexuality, as well as his aids related death. i'm in utter disbelief
