if you don't at least acknowledge that Inosuke has a massive fucking crush on Tanjiro I don't trust you. Like I might let it slide if you don't ship them but if you see how inosuke grabs onto Tanjiro whenever he's nervous and don't think that little boar bitch has a crush then wtf are you doing with your life.

Tony had had every intention of stopping by the beach house at least once every few weeks to check in on Steve, but summer had a way of slipping away faster than anyone ever realized and with things getting tense on the war front, Tony spent more days in the office and on the telephone than he did even at home.
Visiting Steve to make sure he was alright had somehow fallen by the wayside and it was most of the way through July before Tony made it out to the coast.
The road to the beach house was as rattly as it ever was, and Tony noted fresh tracks in still wet mud which meant the delivery van from town had been out to bring Steve fresh food recently. And the house itself looked neat and tidy as he pulled to a stop in the yard, windows wide open to let in the sea breeze, a broom leaning against the well swept deck.
Tony smiled to himself when he saw the collection of shells lining the porch railing and knocked on the door a few times before letting himself in.
“Steve?” he called. “It’s Tony! You in here or down at the beach?”
There was no answer, which was an answer all in itself, so Tony stepped out the back door and heading down across the sand. Shielding his eyes from the glare of sun off sand, Tony could just barely make out a blond head bobbing in the waves right off the boat dock and that– that was weird, was there someone else in the water too?

“Mr. Carbonell, I heard you punched the Mayor!”
“Miss Williams, I can assure you that I did not in any way come close to punching the Mayor.” Tony didn’t turn from the blackboard. “Not only is Mayor Thompson a leader in our community and a well respected Alpha, but even if he did deserve to be punched, violence is not the answer to disagreements, so I wouldn’t have hit him.”
“He’s lying.” A very confident Riri whispered to Mary-Anne. “Your brother told me that Mr. Carbonell put Mayor Thompson on his as–”
“I’m fairly positive you won’t be finishing that sentence, will you Miss Williams?” Tony called over his shoulder, and the girl made a zipping motion over her lips. “And I’m also sure that Harley isn’t spreading falsehoods about me containing profanity, are you Mr. Keener?”
He whipped around and sent Harley a look. “Hm?”
“Uh, no sir, Mr. Carbonell.” Harley mumbled. “Jus’ repeatin’ what I heard is all.”
“You were only repeating what you heard.” Tony corrected. “And what you heard is incorrect. In no way, shape or form, did I lay Mayor Thompson out on his fully deserving, overly arrogant, Alpha ass.”

Rhodey and Tony watch Pixar movies together on Thursday nights and cry during the sad parts while Pepper rolls her eyes and hands them both tissues.
Reblog if you agree.
i just saw an article by a nonbinary person named charles-elizabeth and i must say. the sheer POWER in that kind of name. to choose a gender-contradictory name instead of a gender-neutral name - a name that, instead of slipping between the boundaries of gender norms and carefully negotiating its place at the tipping point of gendered perceptions, is categorically unable to exist within them! i am in awe

two of my favorite hcs that i have are that andrew is like an extreme car guy he fucking loves expensive fast cars but he also knows like jackshit. refuses to learn anything about them. originally bought the gs by asking for the most expensive thing he could get within his budget. the maserati gets a flat tire and andrew is staring down at the tire jack like he can explode it with his eyes. the engine makes a weird sound and he just plays the music louder and ignore it. and then u have neil who knows literally nothing about car breeds and what makes them impressive but is like magical when it comes to making them work. takes him 10 minutes to change a tire. he looks under the hood once and suddenly the engine light that was on for 2 months? disappears. he's like 'hey andrew have u ever checked the oil' '...' 'andrew you've had this car for 4 years'. they go on a drive one day and the maserati breaks down so neil shows him how to hotwire a car so they can drive to a nearby garage and andrew thinks it's the hottest thing he's ever done
what do you consider your gender to be?
hi! thanks for asking, the ans-
All of these books are queer, but they all have back blurbs that don’t say they’re queer. While this can be a pain if I’m scouting for queer SFF, it can come in handy for people in a situation where they don’t want to be reading queer books openly.
Please do note that I don’t have hard copies of the books on hand so it’s possible that an author quote or something mentions one being queer (I feel like this isn’t super likely, but I don’t want to rule it out). Some might also have author biographies mentioning that the author is queer. Also, some may be shelved as LGBT on Goodreads or categorized as queer on Amazon. So if you’re planning on asking for any of these as holiday gifts, I would suggest going to the Amazon page or where ever your relative is likely to buy it from and double check that it’s something you’d be comfortable with sharing openly.
I wish I had more pansexual books, but the ones I know of tend to mention queerness in the back description.
With the exception of The Spy with the Red Balloon, these are all books I have read or are currently reading. If you want to recommend others, feel free to do so in the replies!
You can find my other queer book recommendations here.
Links to the queer books database (or Goodreads if the book hasn’t been added yet) are available below the cut. You can find information on content warnings there.
