Little friendly reminder that Thalia became a hunter thinking that she had no family left just to realize 3 years later that her brother was alive and she will see him dead(probably faster that she expected aka tbm)
I love adding a lil heart or rose or strawberry emoji at the end of conversations. Its like giving ppl a little forehead kiss goodbye.
Thalia: And what do we call theft and vandalism?
Luke: A hobby.
Thalia:Â
Luke: That I do not participate in.Â
Luke (and don't hate me for this) was one of my favs. He needed a family ,but pain can make us behave weird. In the end ,he died for his family ,for the demigods to be saved . In the end only family matters and I truly believe that is better to forgive and to forget
đ
i was just thinking about this but i wanna know yâallâs thoughts on where luke ended up after he died
Demeter: What are you doing?
Hermes: Helping Hephaestus look for his box of corn flakes that I ate an hour ago.
I don't think anyone hates Rick more than the managers at the Empire State Building that work at the front desk lol
YES YES YES
I canât stop thinking about how annoying and adorable Nico must have been at that time, and how Dionysus must remember that once bright-eyed child.
I mean, to be honest, Dionysus is kind of an asshole god, but so are most of the other gods, too. Even then, though, Nico is probably one of the only people to have ever complimented him like... that. No doubt he was a little flattered, because other demigods donât say that his powers in a Mythomagic game are âsweet.â
I wonder if Dionysus looks at Nico now and thinks about that moment he first met the child of Hades. He probably feels a great sense of loss, because as Iâm sure he knows, demigods donât live happy lives. Nico came to camp with a positive outlook, and now heâs here getting therapy from Dionysus. Maybe some part of the wine god was hoping Nico could get a happier ending, but here he is, depressed and traumatized.
But I also like to think about the fact that Dionysus likes to tease Nico about this moment, call him out for being such a nerd during their therapy sessions, if only to bring out that inkling of the bright-eyed child he met that day. Maybe even Nico laughs about it.
I feel like their dynamic is so interesting, and Iâm really hoping we can get more of it in the potential Nico book.
âI choose the prophecy. It will be about me.â
In my opinion, this quote from The Titanâs Curse is one of the most important moments for Percyâs character in the whole series. Here he is, still a kid, pushing down his fear and choosing a prophecy that could easily end in his death, all to protect Nico from that very same burden. He admits in the next few lines that he doesnât want it, but he steps up and claims it anyway to spare a kid who hates him. Itâs the selflessness and compassion that Percy displaye here in willingly shouldering such a heavy burden that, to me, truly makes him such a remarkable hero. There are so many stories about heroes having a great destiny, but Percy really stands out here because of his choice. He accepts the personal pain and suffering that could potentially come out of this prophecy and doesnât shy away from it, just to save Nico. To me itâs this moment that truly shows that Percy is the child of the prophecy, not just because of his choice, but because of what his choice proves about who he is - a courageous, selfless person who is truly strong enough to fulfill his destiny and lead the demigods. I honestly still feel proud every time I reread this scene.
Person : What's your favorite god?
Me : Lester
ââAnd, whoa!â He turned to Mr. D. "Your the wine dude? No way!â Mr. D turned his eyes away from me and gave Nico a look of loathing. âThe wine dude?â âDionysus, right? Oh, wow! Iâve got your figurine!â âMy figurine.â âIn my game, Mythomagic. And holofoil card, too! And even though youâve only got like five hundred attack points and everybody thinks your the lamest god card, I totally think your powers are sweet!â âAh.â Mr. D seemed truly perplexed, which probably saved my life. âWell, thatâsâŠgratifying.ââ
â Rick Riordan, The Titanâs Curse
I could very much see Logan Lerman as Poseidon in the new show. The gods donât age unless they want to so why not look as young as him. Like just picture it Logan Lerman with his long hair and facial hair in a Hawaiian shirt playing the biggest beach bro in Olympus getting the character right, unlike the constipated serious shit the movie tried to pull
