Little Vent
Why do people often choose to make fun of people with anorexia, saying things like “at least I have a period/can have kids” or “at least my hair isn’t falling out” etc., as a way to kind of (as I’ve come to assume) make them want to stop?? In what world does demeaning someone with a poor mental & physical state ever help do anything but make them go deeper into it. Bullying never is, and never was, a form of helping; if anything you’re definitely making it worse.
