a normal day in the wright anything agency
[ID: A 4-page comic featuring Phoenix Wright, Apollo Justice, Athena Cykes and Trucy Wright from Ace Attorney. They’re in their usual outfits, save for Phoenix, who’s discarded the blazer, and Athena, who is in suspender pants instead.
1. There are 2 panels.
Panel 1 Phoenix leans against his office chair, expression tight.
Phoenix: Aaaah - I’m beat!
Panel 2 He gets out of the chair, beating his own back.
Phoenix: gonna stretch for a bit…
2. 4 sequential stick figure doodles of Phoenix, with spiky hair and blue-filled, stretching, as his back aggressively pops with each doodle.
3. There are 2 panels.
Panel 1 In the foreground, Phoenix continues to stretch and groan, and his back continues to aggressively pop. Apollo and Athena watch from the other end of the office with frightened expressions.
Panel 2 Apollo and Athena look at each other, eyes bugging out, mildly fearful. Phoenix’s back pops on.
4. There are 2 parts.
Part 1 Trucy is happily saying, “Oh, Daddy’s back has been doing that since for-ever! He’s like a personal bubble wrap!” Beside her is a stick figure depiction of Trucy jumping on Phoenix’s back, with Trucy filled in a lighter shade of blue than Phoenix.
Phoenix: thanks sweetie Trucy: no problemo, Daddy-o! Phoenix’s back: pop crack
Part 2 Apollo and Athena are sweating, thinking ‘BUBBLE WRAP…’. On them is a translucent stock image of a bubble wrapper.

A quick screenshot of a wip from the narumitsu comic I'm working on ( ⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝)
The bottom panel was SUPPOSED to be the thumbnail but I kept working on it and it kinda became a painting and so I might as well leave it as it is; I kinda like the sketchiness, it fits the scene... I hope to finish it early March, it's not very long (15 pages). I'll put it up on ko-fi when it's done.
I've had this headcanon rattling around in my head for a while
Chaos Simon deserves the whale case
I’m HOWLING!!!! 🤣
AA4 Spoilers. Nothing is sacred.
I just think it’s poetic.

“Have you ever heard the phrase ‘The Dark Age of the Law’ before?”
Phoenix can’t help it, he laughs. “Have I…? I thought I am the dark age of the law. Or at least that’s what the papers are saying.”
“And you know I never believed in that.” Edgeworth says, and his voice is soft enough to bruise.
A story about how Athena meets the Wrights, Edgeworth finally decides to have a conversation about feelings, and Phoenix gets his groove back.

Bookmarker’s Notes:
Beautifully written with empathy for our beloved characters, this fic is a freakin’ hidden gem. It takes place over a summer earlier in the 7yr gap and contains the origin story of how Phoenix meets Athena. It has fantastic and smart dialogue written with humour and savvy. I fell in love a couple of times over the 4 chapters with the characters and the writer’s voice. Highly recommended.
^this times 1000.
hi, a lot of you need a perspective reset
the average human lifespan globally is 70+ years
taking the threshold of adulthood as 18, you are likely to spend at least 52 years as a fully grown adult
at the age of 30 you have lived less than one quarter of your adult life (12/52 years)
'middle age' is typically considered to be between 45-65
it is extremely common to switch careers, start new relationships, emigrate, go to college for the first or second time, or make other life-changing decisions in middle age
it's wild that I even have to spell it out, but older adults (60+) still have social lives and hobbies and interests.
you can still date when you get old. you can still fuck. you can still learn new skills, be fashionable, be competitive. you can still gossip, you can still travel, you can still read. you can still transition. you can still come out.
young doesn't mean peaked. you're inexperienced in your 20s! you're still learning and practicing! you're developing social skills and muscle memory that will last decades!
there are a million things to do in the world, and they don't vanish overnight because an imaginary number gets too big
I'm so glad I live in a world where there's Archive of Our Own
