Warning. I’m going to kiss you in one minute.
SEMANTIC ERROR | EP 7
that finale was perfect.
i don't think any other drama has handled a love triangle as healthy and softly as light on me did. how each character grew and did what they said they were going to do: change for the better.
how the two "rivals" still managed to keep being friends and not hold their "grudges" or whatever against each other. still just vibing, like friends should.
HOW SHINWOO AND TAEKYUNG STILL MANAGED TO BE BOTH CUTE, AWKWARD AND STILL BICKERING LIKE THE FIRST TIME???? the only thing that changed was them now being allowed to be disgustingly cute as boyfriends WITH SO MUCH HANDHOLDING and not caring what other say.
light on me really did that with the budget that they had, twice a week, 16 eps and 20min run time. one of the best series of 2021. don't even try to change my mind.
gemini & fourth (in every universe) ↳ li ming vs. gun vs. atom + perspectives on love

I just cannot explain how much I adore the minute subtleties in Bad Buddy that makes it feel so natural and realistic. Like, yes it's yet another cliché modern revamped Romeo/Juliet story designed as a BL but the improvised acting, the storytelling and the minor details add so much flavour to it. I'm talking things like Pat's connection breaking in their balcony phone call causing Pran to repeat things sometimes; a detail so minor you won't even notice it but it made the phone call seem so natural. I'm talking stupid running jokes like "Can I pay you to be less confident?" "Sure here's my QR code." I'm talking Pat telling his sister about the five mosquito bites he got. I'm talking Pat screaming and punching his pillow after Pran flirted with him. I'm talking regular boyfriend banter like Pat teasing Pran with the Nanon & Sizzy song and Pran fondly nagging him to turn it off. I can keep talking and talking cause there are so many little things that make this show feel so real. It hits too close to home.
i can't stop thinking how much of a conscious effort changing pran's look was in ep 5 bc he really does look the Prettiest he has in the series and its all thru pat's eyes. just the thought of p'aof having the makeup team spend a little extra time on him so the audience would be able to fully live thru pat's experience makes me smile like. i really wonder how thoroughly they thought things out and i wouldn't put this beyond them considering how drastically different this ep has made our viewpoints on all the other characters.
You know what, Sang Yi? You’re very cute.
I want to point out something SO important about this episode…
This scene right here. Omg. I got emotional. The way Pat was originally coming over to continue their teasing, but saw that Pran was in a sad mood so he changed his tune real quick to become a more lighthearted and supportive person for Pran to lean on. They understand each other in ways even their friend groups wouldn’t understand 😭😭
