The fact that this is both their first kiss scene in their entire career makes the kiss scene and the entire series more meaningful and more memorable!!
All I can say is, LEE SAE ON AND KANG YOU SEOK BEST BOIS!!
i really like the moment when pran holds out his hand to pat and says "i'm done adjusting". initially he's so caught in his own anxious worries that he immediately rejects the handholding but after a second of taking a step back and thinking abt it he's like 'you know what actually i'm okay with this rn' and that's such an important message about intimacy. because yes sometimes stepping closer (esp in public) can be scary but after the initial surprise you might find that you're actually okay with it (and pran holds pat's hand behind pa's back later too). and pran knows that pat would respect it if he's not ready and that makes it easier for pran to 'adjust' i.e. be open about the fact that he does want to hold pat's hand in the corridor outside his apartment. intimacy and getting closer to someone are not linear progresses and often move forward step by step. and i love how we see this in pran especially: he acts subconsciously and then makes an effort to show how he feels consciously about pat and their relationship.

It's really hard to believe we now have korean dramas that doesn't focus on the romance, where you can ignore the romance if you wish and that the romance doesn't overwhelm the actual plot. For years I didn't have any interest in kdrama because it was always about "guy meets girl", if you see a guy standing next to a girl you already know where this is going, everybody is always falling in love all the time. Even when there was a good plot, it moved tangled in the romance, and it was really hard to watch if you are romance repulsed, don't like romance or are just really really tired of ships and couples. This is unprecedented.
i think nanon deserves an oscar for his face expressions in general but specially the sleepover scene (ep 4, 4/4). like damn- he- hes an actor he acts,, hes too good ā¼ā¼ ugh the glassy eyes god he made my heart ache so much in this scene
-bonus: his expression when pat told him he likes looking at his face (when he loses) literally made my life so far worth living
look at him ! oh god hes too gay to function

Letās talk about Saint Suppapongās physicality in acting for a moment. Watch Love By Chance back to back with Why R U? Itās kind of a revelation.Ā
There are some really good actors in BL and he is one of them.Ā
But when most viewers say āgreat actorā theyāre thinking about facial expressions and how an actor portrays emotions.Ā
What Saint has (and very few other actors anywhere do) is whole body physicality. The way he moves it totally different between Pete and Tutor.Ā
When he walks: where he weights his spine, carries his arms and shoulders, and how he tilts his head is different. Tutor has faster more abrupt movements, Peteās are more precise and careful.Ā
When heās standing, also different.Ā
Itās actually kind of insane.Ā
Saint inhabits his own body completely differently depending on the character heās playing. Itās just really rare to see someone do this. Itās like spy-craft.Ā
Iād love to see him tackle a seme character or a bad guy. I bet heād be great more aggressive and agro.Ā
Itād be fun to see how he inhabits space when he is required to take up a lot of it.
I think Plan has some of this ability too. Look at him in hisĀ Until We Meet AgainĀ bit part (aggressive, older seeming, stiff) versus Love By Chance (floppy, childish, and uncontrolled).Ā
But with Plan we havenāt yet got to see him execute this as two different main characters where he has to maintain alternate physicality over time. Although it explains why heās so great at imitating Tinās posture and walk in LBC2. (One of my very favourite scenes.)
