Hello everyone!

I'm notifying you all that I'm putting a brief hiatus on answering asks while I focus my attention on finishing my yandere game jam entry!

The ask box will remain open-feel free to send any asks you like my way, just keep in mind that it will take me a moment to get to them.

For those of you with asks currently in that they have not yet seen answered- don't worry! I'm not ignoring you, just directing my spoons a little more intentionally towards FoE in order to produce the best playing expeirence I can with the limited remaining time I have. How would Lowell be with an MC whos skipping their meds? I take mine for depression and such, I use to skip it when I was a teen sjdjdb. The Lowell finds like a whole ass two bottles full of just untaken meds skbdid

Oh he's guilty of this himself, it'll be touched on later in the game, especially in the creme brulee and croquembouch routes, but Lowell is both mentally and physically ill and he's TERRIBLE at taking care of himself, so he often goes days without his meds and tends to suffer the consequences of that quiet acutely.

He'll try to subtly figure out if you're skipping your meds on purpose or just because you're forgetful at first. If you're the forgetful type, he has a lot of tricks he's learned over the years that he'll help you out with, stuff like bottle caps with timers on them, setting alarms on your AND his phone, making sure you have a fully stocked days of the week med case.

If you're skipping them on purpose- well. He has ways to deal with that. He needs you to be healthy, after all!

I want to format it to fit the graphics in the demo but I'm finishing up my yanjam project before I get into the heavier coding and formatting for Darling Dollhouse.

I had started a few assets and things for DD but working on this short project has been teaching me a lot so most likely I'll be redoing them to be a little cleaner.

That being said Flowers of Evil should be done very soon at which point I can turn my attention back to Darling Dollhouse, so be on the lookout!

A little bit, but not in the ways that matter, lol. He'd still be a killer, he'd still be a yan, and he'd still be pretty seriously emotionally disturbed.

It's also likely he would have tried to burn any bridges he had with you back then, especially if you were a good influence on him. Lowell isn't and doesn't want to be a good person, and while he was growing up he was a little more conscious of the fact that any relationship he had with people would inevitably be ruined by the fact that he acts like a monster. As he's grown older, he's gotten a lot more comfortable with being selfish, and he now believes that even if a relationship with him is not good for you, he still wants to pursue one. No matter how one sided that relationship may be.

If you happened to be really persistent while he was growing up and unusually good at dodging his bullshit, he may be a little less intentionally cruel to everyone and reserve his anger for his victims. He also may have tried to stay at home instead of running away, which might have given him the opportunity to actually finish school- something that would have decreased the progression of his disability quite a bit.

yea but you DO have to do little performances for him and he WILL make you wear special little outfits while you do it. he might record it for... personal use... later. he'll even build a little display stand to put your flag and your other various props in, he's supportive but like, he's still gonna be a freak about it
