I saw a post on Instagram about how Captain America dying would’ve been better than Iron Man. I honestly agree. The writers intended for Cap to miss Peggy and feel disconnected from the current world. Add those components to his self-sacrificing attitude and him making the wish would’ve made sense and been good. I know Iron Man’s final development was to throw away his arrogance and sacrifice himself but I would’ve much rather him retire with his family and help the world by making inventions for the better of the world and start a new generation of Iron Man.

Mine: Rise Donnie’s favorite Avenger is Iron Man/Tony Stark.

Donnie would love him since 1. He is intelligent, 2. Has a really cool lab, 3. Is majorly sassy, and 4. They have robot assistants. Jarvis and S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N respectively.

Johnshi & Gelphie Parallels

After listening to Wicked, I realized that "What Is This Feeling?" and "For Good" give such Johnshi vibes.

Elphaba and Glinda's relationship is similar to Johnny and Kenshi's. Like the two women, Johnny and Kenshi started disliking each other intensely and were unwilling to resolve. But it changed when an important moment brought them together- Elphaba wore Glinda's "gift" and Glinda danced with her when no one else would while Kenshi lost his sight protecting Johnny and Johnny took care of and encouraged Kenshi to keep going. Elphaba and Kenshi are similar since they are more withdrawn and serious. The same for Johnny and Glinda who are more comedic and self-centered, but kind. In the end, I like to believe Johnny and Kenshi see each other as the one that changed them for the better. That's why I love their intros together since we see how much they care about each other- Johnny asking Kenshi if Jax is a good guy and calling him his best friend while Kenshi takes time to go to Johnny's movie shoot and trusts him to take down the Yakuza by his side. If they become a couple at some point, I would beam with joy. They would be a great couple. I kind of doubt it could happen because of BladeCage, but I'm still going to dream.

Anyway, I'm going to be listening to "For Good" with Johnshi playing through my mind. 😂

Favorite ROTTMNT Villain?

When it comes to the villains in Rise, my like/dislike ratio is kind of 50/50.

Draxum and Big Mama are great villains, but the other ones like Warren Stone and those crab brothers are not good.

I know that Draxum is not a villain anymore, but he was one for the majority of the show. So, I count him.

If you like or dislike any of the villains I mentioned, that’s cool. Like any character you like.

Draxum's design is so good and I so far really like how the creators' are writing him.

There is finally a main female villain in the TMNT universe! She's so conniving and pretty badass. I mostly enjoy villains who use their brains more rather than fight. But I don't mind intelligent, manipulative villains being crazy strong.

This Shredder is pretty scary. He's insane and has lost all sense of humanity. He took a step further more than 2012 Shredder since he succeeded in killing his own daughter.

RWBY/Mortal Kombat Crossover

Wouldn't it be cool if some RWBY characters were added into Mortal Kombat as a DLC pack or Netherealm makes a RWBY game like the Injustice?

I care more about the gameplay than the story mode. I'm like that with most action games like MK, Injustice, and etc.

Yang's fatal blow and finisher would be great. Her fighting is very similar to Sonya's so the creators would make her look great.

Weiss would be fun to use with all her glyphs. I miss those times when she used them for most of her fights.

It would also be amazing if their customized outfits would be all the main outfits from the show. I would also want the MK designers to give the RWBY crew new clothes.

This was before Morgana met Launchpad and Gosalyn.

Drake and Morgana are walking to an important S.H.U.S.H meeting, yet the latter notices something is wrong. The mallard vaguely confides about a romantic moment he had with someone (Launchpad) while riding the Ratcatcher. Morgana tries encouraging her friend to go for it.

Drake: I don’t know.

Morgana: Is he cute?

Drake: Yes he is, but I need to focus on my training. I don’t need to be distracted.

Morgana: Yes you should be distracted. Distracted is good. What’s his name?

Drake: Launchpad

Morgana: I like it. And, you know what they say about riding a bike.

Fenton: Who’s getting a bike?

Drake: Nobody.

Ever since the movie, I’ve been thinking about the turtles’ power levels. They aren’t totally op since they don’t easily beat their enemies with their powers, but there isn’t a clear limit or downside to them, it seems like they are limitless. This didn’t bother me in the S2 finale because I assumed that it was the end of the series and the writers didn’t have the time to develop the ninpo. Though, I would’ve liked if the movie incorporated the limit at least(maybe with a throwaway line).

I also wish the movie didn’t take place so far from the finale. A time skip was fine but it should’ve been at least 6 months-1 year so there isn’t a big chunk of development we would miss.

If I could add the limit, it would be the amount of power use would be based on the turtles’ individual stamina and how spiritually connected they are.

April Kunoichi Rant

I’ve seen people complain how April became a kunoichi so fast; I was one as well. But, I just watched City at War(the episode where she becomes a kunoichi), and I missed a detail the first few times I watched it.

Around the very beginning, April is reminiscing about how much she has grown since the first season, and is very happy that she is a kunoichi. Then, Raph mentions that April needs more training to be a full kunoichi; she is only in the beginner levels.

This makes sense.

In the first season, the turtles are considered ninjas but still had a lot to learn. That wouldn’t be different for April.
