A lot of the times speedsters have a certain something about them when they sleep that's caused by their powers. For Barry it's sleep (speed)talking, for Wally it's exsessive figiting, but Bart has a particular case.

Bart tends to get very emotional and when he feels extreme emotion his powers react with him and he starts to vibrate uncontrolably. This is normally a problem. But When he's asleep, he feels safe and happy, so much that his powers react but it's normally a small controlled vibration but enough that when he breaths it comes out choppy.

I repeat: BART ALLEN PURRS IN HIS SLEEP

It was noticed, and recorded durring one of the very first core four sleepovers by Tim, our notorius Insomniac, that overheard.

Just when everyone thought Bart couldn't get any cuter, that video 'mysetiously' surfaced on the phone of everone they knew.

Note for the DC fandom: Bart isn’t Wally’s protége (or Barry’s, for that matter). He always worked with Max Mercury, or Jay Garrick, if Max is unavailable.

I see this happen a lot in YJ98 fanart, where the Core 4 is shown with their mentors, and it bugs me. Barry was kinda dead during the 90’s, and Wally really only worked with Bart when the situation called for it, they didn’t hang out much (neither are mature enough to deal with each other for extended periods of time).

Smaller gripe, but Kon also didn’t spend a ton of time with Clark. That’s mostly because Superman has this long track record of accidentally being a terrible father. It’s more of a gripe than anything, as Kon usually trained under Psimon or the Guardian (as he doesn’t really have Kryptonian powers, just tactile telekinesis).

Bart has been banned from every casino in Vegas due to his card counting abilities. It’s not like he even has to try to do it, it just happens. One of those things he off handedly notices when looking at everything around him. He doesn’t go out of his way to look at other peoples cards with his superspeed, he doesn’t actually believe in cheating, but it’s not like he can turn off his observational skills.

That being said, Kon trying to invite his buddy out for a wild night on the town is really difficult to do because he doesn’t know where Bart’s been banned from.

Kon: Pack your bags, we’re going to Vegas!

Bart: Ooo Vegas! …What’s in Vegas?

Kon: What isn’t in Vegas, Imp? There’s great sights, hot girls, delicious foods, fun casinos!

Bart, sighing dramatically: I can’t go into those.

Kon: what do you mean?

Bart: Apparently I’m on a ‘on sight’ list. All gambling districts know my face and kick me out the moment I step on the property.

Kon: … what??

Bart: I know right! I wasn’t even doing it on purpose! It’s not like I was actually in it to steal their money. I was under cover, helping Tim out on recon.

Kon: … right. So then, no Casino’s for you then. Strip club?

Bart: You know I don’t enjoy those. And I’m taken. The last time you took me to one I was mistaken for a dancer and dragged into the changing rooms.

Kon: You look great in fishnet.

Bart: Thank you.

Kon: okay, how about… a bar?

Bart: Neither of us can get drunk.

Kon: Ugh

Bart: What about that techno club? Dancing is easy, and fun.

Kon: Sensitive ears.

Bart: Ah. Nevermind then. I have some contacts in the music industry, I can get us in a concert Hall with backstage passes if there’s any good live shows going on.

Kon: Why do you have contacts in the music industry?

Bart: I was in a two person band in highschool and got scouted by this one dude. Long story.

Kon: The more I learn about your highschool days the more in awe I get.

What do you mean "curing" his autism. I don't remember that in the comics????

They don’t outright say it, cause that’d just be stupid of them, but you know the scene right before Bart becomes Kid Flash, when Deathstroke/Jericho shot him in the knee point blanc so he had that prosthetic put in? They basically used that as a coverup to change his character basics and rewrite his character. 

It was messy and sure, trauma does a lot to people, but come on. Immediately afterwards he took on the Kid Flash mantle, something he’s said on multiple occasions that he’d NEVER do. He read the entire San Fransico Library and memorised it all, something he’s never had the patience or attention span to do before, and no a traumatic event like that wouldn’t focus him. If anything he’d become more paranoid and ready to jump the gun, figuratively and literally. And then he becomes such a serious character? Like??? That’s not how neurodivergent people/characters work. He cracks jokes from time to time since he’s supposed to be the “class clown” character on the team-- also supposed to be untrue.

OKAY CRACKHEADS, I KNOW Y'ALL SAW MY POST THE OTHER DAY ABOUT THE BART FIC COMING UP THAT'S VITAL TO MY HAPPINESS, AND I'M HERE TO UPDATE YOU ON DETAILS AND FIRST CHAPTER SHOULD BE UP BY TONIGHT STAY TUNED.

Basically my idea in the 3 AM notes was a teenage Bart Allen being just an absolute havoc to Central City and being brought into the station after doin' teenage dilinquent (but not really) stuff. The steriotypical spray painting stuff, skateboarding places he shouldn't, breaking into government property out of sheer boredom. That kinda stuff. Barry being absolutely fed up with him (ANGST) but it's also like a wholesome Bart is in the Rogues family. (Hartley and David are texting back and fourth like "Bart's in the station again" and "omw kiss emoji", classics like that.)

So feral sarcastic Bart + the rogues, featuring Barry being absent in Bart's life like usual and Wally is still an asshole.

Hartley and Cold are together, and I'm working it out to where Hart is still in the rogues and he was on board all along, not just to backstab them. Bart having a relationship with his brothers, Thad and Owen, and him subtly shielding the rogues when needed so they aren't caught by Flash.

Wally and Linda are together, obvi, Barry and Iris, a given. Maybe work in some ships with the rogues. I Hope y'all enjoy this trope as much as I've loved writing a bunch of these scenes.
