Botw is such an interesting take on post apocalypse, because it isn't really dystopian. It is a wound healed over, a world that has forgotten the end of itself, and in that, has begun anew. Grandparents whisper their nightmares into the wind, and smile at their kin. The garrisons that remain are sodden ashes in the dirt, a burial ground, and the most fertile soil for miles. You do not know the past that your body remembers. You do not know the voices that linger, and yet you follow. You follow, because the world has forgotten you, and you have nothing that is yours to remember.

had a dream that someone was showing me this camera that could render anything it photographed "flawless." So like it could remove blemishes from people's faces, but also if you took a picture of a cracked glass there would be no crack in the resulting image.

Obviously this is kind of existentially horrifying but that's not the point of this post.

The point is that when dream me got the camera I immediately turned the lens onto my cat to see what she would look like "perfect." And she looked exactly the same.

I would personally go to war for the color yellow. Golden hour is the most divine time of day, marigolds are the best flowers, and yellow is simply the best. I take NO argument. My Stratocaster is yellow. My favorite sweater is yellow. Gold jewelry (offshoot of yellow) is my favorite to wear. If someone calls it a piss color again, there will be violence
