What is math

Cause istg it doesnt make sense. When there were just numbers easy sailing but WHY IN THE EVERLOVING FUCK DID THEY HAVE TO ADD LETTERS?! MATH IS HARD ENOUGH WITH NUMBERS WHY ADD LETTERS?!

Istg they're making math more confusing everyday. I bet they change the rule everytime so when i search it on google it'll be different every time.
