stop normalizing ai use in fandom đ
CNN suggested that Luigi Mangione stage a boycott instead of what he did. a boycott of the health care industry. exercising my right to protest by fucking dying.
edit: it was ABC. tomato, tomato.
Sure, you know how to self-flagellate, but do you know how to apologize? Saying "I'm a stupid idiot" is not the same thing as saying "I did something wrong."
A hitman who advertises his services the way a commission artist does
luigi mangione, the SUSPECTED (innocent until proven guilty) united healthcare shooter, has been charged with terrorism. thatâs right. a man who supposedly shot ONE SINGLE PERSON is being charged with terrorism. because in america, billionaires lives matter enough that a SINGLE rich manâs death is considered a terrorist act against this country. think about that.
Thinking about superbattinson and Clark just being absolutely fascinated by Bruceâs little gadgets.
Clark watches Bruce get dressed, touching all the things on his belt like:
Clark: Whatâs this? Ooh, and this?
Bruce: Grappling hook. Adrenaline shot.
Clark: Adrenaline shot?
Bruce: Might need adrenaline.
Clark:
Bruce: I also have sedatives.
goodnight to people who are unable to run goodnight to people who used to be known for 'running/skipping' everywhere until it became far too painful and dangerous goodnight to people who have a walking gait that shows deformity and 'disturbs others' goodnight to people who have limbs that 'move wrong' goodnight to people who walk with a limp goodnight to people who stumble and fall goodnight to people who use a mobility aid goodnight to people who use elevators goodnight to people who use shower-chairs goodnight to people who use ramps
shit man tomorrow is christmas eve i swear yesterday was June 2010
the âcan you get me xyz accessibility tool pleaseâ ânah u dont need that iâll just help youâ type conversation is so frustrating to me
i appreciate that people want to help but i want to be able to do things even when you donât feel like helping me. i want to be able to do things when youâre not around to help me. by refusing me accessibility aids, you are limiting me in a way i dont want or need to be limited, whether intentionally or not
"if you see someone shoplifting, no you didn't" no but like. i really didn't. i have never in my life seen someone shoplifting because i'm not watching anyone else in the grocery store..? how are y'all noticing things like that. my only goals are enter the store, survive, exit the store
the "canon isn't real we make our own rules" to "i am begging you people to revisit the source material" pipeline
draw your fave wrestler like this
people with chronic pain & fatigue this is your reminder not to overdo it when you feel okay <3
please be gentle with yourself whenever possible and take things slow so you dont launch yourself (back) into a flare
Most people will probably never understand the fear of looking into a mirror, and the person looking back at you isn't you
It's like a horror movie, only it's real, and you can't do shit about it
Nothing gives the same kind of random ego boost like managing to finally clean up your home and making it nice. Like ooh look at me, I'm living like people do, I made myself iced tea and I am eating my snack from a real plate. I got floors and shit.
stop calling the arrested guy the shooter. stop laundering the cops' narrative. the man who was arrested is a suspect until proven otherwise.
Prosecutors argued that Mangione was carrying about $10,000 in cash and that his bag was a Faraday bag that blocks cellphone signalsâall proof that he was a sophisticated criminal who should be held without bail. ââIâd like to correct two things,ââ Mangione said after the prosecutor finished speaking, according to CNNâs Danny Freeman, ââI donât know where any of that money came fromâIâm not sure if it was planted. And also, that bag was waterproof, so I donât know about criminal sophistication.ââ
*struggles while writing* i suck and writing is hard
*remembers some ppl use ai* i am a creative force. i am uncorrupted by theft and indolence. i am on a journey to excellence. it is my duty to keep taking joy in creating.
your yearly reminder that Baby Itâs Cold Outside is a song about a woman having CONSENSUAL sex, at a time when premarital sex was frowned upon. The female singer is offering up the token demurrals society expects her to, because itâs expected, not bc she doesnât fully intend to stay and have awesome sex with a dude sheâs into. The male singer knows this, and is in turn offering her an excuse to give to the neighbors in the morning (âit was too cold for me to go home, the only responsible thing to do was spend the night at his place. because of the weather, get your minds out of the gutterâ). A 1950s audience would have understood all this, but the nuance gets lost in a modern age where women are actually allowed to say yes when they mean it. Â
Also the âhey whatâs in this drinkâ thing was a common joke at the time, where the punchline was that there was in fact nothing in the drink. the womanâs making a joke that she wouldnât do this if she was sober, oh goodness no! itâs only a joke bc both she and the man are in on the punchline: she is sober, and is only staying bc she wants to
Anyway, people with brain damage I love you. People who have had strokes I love you, especially if you're told you were "too young" to have one. People who acquired your brain damage by less common means such as infection, lack of oxygen at birth or degenerative disease, I love you. People with moderate and severe brain damage, I love you. People who lost their sight or hearing or ability to speak because of their brain damage, I love you. People who have paralysis from their brain damage, I love you. People with amnesia and severe cognitive issues from their brain damage, I love you. People with rare and unusual symptoms from their brain damage, I love you.
You are not a punchline, you haven't lost your humanity, your thoughts and opinions are as valuable as anyone else's. We deserve respect.

i do write for attention, actually, because that's a normal reason to create art
Really hate how âmommy and daddy issuesâ just a jab at the child and not the parent
the average twitter vs tumblr community experience
what they donât tell you about uncluttering your countertops/tables/general spaces is youâll think itâs dumb as hell & allow it to all pile up because the idea of organizing and removing shit is daunting but once you do it and step back and See how things look without clutter you will feel as though you just snorted a line.
I hope every health insurance exec dies from painful and preventable disease
popular YouTube channels are great and informative until they make a video about a topic you're informed on and then the house of cards comes crashing down as you realize how utterly wrong they are about most things
you deserve all the safety and love and care and joy you begged the universe for as a child
