season three is so fucking funny to me because they're like constantly baiting this 'came back wrong' thing for sam but he's like. normal sam. minus the fact that he's out of his mind with premeditated grief for dean's death and literally ever other case they take is specifically related to the fact that dean is about to die. HE GETS STUCK IN A TIME LOOP ABOUT IT
