HMM!!! makes me think. because like. that's the thing right. their life is actually kind of shitty yk? her business is not a success, they're literally buried under the pile of their failed ambitions. everything very objectively sucks!!! and it's like that's. someone's worst fear. i know it's mine. that you'll blink and it'll be 25 years years and you're barely holding it together. career, husband, kid — every. thing is a mess..and you're just. making it all worse against your own better judgement because you're so overwhelmed with a kind of grief and loneliness and sorrow and goddddd like. like. that's terrifying. the prospect of that life is so terrifying. and EEAAO looked at this woman and it said. yeah. you know what. it sucks. you actually did fail spectacularly at everything. but you're here. and you can decide to embrace this reality. and put googly eyes on your laundry bags and hug your daughter anyway. because life is unpredictable, and you did what you could, but the point of it all is to steal what little love and joy you can from it. and it's just. okay. I'm emotional about that i am..
