Made A Quick Doodle Of This Creature For @skiterring! Kinda An Experimental Commission But I Had A Lot

final for my intro to FVNMA class! went insane over this for about a week and a half of nothing but eat, sleep, animate 😵‍💫

Finished a short hand-animated portion of my After Effects final tonight and I'm honestly pretty happy with it, shoutout to everyone who hung out with me in discord as my emotional support while I finished it :]

This one is gonna be 2 years old in a few months, but I still really love this one :] I plan to make more art along these lines in class this year so it felt like a relevant one to post now!

Projected animation project from my second semester finals at SAIC! This was a really fun experiment in multimedia and I would love to do more with it in the future 👀

In case you were wondering what my pfp is, it's this horrible creation! I did an object study of a plaster mold of my teeth from when I was getting pre-braces as a kid. This is not that mold, but a close mimicry! It's air dry clay and creek quartzite with a piece of brain coral and it keeps me company at my desk

UPDATE!! THEY ARE NOW PAINTED!!!!

It took a bit of sanding but everything is acrylic paint and gloss sealant! The gloss texture helps them seem shiny + there's a bit of glitter in the silver paint I used :]

These have a black base coat to darken the thin silver paint I had and to add some scratched up/aged texture to them

I have been so excited about this project!! 3D printed a pair of iterator antennae headphone attachments :D

The size is measured to my Philips TAH4205 headphones so they clip on without any glue or tape, .STL files and .UFP files (formatted for Ultimaker S3 printers through Cura) are included here!

These are fresh off the 3D printer, I plan to paint them silver tonight to seem more metallic >:]
