Fazpad Raspberry Sweet Rolls

Ingredients:

- 1 package (¼ ounce) active dry yeast

- 1 cup warm milk

- ⅓ cup granulated sugar

- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

- 1 teaspoon salt

- 2 eggs

- 4 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 cup raspberry jam or fresh raspberries

- ½ cup powdered sugar

- 1-2 tablespoons milk or water

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

1. In a bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

2. Add sugar, melted butter, salt, and eggs to the yeast mixture. Stir well.

3. Gradually mix in the flour until the dough forms.

4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours or until it doubles in size.

5. After the dough has risen, roll it out on a floured surface into a large rectangle.

6. Spread the raspberry jam evenly over the dough or sprinkle fresh raspberries.

7. Starting from one long side, tightly roll up the dough into a log. Cut the log into slices, about 1-1.5 inches thick.

8. Place the slices in a greased baking dish, leaving space between each roll. Cover them and let them rise for another 30-45 minutes.

9. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes or until they turn golden brown.

10. While the rolls are baking, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk or water, and vanilla extract until smooth.

11. Once the rolls are done, let them cool for a few minutes before drizzling the glaze over the top. Serve warm and enjoy your fazpad raspberry sweet rolls!

I'm not even past Masquerade and I'm dying for this show. The fast paced nature can make the little details harder to find and more rewarding to notice. And don't get me started with Angel Dust. Oh my god. IMO the BEST written character in the series. The way Valentino treats Angel Dust is absolutely shocking. It's a level I've never seen TV go before. The anxiety and guilt(?) in Angel's face as he talks to Val on the phone is realistic. His voice dropping into what seems to be his actual voice kills me. And then his name(?) Anthony on the paper just shows how much he's tied up in Valentino's contracts. And finally, Poison. It's fast-paced, it feels like coming down from a high, its ruthless on the pure emotion that flows through it all. Viv, Blake, and everyone there needs a raise. Bravo.
