A little something I’ve been working on for the past 2 weeks. Since I love fashion and patterns made up of “unconventional” components, thought I’d try my hand at making something like that. It’s nothing spectacular, and I don’t expect much to become of it, but it was nice to try out.
To all my fellow artists out there…
[Image Description: A sketch of an anthropomorphic cat standing up. The character has a striped brown and white face, white feet and hands, and a bushy dark brown tail. She is wearing a plaid green button-up shirt and loose jeans. End of Description]
Another anthro feline I drew up on a whim. Her physical traits I determined by randomization. She’s supposed to be a longhaired seal mink and white tabby with a less than plausible eye color. As with my last cat character, I don’t have many ideas for her yet.
[Image Description: Cartoony drawing of a brown humanoid furry character. This character has the head of a rabbit, tail of a lion, and feet of a horse. He is wearing a long-sleeve blue shirt, a blue plaid button up, black skirt, and silver earring. End of Description]
An old drawing of Matonne wearing an outfit that I actually own, minus the earring. I took a thermal from a Walmart, an oversized button up (that was also the first item from the men’s section I ever owned), and a skirt I wear as a tube dress. Makes me feel particularly genderpunk.
Last night I had a dream about this cat who was a college professor of media studies. In the dream, he was freaking out because he’d misplaced his bus ticket, which he needed to get home to his two kids (he’s a single dad by the way), and was asking everyone he could for $20 to buy a new one.
Got no name for him yet, but my friends and I are workshopping one. Right now, I’m leaning towards Henry Calico.
Also, I’ve decided he’s now Alex and Zahra’s teacher. Yes, he is a teacher at a mostly human school.
[Image Description: Drawing of of a tall, white anthropomorphic duck wearing a sweater and holding wings with a tiny gosling wearing a cowboy hat. End of image description.]
@kittodekiru challenged me a while back to create a character based on this little gosling. Decided to throw in a sweater-donning crested runner duck based on a video in the same thread. Say hello to Sweater Mom and her cowboy-obsessed foster gosling.
[Image Description: A colored sketch of an anthropomorphic brown cat with fluffy pink hair and wearing clothes. On the left is a full-body image of the cat from the side. On the right is a close-up image of the cat’s upper body from the front. End of Description.]
A little feline character I drew up to exercise my creativity muscles. Don’t have any ideas for him, other than his gender and appearance, but it was fun just getting to design a character with no set goal.
[Image Description: Drawing of a sitting cat with curly, grey fur. Above the cat is a drawing of their face from the front. Below the cat is the word “Graystripe”. End of Description.]
Took me a while to fully figure out Graystripe’s design. Originally, I was going to give the rex coat to Firestar’s family, but then in terms of personality, I feel curly fur better fits the comedian of the OG apprentices.
Yet another drawing I made a while back, and spruced up a bit today. So here be my version of teen Chara.
Mensah and her wives.
From left to right: Farai, Ayda Mensah, and Tano (until the books or Wells say otherwise, Tano is a they/them enby to me).
[Image Description: A drawing of the Pokémon Swirlix. Swirlix resembles a piece of pale pink cloud with a short tail, two paws for feet, and a short dog-like face. Swirlix is sticking its tongue out. End of Description]
Decided to take a stab at drawing another one of my favorite fairy mons. This little cutie always makes me hungry for marshmallows dipped in fondue.
