It’s hard to say if there’s a correlation in the order of countdown images or if it’s just randomly picked; will definitely keep an eye out for it 🫡

What we know so far about the Slender: The Arrival announcement
(Special thanks to @them0rtal for making the post that helped me realize this is even happening)
#1: On June 22nd at 10:00 a.m., the official Slender: The Arrival Twitter account (@/PlaySlenderTA made a post. It contained a 13 second video, along with the caption "He's waiting... #slenderman #slenderTA".
#2: At 10:07 a.m., the account for Blue Isle Studios quote retweets this post. They add the caption "The countdown has started: slenderthearrival.com".
Following the link will lead visitors to the promotional website established for the game. Underneath an image of Slenderman, a countdown can be found.
This countdown is set to end in roughly 34 days.
Beneath a link to the Youtube upload of the teaser video, visitors also have the option to provide their email addresses in order to "stay tuned".
Aside from this teaser and the updated website, no other details about the project have been provided. Fans have begun to speculate on what this announcement could mean for Slender: The Arrival, and what type of product is being teased.
Ahead are a few speculations and theories on what this announcement could be for.
A remake/remaster of Slender: The Arrival. Due to the updated graphics in the teaser video and the fact that it references a scene towards the ending of the original game, many believe that this is a hint that The Arrival is getting a face-lift.
A continuation of the original game. Some fans, while playing the teaser with audio, have noticed that it contains the sounds of male breathing. Assuming that the figure on the stairs is Charlie (since he is the one guarding the stairs in the original scene this teaser is referencing), this breathing sounds too mature to be coming from him. This has led many to theorize that this could be a new protagonist, likely to be an adult male.
A port to Switch, PS5-exclusive remaster, etc.
It is currently unknown what will happen once the countdown ends. Many are assuming there will be an official reveal (trailer, proper announcement, etc.), which should finally confirm what exactly it is in regards to The Arrival.
I will be keeping an eye on this as best as I can. If anyone finds any extra information, please reply to this post!

LAUREN
Full name: Lauren Belle Woods; quite a fancy choice but hey it flows
No set DOB, but I can see either Aries or Taurus. Aries is more the lean I'm feeling
Lauren's household dynamic is a little more down-to-earth meshed with conservative. She was raised by her grandmother with no apparent contact to her bio parents. There also is an absent father figure here, as is with this whole trio (not intentionally- it just kinda happened lol)
She cuts her own hair to save on expenses, but it's usually just a trim or thinning. Her hair rarely goes past her shoulders, and if it does it's been a rough season.
She has a romantic interest in afabs, but because of her upbringing ends up with amabs more frequently.
Stoner. Don't ask me why, but she feels like the mellow person at a party and ends up with wallflowers.
With this, she probably had the heaviest scene phase out of the trio.
Doesn't really come around to Kate's that often anymore, but she did still attend Beth's funeral out of respect.
Probably has her life most put together out of the three of them: She's got a degree in interior design from an out of town college, can make ends meet on her own, and she plans on settling down.. eventually.
That doesn't dismiss the sights she sees out of the corner of her eyes, though.
She's currently a stable meds taker, with only one prescription, but she finds each week that goes by it doesn't really help?
Despite having things put together, she'd rather stay in Oakside for nostalgia sake.
Stubborn, but she's also the friend to walk behind the group on the sidewalk.

Full name: Katherine Elizabeth Hayes (cough u see the naming trend)
She's a gemini. May 23.
Obviously Kate grew up with their mother, but she was borne of an affair Beth had with one of the Oakside figureheads; Kate doesn't really know who the father is, as Beth won't budge on it.
Her relationship with her mom is decent enough around the house, but it is still a strain on both ends. They just butt heads a little too much.
So.. Mommy issues + fatherless activity = she/they bisexual???
Especially when it comes to C.R. Kate doesn't see the red flags when staring dead on at the flagpole.
Probably went to school for something athletic or bio. Either way, they would've gotten as far away from Oakside as possible with a scholarship through softball.

Unlike Lauren and C.R., Kate is a loudhouse. She oversteps a lot of rules and doesn't care too much of others' opinions.

I see a lot of people talking about her being in her teens? Completely valid, but Kate (along with the other two) are in like their mid-20's. Hell, Lauren has a job and Kate lives solo.
She'll drive to town every once in a while, but it's really for them to get away from that Thing's influence long enough.
Kate is the source of things here; not directly, but they did kinda reignite it in her youth.
They have a couple of diagnoses, but she prefers to keep each to themself.
Kate has burn scars. I do not and will not take any criticism on this.

ah hi! it’s been busy and my brain hasn’t churned for the arrival for a hot minute BUT-
- C.R.’s full name is Carl Ross Everett. No middle name, but he has two first names so beat that.
- I don’t have an exact birthday for him, but he gives me massive male scorpio vibes (sincerely an afab scorpio)
- He’s a very odd fella; he’s old timey in some senses and pretty progressive in others.
- Guitar kid for sure. Weezer fan
- He’s pretty tall compared to the other two, but he still sits at 5’11”. It’s kinda funny.
- Fake Canadian
- Likes natural colors like browns, greens, etc.
- Also a beanie guy. Or like one of those paperboy hats? Absolutely.
- Carl doesn’t have a good relationship with Lauren nor Beth. He’s seen as a trouble kid and a sketchy friend from both sides, but Kate enjoys having the guy as a pal.
- Don’t undermine his off-putting tendencies though. Due to his lack of a healthy father figure, he doesn’t quite know what proper interaction is. He doesn’t do anything illegal, but he also doesn’t have a filter when it comes to his feelings.
- Despite being a friend of his, Kate still perceives him as awkward; he doesn’t have a grasp on social boundaries- especially in the romance department. Kate? Really isn’t that interested?
- If I had to assign him a social media platform to use, it’d be Reddit. He claims he doesn’t, but that’s when he’s scrolling Twitter.
- Probably left handed but raised to use his right, so either way his handwriting’s a wreck.
- Under the influence of that Thing (Slender, in this case), C.R.’s moral compass is completely knocked on its head. He’s quick to act versus think, and he turns into quite the emotional wreck.
- Lil bit of a backstabber honestly. Unlike Kralie I can’t see C.R. being a redeemable guy- even with the sickness. I just get the ick from him can you tell.
I’ll probably dump more at some point bc heavily regressing into SV again so lay ‘em on me.
Do you ship kate with anyone?
i have two pairings for kate; it depends on if we’re limiting it to the arrival alone or any character in general:
the obvious arrival choice is lauren. their relationship probably wasn’t active at the time of the in-game events (the lack of interactions to that point, lauren’s curiosity, etc. etc.), but i can see them having a healthy date here and there at some point. besides, C.R. being a big stinky about her knowledge is sus. (sidenote: who- as a casual friend- goes on an all day man hunt for someone they’ve lost touch with. kinda gay)
a personal guilty pleasure ship though has got to be with tim wright. call me a sucker for that man, but the two of them seem to have a solid base of shared trauma if they met. they also have more mature tones to them; healing (or coping) in that case would be easier with common knowledge.
Seeing all of the sudden Kate posts has made me,, very happy.

So thanks to a certain mutual, I have an addiction. But hey, check out this semi-new game if you need something like Clue...
Jeff: Jeff kinda sus though... He plays red and consistently self votes even when he’s not the Imposter. It makes him snort. (is that even possible when you don’t have a nose?). He doesn’t use hats, though.
Ben: Ben screams yellow for some odd reason. He prefers being Crewmate over Imposter, just because he’s a puzzle guy; no, it’s really because he likes watching the others freak out when the tasks aren’t done. His hat of choice is uhh... the beanie. Absolutely.
E. Jack: You can’t look at me and tell me he isn’t the best at this game. He mains white because it’s “easy” to blend in. He also likes having the face mask on his avi.
Jane: The most well rounded of the bunch- win some, lose some, it’s just the way the game plays. She prefers violet for her royal ass, as well as the flower. Play wise, she isn’t the most observing of who’s where.
Nina: Nina uses the sticky note and light green- very obnoxious but loving. They’re the one to sit on security until lights go out. That’s when they assume the tardiest person is the Imposter.
Tim: hates the game.
Brian: Brian’s... okay. He’ll be the passive Imposter and let the others eliminate each other until the end. Most of the times you’ll see him as the cyan with a cowboy hat. He wants to be a cowboy baby,,,
Lauren: Makes the games and is always first to the body reports. Despite the mere luck, she’s a dumbass and yells about her co-posters making dumb moves. She’s the one with the plunger, doesn’t main any color.
Kate: Oh dear. She’s always wants Imposter but sucks ass at the role. She’s always caught, and she always cusses under her breath when a plan doesn’t work out. Her main color is brown... filthy animal.
C.R.: Thought he’d be super invested in the game, bought it on PC and mobile, dropped money on all the DLC, and he’s too much of a dipshit to play at the same time as everyone. He plays on the Euro servers because they’re “cooler”, and he brags about being the irl “black with wet floor sign” player.
Helen: He’s dark blue, obviously, but he has a little bit of an attachment to the dummy crewmate hat. He’s also the speedrunner of his tasks, and he nails the admin card swipe nine times out of ten: a legacy.

• Ironically, Charlie sees The Chaser as a sane being who is there to protect him. Often their vessels would be found by the lake playing pretend or with whatever abandoned toys there were.
• This poor bby had insomnia and the Thing didn’t help his case: monsters under the bed not being real, huh dad?
• Lauren was his babysitter. 100%.
• He’d draw little blue blotches (intended to be stars) on this one classmate he had to remind her she had all of the galaxy in her blood- there was no need to travel far away and leave him behind.

• Would’ve been the kid to screech at Siri for listening in on his conversations although he had his thumb on the home button the whole time without realizing.

Home Life : “Beta” Kate…
•Lived alone with her mom- never knew who her dad was due to a pre-birth “accident”.
•Loved sleeping in… ALL the time.
•Played piano in her free time; if given the chance she would’ve taken a free ride through composition and performances.
•She’s not one to cook, but it comes the few days out of the year where she will.
•Attended Little Ranch High along with CR and Lauren. The bus ride would be an hour or longer and sometimes the occasional substitute driver would hear the Matheson rumors and not even drive them.
•Always did homework and other assignments in her room.
•After the North Cross note found in the game (It’s like scrapbook item 9 or something) and events in the original Eight Pages, Kate attempted to hang herself because of the constant pain from that thing. Since it was in the middle of latching onto his vessel, it was definite he’d bring his worst game only so she would soon be greeted with his true torture after.
•Closer to Lauren than CR; he seemed to always put Kate on edge within the last couple of years.
Lone / Chaser Kate…
•By now she’s been burned half to death; her lungs and throat have been dried of any near possibility of speaking. (She eventually does spoilers hah)
•When she was latched by the thing, she unconsciously decided CR would be the sacrifice to end the Hayes/Matheson curse. Of course, it still lingers and doesn’t piss off.
•She’s an isolated being who is haunted by manipulated thoughts it’s created to taunt her; most consist of her mother’s words and Lauren’s poorer actions being replayed in her mind. This can be assumed why Kate would have a reason to attack Lauren.
•As a way to survive, she often cannibalizes her few human victims and otherwise feeds off of small nearby animals or berries. Worst case scenario… it’s sticks.
•Bathes in a nearby river or Oakside Lake (Seen in The Eight Pages/Memories), but even then smells like ass. Someone give her a damn hot tub to relax her sore limbs in.
•Was occasionally able to interact with Charlie Matheson; this ended quickly due to her sharing with him and acting as though she were a sister or mother to him. The thing eventually killed him off in front of Kate by pulling him apart. This was the first time she had felt misery since becoming the monster she is.
•The thing labels her as #4 and claims it’s due to her “importance to it/how worthy she is”. She does not and has never interacted with the other three due to #2 being claimed dead and #3 deemed unspoken of. #1 is probably most mentioned as a “role model to follow behind.”
Stranded Life: “Alpha/Stranded” Kate…
•If she were to escape the thing’s grasp, which is very near impossible might I add, she’d have to tolerate a lot of therapy just for her mental and visual strains.
•She wouldn’t be able to accomplish her original intention of being a schoolteacher before everything went down. However, she’ll still silently volunteer wherever possible.
•Kate still has access to her mother’s house, and she’s usually hanging around there with a sliver of freedom.
•Upon initial “release”, the girl herself is temporarily mute from pulled vocal chords. She learned sign language and taught casual visitors/tourists/investigators some of the basics.
•She’s still assumed dead, so the case on The Chaser is dropped.
•Literally could drop dead any moment ?? She isn’t in the best conditions.
•Writes stories and scraps characters as her fictional friends due to the absence of any live ones. Her favorites are the beings representing Charlie and Lauren.
•Her “sliver of freedom” simply means she’s still faintly tied to that thing. She can’t necessarily escape, but she’s fled enough to wander as her own existence.
*Fluff Bonus: Gets her own pet dog or something. Possibly meets up with #1 through crazy coincidences.
