Did everyone forget about Tiana's mom?

I was thinking about Princess and the Frog today and I realized: did anyone tell Tiana's mom about the turning into a frog thing before Tiana and Naveen got married? From her POV, her daughter dropped off the map after the masquerade ball and reappeared several days later (maybe longer? We don't know the length of time between Ray's death and the swamp wedding) with a royal husband, claiming she spent that length of time as a frog.

That woman must as been confused as heck.

I don't think I could ever love a movie more than the princess and the frog. It's one of those movies that no matter how many times I watch it I will never get tired of it. One of those movies that you can't try to remake because it won't compare to the original. The movie makes me cry every single time I just can't get over how good it is. I feel like I have such a connection with. It's just literally the best movie I could ever watch.

This took me a PRETTY long time and also a lot of IRL delays, hence why I'm posting on such a weird day (Monday). But I'm SUPER happy with the end result and that I finally got to draw so many of my favs that I never had before (these were all chosen by me hehe).
