Reader stood beneath the overhang of their apartment building, off to the side so she wasn't in the way of those entering or leaving. Shifting side to side in their heels, they struggled to not reach for her phone to check the time or to see if there were any new texts from Kai.

The loud rev of a motorcycle had her searching the streets for the dark red, gold, and black cycle that Kai adored. It pulled up, with Kai flipping up his sunglasses, having decided against wearing his helmet, to flash them a wink and smirk.

"Flirt," Reader teased, the familiarity making Kai laugh. At least once a day, she called him a flirt, though recently they'd taken to calling him 'my flirt' if they were feeling particularly sappy.

"You know it, bombshell." Kai allowed his eyes to wonder over their attire, damn near salivating at the exposed skin of their chest and legs. Seeing that, Reader spun around to give him a full 360 allowing him to the design along the back of her leather jacket. "Holy shit, you look sexy."

Reader trailed their eyes over his attire, a red silk button up, black slacks, and boots, all pulled together with the leather jacket he wore over top. "You look good yourself."

He smirked, smugly smoothing a hand down the front of his shirt as she came closer. Perking up, he reached out to hook a hand around her thigh, looking up into their eyes, "Is this alright?"

"I'd stop you if I didn't like when you touched me, hotstuff." Reader rested a hand on his shoulder as their eyes flicked to his lips. Kai grinned, tilting his head back to watch their lips in turn.

"So, do I get a hello kiss?"

Huffing, Reader bent down, stopping before their lips could connect, "Don't push your luck, Kai. You still haven't taken me to dinner."

"Well then I guess we better get goin'. Wouldn't want you to miss out on the best date of your life." Kai scooted back a bit so she could sit in front of him.

"I'll have to ride sideways," Reader noted, sitting down in front of him. Their eyes flicked up towards him, searching his face to see if that was alright but he didn't seem to care, more preoccupied with watching her.

"Fine with me." Shifting closer, he carefully guided her legs to rest over his, using his other arm to tuck her more securely against his front. "Hold on tight, bombshell, don't want an accident."

Tucking her arms into Kai's jacket, they felt the shiver that ran down his spine as they rest their face against his chest. "Let's get going, shall we?"

"We shall."

The motorcycle ride was smooth, with Kai going the speed limit rather than shooting past all the cars and trying to make it before the light changed as he normally did. He later admitted to her that he didn't to mess anything up by getting either of them hurt or in trouble.

Kai pulled up to Morimoto's, a three story sushi and hibachi restaraunt with only the finest chefs allowed to work there. The building was old-fashioned in make, but it was very obviously new with a stream of actual koi fish swimming below the bridge one needed to get inside.

Reader was in absolute awe, a smile splitting apart her face as they saw the large sign above the restaraunt. "You remembered?"

Kai shifted, reaching up to rub the back of his neck, "You were so excited about the place, I might have wrote it down in my notes so I would remember it. For when I asked you on a date."

Turning, Reader grabbed his face to tug him down so they could kiss him. His hands immediatley dropped to their hips, squeezing as he tried to deepen the kiss.

"Not right now, Romeo. Maybe after dinner," Reader teased, pulling away. Kai gave her a dopey grin as he straightened up.

"It'll happen." He seemed incredibly confident in himself as he offered an arm for them to take.

Dinner was positively amazing, their chef making them and the others at the table laugh and cheer in awe. He seemed to employ everyone of his tricks, showing off as he served them.

Kai spent the time, watching Reader without being obvious about it. He was in awe of her smile and laughter, reaching out to gently rest a hand on their thigh, squeezing when they simply placed a delicate hand on his own.

And compared to his hands, scarred and heavily calloused from handling swords and fighting, theirs were delicate with smaller scars and callouses from sewing and drawing. Taking her hand, he raised it too press a kiss against their knuckles, smiling at the flush that spread across their cheeks.

Reader, of course, admired how handsome Kai looked, all dressed up in the warm lighting that brought attention to his tanned, scarred skin and brilliant amber eyes. They seemed to glow with fire anytime the chef ignited flames across his stove, much to her amazement. When his hand came to rest on her thigh, they thought their heart was going to beat straight of their chest. His calloused palm was warm, melting her straight down to her core and when he lifted her hand to his lips, she genuinly thought they were gonna become a puddle at his side.

Dessert was just as delicious, with Kai happily eating matcha basque cheesecake while Reader had picked out matcha tiramisu to try. Nudging him, Reader caught Kai's attention.

"Can I try your cheesecake? I've never had matcha cheesecake," Reader admitted. Scooping up a spoonful, Kai offered it too her, struck dumb when she reached forward to take the bite without taking the spoon as he'd assumed they'd do.

Kai watched her lips with rapt attention, unable to look away as she licked a little from her lips. "Its good."

"Yeah," Kai whispered, still stuck in a trance.

"Do you wanna try a bite of mine?"

"Huh, uh, yeah sure. Can't say I've had matcha tiramisu."

He decided to do the same thing she'd done to him, leaning forward to take the bite from her spoon. His core warmed at the smirk that ticked the corner of their lips up, her eyes focused on him with the same attention he'd given them.

After paying, Kai paid waving off her attempts to split the bill, and he even made sure to leave a generous tip for the chef since Reader had liked it so much.

"I did tell you how hot you look, didn't I bombshell?" Kai asked, smirking when she reached up to lightly tap a long nail against the clasps on their chest.

"You might've, but I don't seem to remember."

"Well, bombshell," Kai began, as they stopped in front of his bike, "You look absolutely, jaw-droppingly, ravishing. I'd get down on my knees anytime for you."

She laughed, startled by sudden raunchy joke, but felt a sense of pleasure curl along her spine. "I'm glad you like it. And you, my silver tongued flirt, look absoluteky stunning yourself all dressed up for me."

Grinning, they couldn't help but press their lips together. The kiss became far hotter than it should have, with Readers nails scraping Kai's scalp as his hand dropped to her thigh until a car honked.

"We should uh, probably get goin', huh?" Kai asked, laughing even as he glared after the car that interupted. "But, before that, I have a question for you."

"Go ahead," Reader murmured, hands cupping his cheeks.

"Will you be my girlfriend, or uh, partner?"

Reader smiled, throwing their arms around his neck, "Yes. Yes, I'll be your girlfriend."

Do you need my help?" – You looked at him and nodded several times. One glance was enough to understand that something was clearly wrong. But deciding not to say anything further, waiting until he told everything himself, you turned your attention to the sky, on which clouds were occasionally seen. The heart of the black ninja was not easy right now. The loss of his powers, as well as the knowledge that the object of his sigh must soon set off on a long journey somewhere far beyond this realm. It can be dangerous and scary in there, although she could handle it just fine. Knowing what you've been through. But he knows from this that his heart is still aching, she will be all alone again to relive it all over again. Did she really need to leave? After all that's happened? So much has happened in so many years of friendship! Who's going to make them chocolate chip cookies now when they lose the fight? You often cooked them something sweet when they were very tired after the next mission; gave them a hot bath; were a pillow for whining and tears; sometimes saved. It's so hard to forget. the special moments when the ninja gave free rein to his emotions, fell on her shoulder and cried, you just need to understand and accept them. Gathering all his strength, Cole placed her hand on top of hers, her arms full of scars from past battles. And he moved closer to her so that their knees touched. “ – You understand, don't you? Guys, I watched the movie "Love and Monsters" and just died on the spot. I hope you don't mind if I add something of my own and change it a bit......... But just imagine that there is a meteorite, blah blah blah, a nuclear attack, blah blah blah, radiation, blah blah blah, monsters, blah blah. So, the ninja team is sitting in their bunker (there are not only ninjas, but also other characters, such as Daryat and other ordinary residents of the city). Ninjas come to the surface for food and other useful things, perhaps they got their elemental powers from radiation (or maybe their elemental powers have always been with them, as you prefer). And so, one day Cole (DAMN IT, I LOVE HIM) comes to the surface in search of everything useful, wandering around an abandoned city, he has gone too far and realizes that he has a long way to go to his team.And that's why he finds some kind of cave, strange, what is she doing here??? And is it strangely deep??? What is this place?? Well, due to the fact that night is approaching, Cole decides to check what's there, going home is a dangerous idea, because mutant beetles, huge frogs and all that stuff are actively roaming at night. He goes deep into the cave, everything is quite habitable there, there is something like a bed, a bathroom and many, many different objects, especially sculptures, paintings and books (which used to be in the museums and archives of Ninjago City for only a few years). And suddenly he is surrounded on all sides by dozens, if not hundreds of huge snakes.That's where you show up, tell the snakes to back off, and they obey you. You come out into the light of the lamps, and he sees in front of him a very tall person with eyes like snakes, sharp teeth, (BONUS POINTS FOR HORNS) claws and a lot of scars all over his body, at least most of them hide your loose trousers, shirt, torn raincoat and bandages on his hands.You're just a disgruntled person who has been slightly touched by radiation, which is why you look a bit like a snake or a demon. And you just want to continue living in your cave, with your family of huge snakes.That's how your story with the black ninja begins, but I'm too lazy to write anything else🤯🤯

hey, it's just some stupid thought before bed. But just imagine: you (reader) are a powerful vampire from some noble family. yes, it was all a long time ago. And here is our Ninjago City. You no longer burn with the desire to senselessly kill people and forcefully drink their blood, nowadays you just work from home, sleep, drink blood (which you stole from the hospital ……) and again work 24/7. Everything would be fine, so it could go on for all eternity. Until you meet Cole on a dark night. A werewolf that doesn't seem to just leave you alone. He follows you on your heels, knows your address, all your social networks, the fact that you are a vampire does not bother him. And you think he's probably in love with you. How could he not fall in love with someone like you??? Your intimidating height (I JUST SO LOVE LONG Y/N), your tired face (damn you've been working for 10 years without a vacation already..), your strength (God I saw you defeat those snakes..). He's just a small and painfully in love werewolf. But you are too tired for all this and just try to ignore all the thousands of messages from some Black Ninja, cute flowers (which you throw away anyway because you don’t like them), all the gifts at the door (you only take hard alcohol and expensive cigarettes), those obsessive notes (you throw them in the trash). Last time, I think he left a bottle of blood.. Was that his???? You are just a very tired vampire who wants to live in peace and kick this werewolf out of his office.

Summary; Cole finally realizes he loves the reader when she’s the one he looks for during an attack.

It happened very quick. First Cole looked at you as a simple caregiver for baby Wu, the next he wondered- “why am I feeling this?”

When the storm hit the bounty and all thrusters were damaged that sent the bounty hurling towards Earth, Coles first instinct was to look for you and baby Wu. He hadn’t seen either of you for nearly two hours, so his body had went into both defensive and panic mode,

His feet are quick to slide into the room baby Wu was placed for his nap, the rough rocking of the bounty having caused Cole to nearly slam into the wall beside him.

Then he sees you, curled into the corner with baby Wu wailing against your front, head ducked to protect the infant.

Which results to you not seeing the shelf sliding in your direction. Cole is quick to rush forward and slide in front of you, both arms out to catch the shelf, thankful to the elemental gods for his super strength in that moment,

Cole kneels down to get a better grip on the shelf, turning his body so the shelf laid against his back and his eyes could scan your figure and the babies, “You okay?”

You nod, quickly, and flinch at the loud crack of thunder that erupted through the patter of the rain.

“The bounty’s going to crash land,” Cole breathes, rushed as your eyes flick back up to his in terror. At the rough jerk of the ship, you pressed yourself further into the wall, arms tightening around Wus bundled figure,

Cole grunts and shoves the shelf to the other side of the room, moving forward to curl his own arms around you, the sudden impact of the bounty meeting the ground causing you and him to both yell out, Coles body pressing you into the wall enough to know neither you nor Wu would get thrown around.

At the stillness and silence of the ship, you slowly lift your head from where it pressed to Coles chest, Cole leaning back enough to look down at where Wu peered out from your uniform, then up to the ninja of Earth.

Cole exhales, breathlessly, forehead knocking against yours as his eyes shut, then he completely pulls back, standing up with slow movements before helping you to your feet.

“Oh, good!” Nya relieves when you and Cole appear in her vision, Kai taking baby Wu, “You three are okay,”

Strymyr was looking at his phone as he looks outside before he noticed something in the sky, a flicker of green before shaking his head thinking that it was just his imagination as he continues to make his bombs (think of Powder/Jinx) 'looks good enough.' he thought as he yawned and went to bed, soon falling asleep in a sound sleep.

Meanwhile y/n was looking at the sword the ninjas managed to retrieve and look into it "what are you doing?" Kai said from behind her. She turned towards him "just looking at it. Is this really going to help u- I mean you save Lloyd?" She asked him with a bit of uncertainty "of course. What you're doubting us?" Kai scoffed as he crossed his arms "no, no. I'm just as worried as you guys. Ninjago need the green ninja" she said to him and he nodded at her "yup. And we need our friend. We'll save him,I know that. Now go to sleep, aren't you too young to stay awake at this hour?" He said to her, making her scoff at the belittling "I'm not a kid. But fine" she said and walked away from him, feeling her anger rise and walked in her room, slamming the door and going to bed.

A few days later

Y/n was with Misako, Nya and Wu on a small boat as they wait for the ninjas to come out of the FSM tomb "hey... aren't those ghosts?" Y/n said as she pointed at the three ghosts and before she could react they were soon getting attacked 'i can fight!' y/n thought to herself, her hands glowing with dark power 'no, this is not your fight to deal with' the spirit said in her head, stopping her from attacking back at the ghosts while Nya was handling them 'but Nya isn't trained enough' y/n said back to the spirit inside her mind 'no fighting for today ' the spirit said before disappearing from her head, making her sigh and go hiding inside the bounty.

After a while the fighting ended and she came out, noticing Wu, Nya and Misako were looking at something and she followed their gaze and saw the ninjas and Lloyd outside the cave. Her eyes widened at the sight Lloyd alive, weak but alive at last. She felt like she wanted to hug him but couldn't move as Misako, Wu and Nya go to them and hugs Lloyd along with the ninjas, leaving her there standing, once again, making her feel like she doesn't belong in their group 'they look so... perfect. Like no one is missing...of course what else did I expect? I need to go to my room to exercise my training' she thought to herself and walked inside the bounty again, casting a glance at the group again, especially Misako and Lloyd 'mother and som, what more should one need' she thought and got back inside and into her room. Once she was inside she saw her favourite bracelet, the one Lloyd made for her when they were still the same age, before the whole TOMORROW'S TEA . She looked at the bracelet and ina fit of anger, disappointment and sadness she broke it, watching as the marples fall and roll on the ground. She sat in bed and lied down before closing her eyes 'maybe a good sleep will do me good' she thought and soon fell asleep.

Meanwhile Namir was in her room thinking about something while Phytios was playing on his phone "hey what's up? You have that look again" he asked his twin and sits up in her bed and looked at her "something is going to happen...I don't know what is though. Don't you feel it?" She asked him worried. He put down his phone and sighed "yeah, I felt it. It's like in the wind and I don't know how to describe it but it's definitely going to be life changing" he said to her and she looked at him worried and confused "should we contact Strymyr?" "Definitely"

Strymyr was in his room as he takes his braids off and was looking at himself in the mirror before his phone rang., he picked it up and put it in hands-free mode "yeah?" "Hey Stry, me and Phytios felt like something is going to happen that will change everything. We wanted to know if you also felt it" Namir said on the phone "yeah...yeah I felt it. I think it has to do with y/n. Listen I’m almost at Stiix, you guys are in your home right?" "Yeah, we’ll talk more when you come here" Namir said to him and hung up the call. He stopped what he was doing and thought about it and the looked outside "...let’s hope everything is ok"

Meanwhile

The spirit was meditating as it sat on the lake waters before opening it's eyes in an instant

As the ninjas came back with the sword of Sanctuary, y/n was watching them discuss if they should trust Ronin's instructions towards the first spinjistu master's tomb 'they're looking for my grandfather's tomb... should I try and find it through my powers?' she thought to herself 'no...mama said to not engage until further instructed. They'll he fine' she thought as she gives one last glance at them and goes to her room. She goes to fix herself after training, I'm thinking moment she noticed that her hair became longer but she didn't give much thought in it and just put it in a ponytail and laid in bed and grabbed her phone and started to text her friends:

Sassy: they're discussing about another thing to save Lloyd

Mind-reader: can they do it well dressed this time? They always looking like rainbow crew

Sassy: why are you in Stiix?

Stopcausingtrouble: for the carnival. We have some relatives here and we always come here for the carnival

Sassy: I'd love to ignore whatever you just said but I gotta go. Misako is coming to my room

All of them: bye!

Y/n put her phone in charge and looks up at the ceiling and looked at her door as Misako came in "what do you want Misako?". Misako looked a bit hurt at being called by her name and not 'mum" like Lloyd calls her "I just... wanted you to know that we got the sword and we have found the tomb... we'll get Lloyd", y/n looked at her and nodded at her before turning around "yeah well, I'm tired so goodnight Misako" she said to her. When she heard misako close the door, y/n looked at her glowing dark orb and closes it in her fist and laid in bed, closing her eyes and thinking of one thing

"don't worry Lloyd... I'll end this. I'll finally show what I'm capable of and maybe... you'll see me as your sister again"

Meanwhile the spirit watches y/n as she sleeps as it leans against the door before following Misako to where the ninjas were gathered as it listens to their plan of searching for the tomb. It was wearing a neutral expression as it listens to them speaking before putting it's gaze to Misako and for once it felt a weird sensation, like a type of feeling you can't get off no matter what, that is itching from inside and feels like water like it's about to boil to it's extreme, then it realised that that feeling was hatred, hatred towards the ninjas for ignoring y/n, hatred towards Wu for only caring about Lloyd and the ninjas as if y/m wasn't his own niece, hatred towards Garmadon for when he was alive and not evil but only focusing on his son and not his daughter too, and especially hatred towards Misako for not only abandoning y/n when she was a small child in a school with a negative type of environment for her, but also coming back and only caring and focusing on Lloyd as if she never had a daughter in the first place 'you fool. All of you. I will not let you hurt her anymore. She's not your daughter anymore, she's my lighthouse and I will never let anyone hurt her again' it thought before walking away and back to y/n. It reached her room and went inside and walked towards the bed with a determination expression on it's face but stops once it reached the bedside and looked at y/n's sleeping face, one of the only moments in her life that she looked peaceful. It felt a sudden sensation of guilt and sadness "I'm sorry child, but your path will change.... I'm so sorry for what will become of you when that day will arrive. I hope you can forgive me, dear lighthouse" it said before kissing softly her head and tucking her in. It disappeared from the room and reappeared outside after making sure no one else was. Then it noticed a change in the wind and in the sky '....looks like the preeminent is arriving soon. But it won't know what will come once she's here. You'll be stopped, one way or another.

That is a promise'

Wooooow it has been a while since I wrote here, I'm sorry for the wait but I was extremely busy this month with school and everything, hope you all like it and remember to stay hydrated and have a good night/evening/ morning (I need to follow my own advice but energy drinks are an addition)

Agh!" Reader groans as she felt another kick on her face., she betterns her fighting stance and looks at the spirit and counterattack it's moves, dodging another kick and going to punch it on the jaw, making it dizzy for a moment, and so, using the moment of distraction, she kicks it side and then knees it under the chin, making it fall on the ground. Jus as the spirit is about to get up, a small dark orb is on front of its face, stopping it "don't move" reader warns as she stands on its chest, panting heavily due to the intense and long practice. The spirit looks surprised by the action before it smiles at her proudly and gets up "good job you're ready..." Reader looks at it in glee "physically" it ends the sentence, making her smile flatter.

"What? What do you mean? I've beaten you" she said to it in impatience and frustration, "you did but you have a heavy burden on your chest. You're not ready emotionally and spirituality. You need to let go of such burden" it sits down on the ground and takes a meditative stance. Reader looks at it in anger and frustration and goes to leave the training ground before a wall of light stops her in her tracks. She looks towards the spirit and freezes at the stern look on its face "you cannot leave until you've let go of your burden. Sit" it said in a way to show that it won't take any protest. Reader looks at it before sighing and sitting down, mirroring its meditative stance.

An hour pass and reader opens her eyes to check on the spirit, trying to gauge it's expressions "so not look at me. You still haven't let go of your resentment and anger", its words surprised Reader who looks at the spirit in shock before trying to hide her frustration "I'm not angry " she said.

The spirit opens it's eyes and looks at her "do not lie to me child, I can see through you", and because of those simple words reader's facade falls and she sighs "... I'm not angry... I'm sad... I'm frustrated that I lost my twin...no...my brother, just my brother" she said as she looks down, not noticing the figures that were starting to represent what is happening in her mind "I mean, not physically of course but I lost him in all the other senses, because I'm alone. Before the ninjas, before Wu, before everything, it was just me and Lloyd against the world, trying to follow our father steps in conquering the world, something all kids wanted to do" she says, the figures representing her and Lloyd, when he was still in a child's body, playing together and scheming together "but then...the tomorrow's tea accident happed and everything changed. He stopped playing, he stopped talking or even notice me anymore...it was like, I became a stranger to him...and that hurt" she says as tears starts falling down her child's face "....It really hurt... because he was the only family I had left. Our father was Lord Garmadon and our mother abandoned us...and when she...when she came back she only focused on Lloyd and I felt once again overlooked, unimportant. The ninjas, our uncle and our parents focused on him and no one seemed to notice me unless I made myself known by throwing a tantrum or when I'm alone with one of them...and even then... it's like they can't see me for me... just Lloyd's former twin and now just his little sister. All I want is for someone to see me, not Lloyd's sister, not a Darkley student, not lord Garmadon's daughter or master Wu's nine, but as Reader Garmadon. Is that so hard to do?..I guess it is if no one could do that. I'm not part of their family...I will never be" she says with her hands on her hair, looking like she was struggling to hold back from ripping it apart.

the spirit looks at her sympathetic and straightens it's stance "what about your friends? Strymyr, Namir and Phytios? Do they not see you?" It asks softly "my friends?...they do see me but...they don't know how I really feel but... they're also the only people who seem to care about me" she says as she calms down a bit, breathing slowly to calm her nerves "and do you care about them?" It asks "...I do...I really do. they're my best friends... they're my family" she smiles to herself at the realisation and looks at the spirit with tears in her eyes still falling down. The spirit leans closer and wipes her tears away with a small smile "... you're ready" it says softly. Reader's eyes widens and she smiles widely and hugs it "thank you...mom" she said softly. The spirit looks shocked and smiles softly and hugs her back "it's alright my sweet baby" it says.

Soon Reader falls asleep due to the strain of the training and the emotional baggage she unfolded. The spirit holds her and walks inside the monastery and walks towards Reader's room when it heard the ninjas talking about needing to go to the Eye of the Storm to find the realm's crystal. It listens to them talking before looking at Reader sleeping in their arms and walking away and to her room. It puts her under the blankets and tucls her in and kisses her forehead without a soft tone it says

“Good night my baby, save your strength and energy for the battle when it will come"

Fun fact about reader from Pure light:

When she was a kid she would always get hurt and due to her destructive powers, inherited from sir Lord Garmadon himself, the pain would be a little bit more painful and it will take a long time for the injury to heal.

Reader was watching Nya cleaning around the shop after making sure that Morro wasn't there anymore, she was getting bored easily until she noticed Wu and Misako talking, well, more like whispering. She looked at them curious and confused until her eyes glow for a moment and was now able to hear what they were saying "you have to tell Nya ,she's ready" Misako whispered to Wu as he gave up and they both walk towards Nya. Reader looked at them curious as she listened from behind the counter as they didn't noticed her being there too, as usual, and soon they talked about Kai not being the only one with an element in their family "Nya, you're the water ninja" Misako said to her, and before reader could process the information Nya fainted "uh, i guess she really wasn't ready" Misako commented. Reader looked at Nya before sneaking back to her room, confused on how she was able to hear them whisper from such a long distance "i enhanced your senses" a voice said from behind her. She got startled and looked behind and sees the spirit again "spirit! You did what?" She asked curious "I enhanced your senses. You can see more than the average, hear more clearly and much more. You need it for your training" it said as it looked at her "training? You mean now?" She asked curious as she followed the spirit into the backyard of the shop "your uncle will train Nya into becoming the water ninja, but what we need now is you training for your purpose of saving your brother, I'm sorry, I mean Lloyd" it said remembering how she stopped referring him as her brother. She looked in awe "oh my god, yes! I need to-" "you can't tell your friends, this is an important matter and they can't know or they'll distract you. Or do you not want to save the green ninja?" It asked as it raised its eyebrow "no! No no, I do want to save him..." She looked at her phone before putting it away "let's do this" she said determined and the spirit smirked at the determination from her

Hours later

Reader was panting heavily from the intense training as she was sweating and fighting the spirit, trying to hit it before finally kicking it's face "oh my god, I'm sorry" she said worried about it being made, but instead it laughed for the first time "in real battlefield, you don't apologize to your enemies for hitting them. You learn fast, fast enough for me. Enough training today, your ninjas are coming back home. Go shower and hear what they found" it said before disappearing. She looked at the place where the spirit was a moment ago before sighing and going to take a shower and change into her pajamas. She walked and went to the ninjas and listened them explaining how they're another way to get the scroll for airjistu and that is the temple of master Yang. She looked at them confused before the spirit voice said in her head 'the earth ninja will become a ghost, don't say anything about it. One step ahead' it said to her. Shw looked around, wanting to warn them, especially Cole, but remembered he how no one ever noticed her and if that were to happen to her, they probably would have done nothing to warn her for the good of the mission, so she stayed quiet and looked at Cole for a moment before looking away and walking to her bedroom and getting in bed.

"reader?" Misako said from the door "would you like for me to tuck you in?" She asked as she stepped inside the room "no, I'm not a little kid, I can tuck myself just fine" reader said, still bitter about her abandoning her and Lloyd Darkley academy, and even if her broth- no, if Lloyd forgave her, she couldn't as she was always a mama's girl and it hurt for her a lot being abandoned by her own mother, feeling like she wasn't good enough foe her enough to stay. It didn't help that when she came back, her sole focus was Lloyd and barely noticing her unless they were alone in a room.

Misako looked like she wanted to protest but then nodded and closed the door.

Reader looked at the ceiling before she felt her eyes growing heavy and ,before she could understand, she fell asleep. The spirit appeared again and tucked her in, covering her body in the blankets and softening the pillow. It bent down in front of her and brushed a strand of hair away from her eyes before smirking and looking satisfied

"good night little lighthouse, this is just the begging of your life"

Reader was walking around the city when she and her friends noticed the ninjas in weird uniforms "uhhh, why are they dressed like that?" Namir asked confused and a bit amused by their looks as reader sighed in embarrassment "it's... Wu's tea shops uniforms" she said sheepishly as she rubbed the back of her neck "you mean the one he's trying to make a business out of?" Phytios said as he took a bite of his candy"yup" she confirmed it as they all looked at the ninjas showcasing their powers"... where's your brother? Isn't he always with them?" Strymyr asked as he looked at each of the ninjas but didn't find Lloyd"I don't know, all I heard from his conversation with the ninjas is him going to the museum to help" she shrugged her shoulders, she never knows where her brother is unless she eavesdrops the conversations between him and his 'family'. After a while they got bored and it was time to go back to their respective homes so she walked back into the tea shop on the mountain "hi reader, welcome back..I didn't know you were out" Misako said with caring visible in her voice. Reader just nodded at her and went behind the counter to the cash register as the first two clients came, a mother and a daughter, clearly close to one another, making reader feel bitter as she only saw that happen between Lloyd and Misako. Just as she was about to give them the bill for the teas they chose, the ninjas barged in in a clear state of panic, all talking over one another "ninjas, calm down. Can't you see? We have our first clients" Wu said as he pointed at the mother and daughter. The little girl, who looked around reader's age, which is 10, stared at the ninjas in awe and admiration 'ugh, great another fan of the oafs' she thought in bitterness. She looked at Wu and to her surprise she saw a look of worry in his eyes "ninjas, you four weren't my first pupils" he said but gets interrupted by the little girl pointing outside. Reader follows her line of sight and sees Lloyd "Look, it's Lloyd!" The little girl said in excitement, but reader has a feeling in her chest, like a heavy stone is there as she looked closer 'that is not Lloyd' she thought.

One thing led to another and now she was hiding behind the counter as whatever took Lloyd's body was fighting with master Wu and Nya after the ninjas got defeated by him. She peeked her head from the counter before seeing some symbols coming out of the old staff that Wu always carries with him. Fortunately before the possessed Lloyd could ran away with the staff Nya let a shelf fall and stop him, making reader gasp out of worry for Lloyd but then remembering that that thing was not her brother. She soon ran out of the shop with Nya and to the Bounty, along with the others ninjas.

She looked around worried as she counted the people on the ship "where's Kai?" She said because even though she didn't like him or Nya, she didn't want for them to be separated like she and Lloyd now are, and for a while have been after the tomorrow's tea incident. The ninjas looked at her before noticing Kai fighting with Lloyd, or whatever took his place. Soon Nya brought down the Bounty's anchor and grabbed Kai as they flew away. Reader sighed in relief for a brief moment before noticing something "he's following!" She yelled loud enough to be heard . The others look outside as they noticed the possesed Lloyd flying on a dragon "quick use your powers!" She yelled at the ninjas "we can't! We lost them!" Jay tells out of panic "what?!" She yelled back, now panicking too. Soon Wu interjected before the panic could escalate "I need to deciph the symbol on the staff before he can!" And then Zain added "me and Kai will protect you while Jay and Cole fight off that guy!" He explained the plan as he, Wu and Kai already run inside "what?! Why do we have to do that?!" Jay said, still in a stage of panic "cause I'm the smart one" Zain added with a hint of cockyness in hus tone, making reader roll her eyes before running to hide in her room. As soon as she got there she sighed in relief before yelling surprised and shocked and scared as she sees a spirit in front of her "who are you?! Are you with whatever took my brother's place?!" She tells before the spirit kneld down in front of her "I'm not here to cause you arm. I know you feel useless, unable to do anything to help except hide and hope for the best. You want to help save your brother from Morro right?" It said as it voice was neutral and calm despite the situation "... Morro?..yes, I want to help. But I'm useless, my powers cause destruction. I inherited all my father's bad things and obviously Lloyd had to inherit all his good traits." She said bitterly as she felt the heavy feeling on her chest again "I can help you change it all. But this must require focus, determination and the understanding that it will come to a cost" it said to her, looking at her as it sat down in front of her by the door "...will this helping me save my brother from Morro? Whoever that it" she asked "you care for him, Why? He abandoned you for his new family with the ninjas and your uncle Wu? Why do you want to save him?" It asked curious "I'm not doing it for myself, I know me and him will never be close again. But Ninjago needs it green ninja and the ninjas need their brother. I will do anything, even sacrifice myself if I have to, just so Ninjago could have their precious hero back" she explained determined to the spirit "so can you help me or not?" She added with a glare, as menacing as it can be coming from a 10 year old as if to warn the spirit to choose wisely "you're determined, focused on your goal and ready for whatever the cost may be. I will train you, little lighthouse, to transform your darkness.." it took her hand and showed a black and purple flame on her hand "..into to light" it finished his sentence as it maked the previous dark and cold flame into a bright and warm one. She looked at the flame on her hand in awe before the Bounty crashed again something "I have to go now, but do not worry, I will be back" it said before disappearing in thin air.

Soon the night came and they all looked at Wu for an explanation on what actually happened and so he explained the story of his first pupil, who he previously in the past thought was going to be he green ninja and was named Morro, making reader look at him in surprise as she reckoned the name from the spirit 'so he was his first pupil? Uh' she thought as they continued to listen before the ninjas asked their own questions and the falling asleep, soon getting followed by Nya and Wu. Reader stayed awake as she looked at the sky 'wherever you are spirit, I hope you are right and can teach me how to save Lloyd' she thought before falling asleep on the floor, nor having noticed said spirit looking at her from on top of tree branch with one thought in mind

Reader was getting ready to go out with her new friends from Darkly, Strymyr and two new kids who she had met a few days ago and gotten extremely along with, the twins Namir and Phytios. They kinda reminded her how things used to be with Lloyd and it was a very bitter feeling to handle but she liked them and enjoyed their company. She put on some pants and open shoes as it was hot outside and a t-shirt. As she went to her mirror she tied up her hair before deciding to keep it loose as she didn't like how she looked like with tied up hair in a ponytail. She wanted to go tell Lloyd about her new friends but when she first talked about them she immediately got interrupted by him.

"Lloyd! Lloyd! Guess what? I hav-"

"not now Reader, I'm training. Come on guys we can do better!" He said as he didn't even spared her a glance as he went back to the training grounds, leaving her by the door of the monastery.

"oh, okay." She said as she looked down at the floor before whispering to herself "I got new friends at school" she said as she felt tears prickle her eyes. To not be seen by the others and Master Wu she immediately went to her room and locked the door as she sat down on the mattress of the bed and cried as silent as she could so no one would ask her how she was, because she only wanted Lloyd to ask her that but he didn't even bother to look at her when he dismissed her joy in making friends at their, well her, school. She cried on her pillow as memories started to flood her mind and before she knew it, she fell asleep during her crying and didn't have dinner.

But now she decided to not indulge in the memory of that day as she finally checked everything she got and sneaked out of the monastery, since the ninjas didn't know about her friends and she wanted to keep it that way, too much of her once regular life has been disrupted by them when they came to her's and Lloyd's lives and she wanted at least one normal thing away from all the chaos the ninjas seem to like causing: her friends, and she'll be damned if she let this small ounce of normality slip away from her fingers. She finally reached the bus and as per usual she put on her headphones and began daydreaming under the beat of the music. She was happy today because she wouldn't have to deal with Lloyd for a while, as he went to the museum to help out and probably wouldn't be back until later. Unfortunately for her, she didn't know that this, was only the start of a new chapter in her life, one that will change everything she knew.

As she arrived at the park she immediately recognised the twins arguing about something and Strymyr looked at them unimpressed in their shenanigans.

She reached her group and stood next to Strymyr "what are they're arguing about this time?" She asked him "I honestly have no idea, they went from what kind of pancake topping is better to insulting their family members, not remembering that they have the same family members" he said to her as he sips his pineapple juice (ps: IT'S A GOOD JUICE OK?!) "...I swear sometimes I wonder how they got the the grade we are in right now" she said shaking her head in fake annoyany "there's a line between a smart person and a dumb one, they use that line as jump on a rope game" he said chuckling and causing her to laugh too "hey!!" The twins said as they heard what he said and then noticed Reader "reader! I'm so happy you're here, these boys are a PAIN!" Namir said as she hugged her and looked at her outfit "I love the matching purple shoes and shirt and the black with the hair clips" she said in awe and reader liking the attention and feeling a bit dramatic twirled around "you like it?" She said "yeah you look good, for once" Phytios adds and reader looks at him in indignation "that's it!" She started to chase him as he immediately apologized and runs away.

"I correct myself, this whole group is using that line as a jump on a rope game" Strymyr said chuckling at seeing Phytios struggle to run away from Reader

"that means you too Stry. You're also part of this group" Namir teased him as she fixed her black dress as it was her favourite colour along with dark green due to her own eyes being that colour and it reminds her of the forest

"...damn" he said in realization that he is not out of the equation "fine we're all stupid and smart at the same time.... wanna hack our school's system so we can see our grades on that test we took?" He asked with a mischievous smirk "you don't even have to ask" Namir said as the other two returned and looks at them with a smirk of their own as they heard the conversation "don't keep us out of the fun" Phytios said as he's the most mischievous of the group "never" Strymyr said as he typed on his phone and they all circled him "sweet" reader said as she looked over his shoulder to see him in the work of hacking the system.

They all didn't notice teh spirit watching them from one of the city's alleys, especially reader

I chose this song because I feel like it talks about friends and his people can view them as their home, also other than lighthouse by Nana Kraljic this is my second favourite song of ever.
