guys guys this might sound crazy but maybe we don't name our Chuuya Nakahara lovechild ocs after the real life Chuuya Nakahara's son who died of tuberculosis at 20 months old. maybe we consider being respectful to a man who never fully recovered from his son's death and had a nervous breakdown because of it. I know the whole point of BSD is mixing real life authors and stories into an anime but i don't want to see the name of a dead toddler reused for your Soukoku lovechild OCS on my feed, or anywhere at all. that's extremely disrespectful and just plain insensitive in my opinion. the sufferings of someone who actually lived in real life did not happen in any way for you to used to make your OCS quirky or more connected to Chuuya Nakahara. <3

damn me too, i'm sick of hori pulling some cheap baits of sad past, pitiful moment for those villains instead of showing more that they are wrong. like, he clearly did that, calling out their faults. but those callouts just... passed like a background instead of weighting the actual importance of its meaning? that's why i'm so frustrated with the dabi-shouto battle. hori never emphasizes the faults of the villains. instead he threw in all the bullshits found family this, sad past that, corrupt system this, bad heroes that, and i disgust this action.

Okay I don't usually get serious on this page but like... this Lavendertowne "situation" is kind of ridiculous. I didn't watch the video she posted when it came out, but I have seen the designs, and they're honestly completely fine for someone who hasn't watched the show (which I'm pretty sure she hasn't). Are they as good as some other designs she's done? No, but that doesn't change the fact that she's an excellent artist, and HUMAN. People can have a bad art day, and frankly, I don't even she dropped the ball that badly on this, but the amount of backlash and just generally horrible comments I've seen about this is genuinely sickening. No, her skills are not declining. No, this isn't the downfall of Lavendertowne, you are all just desperate for controversy. Stop being dramatic and leave the poor woman alone. And to Lavendertowne if you ever see this (which I doubt but y'know), you are absolutely wonderful, you inspired me to start drawing in the first place back in 2017, and many others too. Keep doing what you do, and I'm sorry so many people on the internet suck xx

i would pay several hundred dabloons to see orlando bloom play a book-accurate legolas. i completely understand how they probably had to tone his character down or else he would’ve taken all the spotlight lol, but can you imagine orlando bloom fucking SCREAMING at the sight of a balrog

I have a lot of respect for both DMs. But, ngl I get salty when Matt denies a nat 20 depending on the type of check/save. Whereas Brennan goes above and beyond to reward nat 20s (which makes sense for short episodic campaigns that thrive on big swings) with the understanding that nat 1 will be just as devastating. 

i've been listening to critical role and so far the main difference between that and d20 is that on a nat 20 matt will be like you succeed :) with some extra flavor whereas brennan will drop to his knees and slit his own throat if the player asked

Sylus is a TEDDY BEAR for MC he would never scare her with severed body parts or subject her to deranged antics to feed his own dark & twisted pleasure. He wouldn’t murder any man that looks at her. He’s the epitome of “my girl can wear what she wants because I can fight” and he’s secure in himself.

He’s ready for her WHEN SHE’S READY. He is patient and straightforward with his intentions. He never forced her to be with him. The only thing he forced was trying to resonate with her.

Did he watch us from afar? Yes. Is he rough? Yes. Would he kill for you? Absolutely. Would he ever shove his blicky up your kitty? FAWK NO.

Don’t compare my man to those stalker dark romance book men they’re completely different. & this is coming from someone who is an avid dark romance reader.
