Ok, Witches! I Gotta Tell You About Meteorological Symbols!

Ok, Witches! I Gotta Tell You About Meteorological Symbols!

Ok, witches! I gotta tell you about meteorological symbols!

There’s one for every weather condition you can think of! You can probably find a longer list in the back of a dictionary, or just search Google images.

You can use them as sigils on their own, or use them as inspiration to make your own sigils!

Use them for weather summoning!

Use the symbols as a substitute for certain weather conditions! For example, if a spell calls for rainwater and you live in the desert, use the meteorological symbol for heavy rain.

Use the metaphorical attributes of the symbols in spells! For example, a hurricane for added energy, or fog for concealment.

The list goes on!

I Feel Like Rune Magic Doesn’t Get Enough Credit Or Recognition In The Modern Pagan World And It Really

I feel like Rune Magic doesn’t get enough credit or recognition in the modern Pagan world and it really should. Runes are so easy to use, are great for beginners and experts alike. I’ve scanned a few Runes in here with their power and how to apply that power. Keep in mind you can use Runes in any way you feel comfortable. Sometimes, I just draw a Rune on my hand, that way I’m reminded of my spell or wish nearly every moment. Runes are the perfect visualization tool. Put them to good use!

Difference between a jinx, hex and curse

I felt like people searching my tags would need a little clarification on the difference between a jinx, hex and curse (according to me).

A jinx is a form of malevolent magic where the subject gets bad luck, minor misfortunes. It’s simple, nasty, but isn’t meant to seriously harm someone. Usually only lasts a little while. A hex is a form of malevolent magic, more powerful than a jinx. Lasts longer, and is usually “broken” when the subject learns their lesson. A curse is the most powerful, and if done well it can last a lifetime or even longer. Can be cast on a person or family, and can last forever or until something is done to atone for whatever caused then to be cursed.

Reading Candles for Yes/No Answers

High, steady flame: Yes

Low, steady flame: No

Short, weak flame: No

Dancing flame:Needs more focus. Reground and try again.

Violent flickering flame: Strong no. Take this as a warning if you are certain this isn’t caused by an outside force or natural defect in candle.

Sputtering/Cracking flame: There is more to your answer than a simple yes or no,

Dual flame: Thinking, wait for answer.

Flame leaning to left: Yes

Flame leaning to right: No

Candle will not light: Ask later

Candle will not go out: You are not done yet. There is more you need to hear.

Candle goes out during session: Now is not the time to ask.

🍀 Oxalis In Magic! 🍀
🍀 Oxalis In Magic! 🍀

🍀 Oxalis in Magic! 🍀

🌱 Oxalis is a very common plant, and a great natural resource for beginning witches because of that!

🌱 Oxalis is bound to Venus and Earth, love and home respectively. This makes the plant perfect for home protection and similar spells home oriented.

🌱 They are also commonly mistaken for clovers! Which makes them great for glamours, they are able to masquerade as something other than themself without trying. The glamour can be made for love especially, because of the ties to Venus mentioned earlier.

🌱 They can be used for luck, not only because of their looks relating to clovers, but because of their own lucky and abundant properties. Use in money and wealth spells for abundance and prosperity, as well as luck spells!

🌱 These plants spread deep roots, which means they can help you with grounding. They are good to eat so consider eating some and grounding yourself before big magical endeavors!

🍀Overall we can see that Oxalis is a very versatile plant, used for love, luck, home, abundance, grounding, glamours. So go out and collect some!🍀

Happy Witching!✨

Green witch tip

When planting mint in your garden, plant it in its own pot rather than in the ground itself or it will quickly spread and take over the flower bed

Lilacs

Today I picked lilacs which are EVERYWHERE around where i live. Im drying them out right now to get them ready to make oil! With the oil ill be making a skin care cream! Heres what Ill do Steps: 1. Let lilacs dry for about a week or so 2. put dried lilacs and base oil (such as olive, sunflower, etc) in a jar and let it sit for about a month, shaking every day 3. Use oil (i prefer with herbs still in) mixing with bees wax (a base for creams and lotions, etc). 4. Put aloe vera in the cream and there ya go!. Both aloe and lilac are good for skin conditions and sunburns. Such as rashes, sunburns, acne and many more! I’ll update as things progress! Geez by the time i finish… Ill have TONS of cream/lotion/what ever
