This is a monthly event to celebrate the rarepairs in our fandom!

🌟  How can I join?

Every month, from the 1st until the 3rd, all you need to do is post a work of a BBS rarepair and tag it with #bbsrarepairtime so that I can reblog your work here! 

🌟  What do you mean by “work”?

Art, writing, doodles/drabbles, aesthetics, playlists- anything and everything is welcome!! What’s really important is that you have fun with your creations :D

🌟  What is/isn’t a rarepair?

This link is a full list of pairings that are not considered rarepairs. You’re free to create content for them on these days of course, as long as you don’t tag #bbsrarepairtime.

Guidelines:

>| Please tag #bbsrarepairtime within the first five of your tags.

>| Make sure to tag the pairing as well. If you’re unsure about the ship name, tag all of the possible combinations and “[name]/name]” or “[name]x[name]”.

>| Please don’t tag the members who use tumblr / are uncomfortable with shipping (eg: mini, bryce etcetc).  RPF (shipping) should stay within the fandom as much as possible. And there it is! This was my first time doing anything like this and honestly not only was it lots of fun, but the response was amazing! I was really surprised at how much people liked it. It’s a little late unfortunately, but that’s what I get for taking on something this big haha.

I wanted to take on this topic for week two because for a long time Stanley didn’t have anyone he could look to to protect him. The authority figures in his life treated him like garbage, and no one ever spoke on his behalf or intervened. Not even when his teacher bad mouthed him directly to his family’s face. The fact that a teacher could speak about him that way to his parents without any hesitation is horrifying. It’s no wonder Stanley has self esteem issues.

I went with the idea of using the tattoo because Ford would essentially be taking a scar that represents a particularly painful memory in their history, and turning it into a symbol of protection and family, mimicking their relationship in the show. You can’t erase the scars of your past, but you can change how you view them.

I’m thinking I might start doing more comics in the future, since I ended up enjoying it more than I thought I would. Thank you very much for reading my comic!
