some of you may have seen the ask that i received last week about @/princeofsparks (also known as Axel).

i responded to this ask with my sympathies and an invitation for the person who sent the ask to dm me if they’d like. they did, and since speaking with them and hearing more of their story, i decided it would be best to create a more “official” post addressing the situation.

their original ask can be found below. i cropped the images at the ends of sentences to make it all easier to read, but no text was edited.

if you look to their last paragraph, they mention screenshots. i have seen the screenshots, and i can confirm they prove that Axel was talking to this person when he was 18 and they were 16. the two of them did not discuss anything explicitly sexual, but they did discuss tickling, and there was talk of a potential meet-up.

i’ve decided not to share the screenshots because by doing so, this person would inevitably lose their anonymity, which they would like to keep. if you choose not to believe us, that’s your choice, but frankly, this would be a really fucked to thing to lie about. anyway…

now, these conversations were 2–3 years ago, and i don’t want to jump to any conclusions about the present. people can change a lot in 2–3 years, especially from 18–20 years old. anon and i are not necessarily making claims, accusations, or assumptions that Axel is currently talking to or grooming minors.

however, we do know that he was talking to minors a few years ago and that he was a part of the mod team that was aware of Maya’s (previously @yourgigglebugmaya and @giggly-girl-maya) behavior, so of course, we’re worried there’s a possibility that he still is, and we just want to make sure that everyone stays safe.

anon shared with me “even if I inspired at least one other person to come forward it’s enough for me, even if it gets people thinking, it’s enough. I want to make sure he’s not still doing this for the safety of everyone”

my goals for this post are 1) to hold not only Axel, but everyone who held any degree of authority in that discord server accountable for both speaking to minors and for allowing minors in the server in the first place and 2) to spread awareness and remind everyone of this ongoing issue in our community. discussing tickling with minors in any context is not appropriate.

my goals are not to “cancel” Axel or to direct any hate towards him (or Kirb). however, i believe that it’s important to take accountability and to provide assurance that this behavior is not currently happening and will never happen again.

also, if the server that started all of this does still exist, it is my personal recommendation that people leave it (or ideally that it be deleted altogether).
