Character Trope concept (#3?)

A character who was born mute/had a horrible accident, completely destroying their ability to speak, now only speaks through images.

Character speaks in essentially gifs and memes because they can't speak otherwise, and if they're in a group chat, then they might just leave reactions under stuff because they're so used to not actually being able to get the words across.

Their phone/device gallery is just filled with memes and images that they send to others to talk to them.

When they figured out emojis, it was a huge game changer because now, they could be a bit more specific.

Or just say no to modern setting and make it seem like their from a place in the past where technology doesn't exist.

They hand draw each image and keep the image in pristine condition for as long as they can, just taking a box of images with them so they can talk to others.

Other people in said world like this idea of sending messages through images and start making their own as well.
