i have had this same experience just with different words and it was also at the doctors office to diagnose me with swine flu when i was 8 good to know this experience is shared in the same but different way with others as it was with myself

it's so interesting i remember once i visited my grandmothers house in arizona when i was very young in her basement she had something that kind of resembled this i asked her about it and she said dont bring stuff like that into my home now i say theres nothing down there i know that and yelled at me in italian and kept calling me a witch i had no idea what that meant and i was obviously very scared being that of a child that night i had a dream of the thing in her basement crawling its way into the room and climbing up the dresser and watching me sleep and i remeber being so scared when i awoke i went to my grandmas room with my sister and we slept in her bed and she slept in ours and it never happened again and i never went back down there and i still dont know what that was i asked her about that night briefly again a year ago when i visted her in west virginia and she started spouting something in italian and shoeing me away she wouldnt answer maybe all grandparents secretly have things like this in their home but its taboo to talk about i really cant think of any reason otherwise i know the thing wasnt friendly tho and i never saw it again after that

found someplace in the woods behind my house when i lived in ohio that looked similarly once fed a bird there was bitten by it too and when i went home there was a snake in my bag bad omen i wonder sometimes if maybe things like this are the reason i turned out the way i did

no matter what i am doing i am ALWAYS thinking of this it speaks to me so deeply i am ill to even comprehend it
