does anyone ever have the best ideas for a story but isnt good at writing at all. Its so frustrating that i can't write good fanfiction. i just want yall to know that if i knew how to write that i would own the fluff tag. and smut tbh
I think everyone should go look at pictures of Anthony Mackie in pain & gain. It's a good time.
You two are my rocks. I can’t do it without you.
Why am I not seeing any awareness on the fact that a religious place for muslims was attacked by Israeli forces? In the holy month of Ramadan, where people were literally praying inside the mosque (that mind you holds high regards as from what I’ve heard it’s been mentioned in the holy book, Quran, multiple of times) they were attacked with violence. The flash bangs, stun grenades and rubber bullets have left 200 innocent Palestinians injured. I’m just horrified honestly. My thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Palestine 🥺💗
why would you go out of your way to tag sambucky 😭 yall need to actually pay attention and see that nobody thought that sambucky was actually gonna be canon. of course people HOPED but nobody actually believed that was gonna happen in the show. I'm like 99% sure those queerbaiting comments were just jokes too so??? Idk this is all good and dandy but the specific call out is weird.
which i think is somehow still a good thing???
like i get that sambucky! shippers are gonna be pissed bc nothing's gonna happen there, and there are ppl from the lgbt community who want representation as well
bUT LIKE HEAR ME OUT
it's also good message to put out there for the kids & teenagers (and adults) that are watching
THEY ARE SAYING THAT IT IS OK TO HAVE A STRONG RELATIONSHIP WITH SOMEONE, JUST BECAUSE!!!
normalize NOT romanticize yfm?
coz like everybody knows there is STILL too much bullshit going on about how two straight guys/girls CAN'T have a deep connection and bond without it being something more
so i guess it's just something that's nice to put out there as well, especially for kids bc they are gonna bring that lesson with them when they grow older
edit: the director said that the whole tiger thing wasn't supposed to seem like a sort of 'coming out',, it was just meant to show everybody how out of place and clueless he still is about modern day society
imma just end this here eek – to any sambucky! shippers out there, pls don't attack me this is just my opinion/outtake
For me probably the most annoying part of Bucky’s reaction to Sam giving up the shield (emphasis on annoying, because I don’t mean “the worst”) is the fact that he could have changed Sam’s mind before he made that decision.
We know that Sam was open to have a conversation and build some sort of relationship with Bucky and we know from the first half of the season that he cares about him at least a little bit, so he probably would take his opinions into consideration - especially opinions related to Steve. But Sam never got to hear these opinions, because Bucky didn’t accept the offer and ignored the texts.
Some people like to simplify Sam’s decision to not become Captain and say it’s him being insecure. We all know it’s way more complicated than that and there are other serious reasons for his reluctance to take the shield. But you can’t fully ignore the fact that taking Steve’s space could make him feel… inadequate, for lack of a better word. It’s a big role to take. A man much less humble than Sam would feel a little out of place trying to play it.
And Sam didn’t have too much support about being the legacy hero in the first place. He has his family, yes… but Sarah would probably encourage him to just take care of himself instead of jumping into another fight he doesn’t have to participate in (even if she believes he’d be a good Captain). He talks with Rhodey about it, but they’re more like friendly coworkers than “friends who happen to be coworkers”, so it’s different. And Rhodey really does understand what made Sam give up the shield, so he obviously doesn’t push, trying to make him change his mind.
Other than that… Sam’s pretty much alone.
If there was a person, who could have given him enough courage and motivation to take the shield it would’ve been Bucky. Because they were both very close to Steve, they both have strong opinions about him being a Captain, and Bucky definitely thinks that Sam’s a good person for this job. An oppinion Sam would probably value a lot in other circumstances. But Bucky missed his chance to influence Sam in a positive way and be there for him.
If he just tried to keep a positive relationship with Sam he would most likely be the first person to know that Sam has doubts. And I don’t know if his endorsement and support alone would make Sam entirely change his decision about the shield, but he’d be definitely more open to accepting the mantle if he knew that there was someone other that Steve who even wanted him to have it at all.
He didn’t know.
Good job, Barnes.
While i was watching him in svu i thought he was a lot like ed
I thought I’d heard Ed’s story before…
can we talk about sam's knife skills yet? I would love to get more sam and knife action.
I want you guys to really THINK and COMPREHEND that sam wilson, with nothing but civilian clothes and a knife on his person, went into a fight with hydra goons and came out with a gun.
THIS BITCH, literally went into a gun fight with a knife and came out with a gun. Just think about that for a while.
wow sam i have a TT too :D
