Anyone who's ever done anything creative needs to fucking see this.
NOW YOURE TALKING!!!
what kind of outfits does he die in? Nice suit? Royal regalia? Maybe he can also have a giant chicken costume, just to be able to pull out. If I were him, after all the existential horror, I would want a giant chicken costume
Danny Phantom idea/thought:
Lots of DP fics operate on the "the clothes you die in are your ghost clothes" idea; it's why Danny's always in his hazmat suit.
But if we combine this with immortal!Danny, specifically the idea that he can die but he always comes back (like in Love, Death and Nightingales by corkinavoid), then Danny could have multiple death outfits.
Cue Danny deliberately dying in cool outfits to unlock a better Ghostly Wardrobeβ’ (this could be comedy/crack or angst as Danny basically self harms to get the aesthetic).

iβm desperately low on fanfics about shen yuan and shang qinghua goofing off in their normal modern fashion only to get discovered by either their husbands or the sect leaders.
i need some good old truth serums.
i need masks falling away forcibly.
i need drunken shenanigans.
i need them to not realize people have seen them talk about vine and memes.

Here's a quick au idea that just came to me today:
In a modern au where Merlin is still waiting on Arthur, historians recently discovered a whole batch of legal documents from Arthur's reign. These documents detail many changes he made to the laws of Camelot, including the repeal of the magic ban (which the historians assumed was just a halt on witch hunts).
However, one thing that the historians note as strange were the large number of laws that only applied to the king's personal manservant, who was never mentioned by name in the documents. These laws range from oddly specific, such as 'the king's manservant shall not accompany knights to the tavern', to downright bizarre decrees that make no sense, like 'the king's manservant is hereby forbidden from pointing out stew in the king's hair.'
The historians' first guess was that perhaps King Arthur was going a bit mad in his later years, but they didn't find any other ludicrous laws besides the ones pertaining to his manservant, which then led the historians to question the identity of this manservant and his relationship to the king.
All of this culminates in a historical exhibit showcasing the documents and postulating on this mysterious manservant of king Arthur. Many scholars flock to the exhibit, eager to examine the documents and debate their meaning and impact within a historical context.
Which then leads to a very tired Dr. Merlin Emrys, a medieval history professor, being dragged by his colleagues to see the exhibit and having to stifle is laughter as these world-renowned scholars tear their hair out trying to understand what was essentially a prank war between him and Arthur.
Now that I've slept and can kind of rationalize what we all experienced last night I do want to say that I think it's tragically beautiful to show what first responders experience every day in the raw, unfiltered way they did in 8x15.
There's a responsibility there to portray the sacrifices men and women in this line of work make every single day of their lives. They run into danger with no guarantee they'll be safe, no promises that they'll be spared from whatever disaster surrounds them. Making it Bobby's choice to save his team is fucking gut wrenching but extremely powerful. It was either Bobby or the entire 118 because if the military knew he was infected, there is no way in hell they would have gotten them out.
I understand being mad. Being sad, crushed, in disbelief... but being pissed that Bobby died is a disservice to who Bobby is and was.
I see people screaming that this ruined the show and ruined the element of found family that the show has explored, beautifully I might add, but do you not understand that Bobby died doing the only thing he never thought he'd get a chance to do: SAVING his family.
Shang qinghua : Are you gay for pay?
Shen qingqiu : God no, i wish. I'm gay for free like a fucking idiot.
