i love “i know the end” by phoebe bridgers for mitsuba but SPECIFICALLY right before the nightlife arc—i like to imagine him half-consciously walking to kou’s house at night beneath fuzzy streetlights and city skylines and the song’s lyrics are his thoughts. it feels very much like a mitsuba song but in a way that’s so disillusioned and weary that it fits perfectly for him at that exact moment

also i really need official illustrations of him walking alone it’s such an interesting concept to me

Ough the way the mysteries always have a human being at the core of their regret. Something something that one dialogue in the early parts of the manga that explained the more regret a supernatural has the more powerful they are and the seven mysteries are the most powerful supernaturals at school. And it's not even just about death. It's about their inability to understand the person they lost before they were gone.

Something like this would be so colossally helpful. I'm sick and tired of trying to research specific clothing from any given culture and being met with either racist stereotypical costumes worn by yt people or ai generated garbage nonsense, and trying to be hyper specific with searches yields fuck all. Like I generally just cannot trust the legitimacy of most search results at this point. It's extremely frustrating. If there are good resources for this then they're buried deep under all the other bullshit, and idk where to start looking.
