listen, as awesome as a big sonadow confession and all would be, it would be so much funnier if they were just. together. and it was never really acknowledged. they hold hands in one scene and their friends just act like its normal. they start flirting in the middle of a fight but pass it off as shadow being extra snarky. they have wedding rings but they don't bring it up. shadow and tails team up somehow, and tails only asks about things concerning shadow, or his bike, but not how his marriage is going. no one ever mentions them being married or doing any couples shit ever. and whenever we see them talk they're acting exactly the same

as an artist, if someone says “I want to eat your art” or “your art tastes like ___” this is the highest form of compliment. You can not get any more appreciation than this. Consider it an honor.
