RO’s favorite foods?

Because the cuisine of RTH is a little different from the normal world, I'll just use them as references for their ideal foods ☺️

Twenty - they prefer more sweeter foods (that are also healthy) over anything else. They have a big sweet tooth so their favourite foods will include desserts like strawberry pies, carrot cakes, cinnamon rolls and ice creams.

Nikita - he likes anything that has meat in it. Vegetables other than potatoes, capsicums and carrots are a big no go for him. Steaks, chicken katsu, lamb chops, kebabs and many more.

Victor/Vanessa - sweet and sour! Although not as classy as Nikita, they love eating tamarind chutney, sweet and sour chicken and sometimes oranges. Gotta stay healthy yknow

Emir/Evara - a true indian to the heart, E. likes to eat their food packed with all sorts of spices. Without that they'd probably starve to death. They love eating samosas, vada pavs, momos, butter chicken, and tandoori chicken. For desserts they vouch for a classic rasgulla over anything else.

Leo - they don't really have a preference for anything, as they have a rather particular taste in food. Neither too greasy nor too dry, not spicy yet not bland at all. However if one were to insist, they'd prefer a well done steak

Caesar - he's a simple guy. Some cheese sandwich will do :) working for the national defence force doesn't leave you with much time to cook good food. But he really liked the cheesecake his wife made that one time on his birthday. He tried to replicate it but couldn't do it

Gael/Gwendolyn - living in poverty and under constant surveillance doesn't give one much choice. They'll eat anything they get, but a nice juicy hamburger will do

Legally, by the law of Elysium, yes MC is technically a criminal, and a branded traitor (although most of the RO's don't know that, excluding Leo, Nikita and E.) They engaged in activities which safe to say... were less than righteous and ideal. Anddd they pissed off pretty powerful people up there which further led to their decline. Saying anything more would be too spoilers eh heh 😜

Ahaha that would be a very interesting route to go down 😅 unfortunately it wouldn't be possible because E. despises Leo with every fibre of their being for what they did to MC, so they would NEVER let them near Leo, let alone get in a relationship with her.

Seeing that this IF takes inspiration from Shatter Me immediately altered my brain chemistry, you have the best taste 😭 (except for Book 3 which pains my soul w/ how disappointing it was. But Book 1 and Book 2 were🔥🔥🔥). Just wanted to ask how you're taking inspo from it, any of the story beats or potentially the writing style from Book 1??? 👀

Ahaha I really liked it! Even though I have only read the first book for now, college leaves one with very little leisure time 😞 and yep yep I took a lil bit (VERY LITTLE) inspo from it, mainly for the beginning of the story. (p.s. I may or MAY NOT have accidentally been inspired by Warner for Nikita for some reason, although I'm not sure if I actually did or am I just thinking too much 🧐) let me know if you know so

Sure! Some fun facts about them;

G is a notorious kleptomaniac. They can't seem to keep their hands off any shiny thing they lay their eyes on

Is very weak to crying. They may act all tough and macho but the sight of someones tears seems to soften them up slightly

Has a 'pet rock' that they keep on themselves all the time. Apparently they aren't emotionally capable of keeping a living pet.

Theory N1: First I thought mc was like a special forces agent but since you said they were a criminal from the beginning I guess not but! was mc hired to infiltrate the rebels and bring some type of intel? but maybe mc got too deep, or wanted to sell their info for a higher offer, or started to believe the rebel cause (but I guess not if they left pissed off rebels) and mc erased their own memories as a safe?

That's a very interesting theory i must admit! You were correct on the 'they started believing the rebels cause' part but unfortunately the rest is a straying away a bit ehe 🤭 but that's a very nice theory there and I quite like it! But it seems people have misunderstood when I stated that the MC is legally considered a criminal,I mean their past actions do make them one (or something even worse than that), but then again anyone who goes against the Hightable is one. I'll just say this, and it might be a little too spoilery, but the MC held a lot more power one could imagine before they were thrown off their pedestal for plotting against the Masters.

Over and all I really liked this theory and I hope that there can be more such theories! I love reading what you guys have thought about the MC's secret past
