They probably sat like that until the very night and Stas (the name of my gender swap! Person) went to look for his wayward stepbrother (Stepbrother, because if he was a blood brother it would be something like incest...) Stas comes to Khagan's workshop, knowing about the master's frequent visits, he knocks on the door and when Khagan opens the door and looks who it is, he sees Stas on the threshold of his workshop.
