hot take apparently but i think it's good for white people to relate to poc's art. i think it's good for straight people to relate to queer art. stop acting like we're different species who could never possibly understand each other what the fuck is wrong with you

youtubers love to say “i hope i’m pronouncing that correctly” while recording themselves in a video that they upload to the internet, which they have access to
"immortality sucks because all your friends die" all your friends die anyway. those we do not mourn are those who mourn us.
"immortality sucks because you forget who you are" we always forget who we are. do you remember who you were at four years of age? who you were at fourteen? "who i am" is a shadow cast on the wall.
"immortality sucks because" skill issue. skill issue. skill issue. give me your liver
if someone has a take about the relationship between capitalism and disability that you disagree with, then it is perfectly fine to, well, disagree with it. however, to see a difference in interpretive practice and to decide that this is not someone interpreting things differently than you do and thus reaching a different conclusion, but in fact "misinformation" that they just "didn't realise" was "harmful" and that you need to use your "platform" (lmao) to "educate" (!!?) them out of—thus presenting what comes down to a different interpretive model than your's as something objectively incorrect, while you are objectively correct—well, it is extremely obnoxious and condescending.
especially since it's clear that this person is not well-informed enough about the social model of disability to know what it is, much less to effectively argue against it
