This turned into a head cannon so I could flush out the s/o a bit, but I honestly want to do more with it 😍 might be a part 2 or a short story that comes with this. Thanks for the request! The grammar and spelling might be off, I didn’t have a chance to go over it but will do so later once I get a moment. Didn’t want to leave you waiting any longer than you already had!

-To an outside observer Mirio and his s/o may seem like an odd couple. His energetic and boisterous personality would be too much of a contrast to her soft spoken and calm demeanor for them to be able to work.

- Mirio had first been drawn to her due to her quirk. Her hair was full of flora of all colors, shapes and sizes and Mirio had though it was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. The light fragrance that surrounded her due to the floral was also a plus in his opinion. It was a soft fragrance that reminded him of the flower shop near his home right after it rained. He hadn’t realized he would become so addicted to the scent as time went on.

- He had kind of been intimidated by her at first. She was able to find a way to make her seemingly only astethic quirk useful in hero training, something he had still been working on with his own quirk. That added to the intensity and confidence she carried herself with gave him pause, if only for a moment.

- He had quickly became enraptured by the way she seemed to only speak in poetry or prose, he swore he could listen to her flowery words for hours and never grow tired of it.

- “You’re a dedicated worker, Mirio, and the virtuous will always be rewarded. Have no fear for the future, your path will lead you in the right direction when you are needed.”

- Early on in his time at U.A., Mirio would often find himself comparing his ability and progress to others. He often felt as if he would make one step forward but only to take three steps back. Constantly seeing his classmates get so far ahead of him frustrated him to no end. Her soft words often brought him comfort during these times. She encouraged him to focus on his own progress and to keep a clear mind free of the envy and bitterness he often felt when the topic of quirks came up. She soom became a steady pillar of support for him along with Tamaki and Nejire.

-“ Look at where you are now from where you started. You’ve progressed in leaps and bounds in ways many others are not able to because they lack your motivation and drive. Continue as you are and your calling will find you.”

- Her belief in his ability and her affirmations always made his chest swell with pride and affection for her.

- She had a belief in the inherit goodness of others that Mirio also found charming. While others may have thought her to be naive, he was inspired by it. In classes she had focused on learning about the rehabilitation of villains - something many students studying to be heroes never bothered with.

-“Just because someone lost their way doesn’t mean they should be abandoned entirely”

- She was a bright light in a world where it was so easy for people to be apathetic and Mirio couldn’t help but gravitate towards her more and more as time went by.

-Early into their second year Mirio decided he never wanted to be without the warm feelings she always gave him. He loved how he could always get a soft smile or lilting laugh from her when he was up to his usual antics. He was nearly obsessed with the way her eyes would shine when she became passionate about her faith and beliefs. She had also started teaching him the language of flowers recently which had him formulating an idea.

- over the course of the past month he had been asking about flowers that stood for love or passion, admittedly he should’ve been a little more subtle but subtly wasn’t exactly in his nature

-after deciding on the right flowers and stopping by the flower shop near his home she reminded him so much of, he made his way to school with a bouquet ready to confess

- he found her in the crowded halls easily due to her quirk and boldly proclaimed his affections regaurdless of who was around to hear.

- he was rambling, he knew this, but everything just kept tumbling out. He couldn’t stop going on about how he loved when she gave him her soft smiles, how he always adored the small jokes she would make that nobody else really understood, or how he felt like he really could save a million people as long as he had her support.

- her calm demeanor was unwavering during his speech but he saw the light color her skin had taken, how her eyes became so full of life he felt like he was getting lost in them, and the slight scent of fresh lavender that was slowly overtaking his senses.

- “I was hoping you would confess, if you had taken much longer I would be the one telling you how much I adore you.”

-“ Well, it wouldn’t really hurt if you did it now, right?”

Don’t Drop Your Axe!

It. is. DONE.

I’ve been animating for a feature film, so on the side I took one of my shorter shot lengths to do a proper animation of these characters. 

Jirou, Momo and Uraraka have been captured! How would they react when s/o comes to save them, ripping a metal door off its hinges, and carrying them off bridal style?

(Every time someone requests the girls, one more year is added to my life)

Jirou Kyoka:

The moment she sees her significant other bust into the place she’s been held capture, she would feel just so glad and thankful. They have come to save her, she doesn’t know how to contain her grattitude.

Her eyes widen in surprise when they rip the metal door, not believing that her partner actually was THAT strong. She would be speechless, trying to form a coherent sentence while they pick them up.

Jirou would blush so hard when she’s being carried out bridal style out of the establishment. She would have to bury her face into her significant other’s shoulder to brush off the blush spreading across her cheeks.

She would also give them a long hug and would hardly let go afterwards, ‘cause she’s glad both her and her partner are safe.

Momo Yaoyorozu:

She almost cries there and then, shouting their name. Not only because her significant other was the one to come to save her, but they were risking their life for her sake.

Momo knew her partner was strong, but she was left in awe when she saw them ripping the door open with their bare hands. She’d be stuck between a feeling of amazement and flustered at the sight.

She would get even more flustered when her significant other’s strong arms would hold her bridal style to take her out of that place. She’s absolutely not checking them out in that moment. Not at all.

Momo would pepper their face with kisses and thank them tenfolds for saving her. She may or may not compliment their outstanding strength.

Uraraka Ochako:

She immediately calls them, the biggest smile on her face and teary eyes, her arms longing for her. Uraraka is just so happy to see them after feeling so scared and alone.

She probably would exclaim in amazement when her significant other frees them by simply obliterating the door, before thinking it through. She would blush and apologise right after, but she does find them simply astonishing.

Her face could put tomatoes to shame the moment she’s picked up by her partner. She’s so flustered and just hides her face in her palms so her s/o doesn’t notice.

Uraraka would probably pass out from both being too flustered and the adrenaline rush from the kidnapping before her partner gets to talk to her.

Anyway, I’ve been in the BNHA writing mood, so here, have some boys! will i be opening ask box for bnha requests…. maybe…

Midoriya Izuku

There are times when Midoriya cannot utter a single word around his crush. Because he cannot control his nerves around his crush, he tries to distant himself from them… But that goes as well as you would expect. Pity to the poor soul who decides to train with him because Midoriya cannot concentrate AT ALL. His gaze always ends up towards the direction of his crush, so Midoriya practically becomes a punching bag. That does not change Midoriya’s opinion though. He is not going to confess to his crush since he convinces himself of only feeling admiration for his crush’s abilities (when in reality he knows he has a crush, but heros can’t balance a love life and their duties, right?).

Bakugou Katsuki

Bakugou would be frustrated all the damn time. Here he is trying to concentrate on his training yet all he can think about is his crush’s stupidly cute grin or their stupidly melodic voice. It is all so stupid… All of Bakugou’s feelings become so pent up, so he ends up being more aggressive towards his classmates. But, if his crush were to ever fall into his line of sight, Bakugou turns the other way. There is no way he is ever going to tell them, especially since he doubts himself and secretly worries about being laughed at for having a crush.

Todoroki Shouto

Todoroki would be confused as to what he is feeling. Is he getting sick? I mean, he has been sweating and fidgeting a lot more lately. And, even without using his quirk, his temperature has been rising. Because of these symptoms he has not been able to concentrate. In the end, he would opt for asking advice as to why he’s feeling this way (probably Midoriya or Iida since they are trustworthy friends of his). When Todoroki comes to the realization that he has a crush, he absolutely does not know how to go about this situation. In the end, he won’t act upon his feelings. Todoroki does not feel worthy of liking anyone to the extent of his crush. He doesn’t know anything about “love,” so how does he expect to show it?

Iida Tenya

Iida is the class president! And as someone who is trying to become a hero, there is no time for crushes! …And because of this mindset he has been more jarring towards the others, in regards to discipline. “Your necktie is loose?! What are you, a barbarian?!” The class finds him totally annoying and want him to stop. Iida is all work and no play, because of this he does not act upon his feelings. Which honestly, makes him feel kind of empty? He can’t quite put a word to his feelings, but there is no way he can keep up with a love life and his duties as a hero/class president.

Kirishima Eijirou

Kirishima would totally show off in front of his crush! How could someone not like a manly man like him?! During the times when he is not around his crush, he would be extremely pouty though. The poutiness is not because he is beside his crush 24/7, it is due to Kirishima thinking about his crush 24/7. He believed demonstrating his skills in front of his crush would get their intention, but that does not seem to be the case. This did not seem to get much of a reaction out of them, so what he is he supposed to do now? What if his crush doesn’t even think about him, like he does of them?

Kaminari Denki

Kaminari would make every effort to speak to his crush. Sometimes he would say the stupidest things, because he truly has nothing else to say. But he wants to talk to his crush because they are the best person in the world. Kaminari being the hopeless romantic that he is also fantasizes about him being the super, suave boyfriend he would be(maybe?), by pulling off moves like the kabedon. There would come a point where the conversations would not go anywhere, and his crush only responds with laughs and giggles. Does this mean the conversations have gotten awkward? Are they laughing out of pity? Should he stop trying to pursue them?

…Will they ever confess?

What would happen if Coco, Velvet, Blake and Pyrrha when they walk in on their s/o having a deep philosophical conversation with their pet? (Bonus points if it's a pet that really doesn't do anything but stay in the cage/tank)

Coco:

What is going on

At first, she thinks you’re talking to her an just didn’t realise she wasn’t there

Then she thinks your on your scroll

Then she realises you’re talking to your cat, who’s currently napping, and kinda just watches

I mean you’re making some good points

She’s content to just listen

If she thinks of something to add she’ll just say it

She’ll laugh when you get scared

Velvet:

She talks to herself all the time so she’s pretty fine with this

Thinks it’s cute when you talk to your turtle

He kinda swims around and you debate deep philosophical topics with him

She might try talking to him herself at some point

He seems like a good listener

Blake:

Stares at you like your crazy

“Why are you talking to the hamsters? They aren’t even listening.”

Want’s you to talk to her instead

Pyrrha:

Kinda giggles and then keeps going on with what she’s doing with an “Oh don’t mind me”

She guesses it’s a good way to get your thoughts out. Sometimes you don’t know if you agree with yourself until you say it out loud
