Idk why Padmé was so upset about Anakin beating the crap out of Clovis like??? He just walked in on his wife getting sexually assaulted??? What did you think he was going to do??? And he blames himself for losing his temper and stuff, but dude there couldn’t be a better justification for blowing up. Even if he didn’t love Padmé and wasn’t married to her, a Jedi couldn’t just witness something like that and keep their cool! The injustice! Padmé clearly and deliberately told Clovis “No!” And he still tried to touch her in ways that were obviously unwelcome so thank you Anakin for being a good hubby and defending Padmé <<<3333

I'm normally a big bitch about anachronisms but I'm willing to handwave them for School Spirits bc decades and decades is sure to make your memory murky and mushy. Wally misses Debbie Gibson despite her first album coming out three years after he died? He heard it after he was already trapped. Emilio showed Charley Crash Into Me in 1994 even though the song released in 1996? No he didn't, Charley doesn't remember what song it really was and he's substituted one he's heard Emilio listening to since. Quinn was a huge Veronica Mars fan in 2004 even though the show would have only aired a handful of episodes when she died? It's one of the few things she remembers about herself before the mind draining numbness of being stuck in a loop and she's latched onto it as part of her anyway.

Like I am SO willing to make shit up about the things they say that aren't right in the timeline if it makes it sadder. Love it.

Audible Symphonia Edition! Where Cassian takes the symphonia (maybe a new one just for this) and reads Nesta’s romances in his courtier voice. 

And then Cassian starts putting his own commentary into it like “go to bed, Sweetheart” or “I can do this much better, you know. In fact I would (insert graphic details here)” and when it hits to love confession scenes, he’ll pause and say “I love you, Nesta Archeron. My heart and soul belongs to you.”  

And Nesta listens to it all the time. She finds she doesn’t mind that he keeps interrupting her reading, since he’s always doing that anyways. She listens to it over and over again especially while he’s away because it makes her laugh, but also because the sound of his voice brings her comfort. 

I honestly feel like nobody in lotr mentions how fucking weird Legolas is. He stays up pacing the floor and singing to himself in the dead of night. He deadass stares straight into the tree line in the absolute pitch black when no one else can see anything. He yells goodbye to a river he has heard about in songs. He's so strange and not one character mentions it AT ALL. I absolutely love him.

I'm thinking about the Jedi and Anakin, like you do, and it just cracks me up so much to see any variation of 'they always looked at him with suspicion, like they were waiting for him to mess up.'

Sure, in TPM they're unsure about him because Qui-Gon is dropping a nine year old with a lot of previous issues onto their laps and telling them they really should give him a laser sword and train him in the ways of the supernatural universe bending empathic powers that let you blow things up with your mind and that go haywire if you're emotionally unbalanced. Nobody's thrilled about the prospect.

But after that, honestly, the only Jedi who can ever be said to look at Anakin somewhat like that is Mace, which can be forgiven because 1) the man is Stressed and the people he doesn't expect to mess up are far and few in between, and 2) he and Anakin still have a rather cordial relationship overall, even if they aren't bffs.

But Luminara? Constantly smiles at Anakin. Jocasta? Same. Aayla? Calls him Master Skywalker (respectful, considering they're the same rank in the Order, if maybe not in the Army), is very caring and nice to him. Shaak Ti? Never changes that soft expression of hers. Adi? Big smirk when he shows off, like "aw, would you look at this kid." Plo? You can't even tell how he looks at people. Kit? Biggest grin. Even Piell? He's a grumpy bastard but he's not judgmental. Ki-Adi? Yeah, I guess it does happen once in a while - but he does it with Yoda as well they think he might be under attack from the Dark Side, so really it's him having a suspicious nature, not him targeting Anakin specifically. Seriously, Obi-Wan is more critical of Anakin than Ki-Adi is, and Obi-Wan has an Anakin-shaped blind spot in his soul.

Speaking of Obi-Wan - when he leaves for Utapau in RotS, he has the sparkly eyes of someone so overflowing with love that the gravitational pull of his affection for Anakin is warping the very light around them both.

Jedi freaking like Anakin is what I'm saying.

My 9 yo brother is LOSING HIS MIND watching AotC. Anakin's attempts at flirting have him howling with laughter, and he's more invested in the bonker sky chase than in any battle so far. Proving once again the Prequels are very enjoyable to their intended audience - kids.

When I waited in anticipation, for two years, for Season 2 of The Bad Batch, never for one moment did I think it would result in my partner chanting ‘Let Tech fuck!’ whilst eating breakfast.

“She refuses to talk without one of her brothers. She’s a minor, so it’s probably easier to wait on them.”

“How old?”

“The younger is mid-twenties, but I doubt he’s coming. Looks like he’s on the other side of the country, has toddlers, that sort of thing. The elder is about an hour and a half away, teaches biology at a community college. He is also twenty-one years her senior, so I’m guessing he’s more of a parent than a sibling, and he’s the one she called. Said he’s on his way.”

“Bit of a gap, there. Adopted, or were the parents just taking their time, do you think?”

“Um… anyway, I heard he’s bringing his ex-wife. A lawyer, apparently.”

“Still on good enough terms? Fancy that. Well, see if you can set up a rapport before the brother arrives. I’ll see what we have on the lawyer.”

“She’s a partner at Kryze & Organa, sir. She’s Kryze.”

“…well, I’ll do what I can to prepare.”
